  • The purpose of this research is to observe that the acoustic characters of classroom have some difference by several conditions. TSP has used to measure impulse response and such physical indexes as RT(Reverberation Time), D$\sub$50/, and STI(Speech-Transmission-Index) are computed by it. we investigate difference under some conditions such as when students were present at each classroom and when was not so, and when professor used a microphone and unused it. In this study, we found that reverberation time when people take a seat is lower than was not so. we wish to help one who work for construction industry, as they build a kind of classroom

  • Sublimatographic study on the method of test for sulfur in the petroleum and rubber products was as following results: (1) The relation between the heating temperature$(t_h)$ and the vacuum condensing point(V.C.P.) of sulfur at different degree of vacuum appeared as Fig.4. The results were in good agreement with those expected from the $t_h-V.C.P$ curves of sublimatographic separation of sulfur. (2) The relation between the degree of vacuum and the V.C.P. at different heating temperature of sulfur appeared as follows; $$tv.c.p.=\alpha+{\beta}logP_{va}$$ (3) The V.C.P of sulfur could be physical property comparing with melting point and boiling point. (4) The relation between the V.C.P. and the quantity of sublimation of sulfur becomes quantitative as Fig.7.

  • In this paper a discrete extended Kalman filter for the tidal prediction has been developed. The filter is based on a set of difference equations derived from the one dimensional shallow water equations using the finite difference scheme proposed by Lax-Wendroff. The filter gives estimates of the water level and water velocity, together with the parameters in the model which essentially have a random character, e.g. bottom friction and wind stress. The estimates are propagated and updated by the filter when the physical circumstances change. The Kalman-filter is applied to field data gathered in the coastal area alon the West Sea and it is shown that the filter gives satisfactory results in forecasting the waterlevels during storm surge periods.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the linguistic origin of the species manes of landscape plants in order to help students understand the physical characteristics of the plants through the botanical names. This study includes the plants that are possible to use as landscape material as well as both the native and foreign plants that are already used. Name of Species of Scientific name in Landscape plant be derived from region or nations of habitat, botanist, plant explors, and their sponser, and plant form and number of leaves or flowers, character or ingredient of plants and shape of stem, tree crown form. In this paper, about 300 species(contains varieties, formas) are interpreted into etymological meanings.

  • We demonstrated that the solution processed organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) have the high efficiency with pre-treated indium-tin-oxide (ITO). ITO surface was pre-treated with four methods and compared each other. The pre-treatment of ITO surface improves the chemical and physical characteristics of ITO such as the surface roughness, adhesion property, and the hole injection ability. These properties were analyzed by the contact angle, atomic force microscope (AFM) image, and the current flow character in device. As a results, the device with ITO pre-treated by $O_2$ plasma shows the current efficiency of 5.93 cd/A, which is 1.5 times the device without pre-treatment.

  • Esophageal duplication constitute about 10% of all the mediastinal tumor and relatively rare condition. We have experienced one case of esophageal duplication which was found 2 years previously by radiologic study of chest, as mediastinal mass, in 37 years old male. He had neither clinical manifestations nor physical findings leading to the surgical discovery of the duplication. During the last 2 years, the size k location of the mass were stationary in character. Operative therapy of complete excision performed without surgical complication. On microscopic study, the lining cell of inner wall of cyst. Noted pseudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium with smooth muscle.

  • An engineering approach for estimating the stress intensity factors of a semi-elliptical crack is presented. An approximate 2-dimensional approach solution for semi-elliptical crack is derived in terms of simple equation, through weight function technique, by reflecting on the physical character of cracks.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine types of parenting among fathers. The characteristics of parenting each type in early childhood were identified by systematically analyzing and classifying father's perceptions of parenting using the Q-methodology, which places importance on the perspective of the performer. Methods: The Q-method, which is effective for measuring individual subjectivity was used. The subjects in this study were 50 fathers with young children (2~36 months). Results: Four parenting types were identified analyzing the subjective perceptions of fathers with young children about parenting. One type was centered on character development. Another was centered on social development. A third was centered on physical health and development. The fourth was centered on building values. Conclusion: Parenting education programs should be developed based on type-specific characteristics and further research should investigate the effects of father's parenting type.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop simulations that can be used for virtual education in dentistry. This development goal is to allow dental students to learn the necessary surgical techniques at the point of their choice, not going into the operating room, away from time, space, and physical limits. In this paper configuration, the optimization method is applied convergent, and when the operation of the VR contents is performed, the content data is extracted from the interaction analysis formed in the VR engine, and the data is processed by the content algorithm. It also computes events and dental operations generated within the 3D engine programming and generates corresponding events through data processing according to the input signal. The visualization information is output to the HMD using the rendering information. In addition, the operating room environment was constructed by studying lighting and material for actual operating room environment. We applied the ratio of actual space to virtual space and the ratio between character and actual person to create a spatial composition at a similar rate to actual space.

  • In this paper, we propose a system and an intuitive interface that can create an athletic scene among athletes. We allow you to enter motion as if you were playing a game, so that the user's action becomes the player's action. The user can take various actions in front of the motion sensor and control the object flying to him. When a user specifies an opponent to pass or attack, and takes appropriate action in front of the motion sensor, the movement trajectory of the object is automatically generated by the physical optimization technique in accordance with the motion. In this way, you can create scenes where multiple players play together in a virtual environment. The method of this paper will be very useful for rapid prototyping for cinematic trailers of based on athletics games or animations.
