Background and objective: This study was conducted to examine the effects of the theme-based garden book (photo book) making integration program on social skills and self-determination of college students with developmental disabilities. Methods: We analyzed the changes in social skills and self-determination of college students with developmental disabilities. The first step was defining the theme-based garden book (photo book) making integration program, which was done by focus group interviews (FGI) comprised of specialists in the industry and academia. The second step was carrying out 8 sessions of the program. The third step was examining the effects of the program on social skills and self-determination of college students with developmental disabilities. The participants of this study were 36 college students with developmental disabilities attending N University, and 17 students were in the experiment group and the other 19 in the control group. Results: The control group showed no statistically significant changes in the three sub-domains of social skills, while the experimental group showed statistically significant differences across all three sub-domains, such as cooperation(P < .05), assertion(P < .05), and self-control(P < .05). The experimental group, that participated in the program showed statistically significant differences across all four sub-domains of self-determination skills, such as behavior (P < .05), cognition(P < .05), school support(P < .05) and home support(P < .05). This proved that the theme-based garden book (photo book) making program contributed to bringing positive effects to self-determination and social skills. Conclusion: These results suggest that the theme-based garden book (photo book) making integration program could improve self-determination and social skills of college students with developmental disabilities. These positive changes are related to the high level of interest in theme-based garden design programs among college students with developmental disabilities, and thus these programs can be used effectively to improve social adjustment.

패션 일러스트레이션은 빠르게 변화하는 현대의 생활환경에서 예술과 산업의 여러 분야에 응용되어 폭이 넓어지고 있다. 실물이 없어서 사진으로 표현하기 어려운 분야, 특히 앞서가는 유행경향을 표현해야 하는 트랜드 북(trend book) 등에서 많이 활용되고 있다. 학계와 패션 업계에서는 점차 패션 일러스트레이션의 중요성을 인식하여 단순히 의복제작과 연결되는 설명도로서의 패션 일러스트레이션 뿐만 아니라 복식 전반의 이미지 전달을 위한 표현을 폭 넓게 연구하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 독특한 표면 재질 효과를 통하여 현대 패션의 복합적인 이미지 전달을 위하여 포토몽타주를 응용한 패션 일러스트레이션을 연구하였다. 연구의 내용 및 방법은 국내외 도서자료와 논문을 통해 패션 일러스트레이션과 포토몽타주에 대한 문헌조사를 하였으며, 패션의 복합적인 이미지 전달을 중심으로 총 5점의 실물을 제작하였다.

본 작품은 학생들이 만든 캡스톤디자인 작품이다. 본 작품의 기획의도는 특정한 형식에 구애받지 않고 자신만의 생각을 텍스트뿐만 아니라 여기에 사진과 동영상 등의 다양한 멀티미디어를 함께 첨부할 수 있는 스토리앱 형식의 전자책을 개발하고자 한다. 이 전자책은 디자인 템플릿을 통해 예쁘게 꾸밀 수 있으며, 본인이 담고 싶은 글을 책으로 만들고, 이렇게 만들어진 개성 있는 전자책은 상대방에게 공유를 통해 선물할 수 있는 어플리케이션으로 개발한다. 따라서 본 연구는 개성 있는 포토북을 자유롭고 쉽게 만들 수 있는 환경 구현 즉, CMS에 그치지 않고 개인의 소중한 추억을 타인들에게 공유함으로써 감동을 나눌 수 있게 하는 것이 최종 목표이다. 또한 모바일에서만 공유로 끝나는 것이 아닌 pc로도 전송 가능하기 때문에 만들어진 결과물을 출력 후 종이책으로 제본해 보관할 수 있는 서비스 역시 기대해 볼 수 있겠다.

Fredrick Krause's chair in the Brooklyn Museum of Art (accession no. 87. 19) is a key to the understanding of factory-made, patent furniture, and the Modern Gothic style in the United States. However, research has rarely done for this chair as well as for the designer. Since this piece is incorporating the utility patent, it is a valuable example to understand the nineteenth-century patented furniture. Because of the popularity of Modern Gothic style, the similar style of chairs were often manufactured. This study explores how other examples are related and what the significance of the Brooklyn Museum chair is. The book of Sharon Darling provided especially helpful information about other Krause chairs in Fond du Lac and chair manufactures in Chicago. The interview with John Ebert at Galloway House in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin was especially helpful. Several primary sources proved helpful in researching the chair. The photo archives. of Kimbel and Cabus at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum provides me a key to this research.

We report new polymer stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystal (PSFLC) cells with mechanical stability which is achievable by introducing photospacers in the cells. It was found that the mechanical st ability of the PSFLC cell was effected by introduction of photo spacers. We analyzed the dependence of mechanical stability and memory property on the density of photospacers in the PSFLC cell. The stability and memory properties of PSFLC Cells depending on photospacer density are discussed. 1. Introduction Recently, flexible displays have attracted much attention because they have remarkable advantages: thinner, lighter, non-breakable and conformable features. Flexible displays have various potential applications such as e-book and e-paper displays utilizing the distinct features. E-book and E-paper displays demand very low power consumption, so that bistable memory liquid crystal modes are required in case of flexible plastic LCDs for those application. Three kinds of memory LC modes have been developed; bistable nematic, bistable cholesteric and bistable FLC. Among them SSFLC as one of bistable FLC has big advantages such as low driving voltage, wide view angle and fast response time, SSFLC cells are, however, very weak against mechanical shock. Polymer stabilized FLC (PSFLC) has been developed to overcome the poor mechanical stability of SSFLC. PSFLC was known to have network structure that FLCs are oriented with smectic layer ordering in polymer network. The polymer network stabilizes the FLC orientation, which leads to improvement of mechanical stability of PSFLCD. A lot of studies have been done for the application of PSFLC to flexible $LCDs.^{[1{\sim}12]}$ However, it should be noted that PSFLC does not have sufficient mechanical stability for the particular applications such as smart card LCD, where LCD is highly bendable.Bead spacer was mainly used to maintain cell gap of conventional PSFLCDs. But the spacer density of it is not locally uniform in the cell, so that it is generally difficult that the PSFLCDs with bead spacers show sufficient mechanical stability. In order to more improve the mechanical stability of PSFLCDs, we introduced photospacers into PSFLCDs. In this paper, we describe the improvement of mechanical stability by introducing photospacers into PSFLCDs.

According as the drivers increase who have their cars, the comprehensive studies on the automobile for the traffic safety have been raised as the important problems. Visual Recognition System for radio-controled driving is a part of the sensor processor of Unmanned Autonomous Vehicle System. When a driver drives his car on an unknown highway or general road, it produces a model from the successively inputted road traffic information. The suggested Recognition System of the Road Traffic Safety Information Board is to recognize and distinguish automatically a Road Traffic Safety Information Board as one of road traffic information. The whole processes of Recognition System of the Road Traffic Safety Information Board suggested in this study are as follows. We took the photographs of Road Traffic Safety Information Board with a digital camera in order to get an image and normalize bitmap image file with a size of $200{\times}200$ byte with Photo Shop 5.0. The existing True Color is made up the color data of sixteen million kinds. We changed it with 256 Color, because it has large capacity, and spend much time on calculating. We have practiced works of 30 times with erosion and dilation algorithm to remove unnecessary images. We drawing out original image with the Region Splitting Technique as a kind of segmentation. We made three kinds of grouping(Attention Information Board, Prohibit Information Board, and Introduction Information Board) by RYB( Red, Yellow, Blue) color segmentation. We minimized the image size of board, direction, and the influence of rounding. We also minimized the Influence according to position. and the brightness of light and darkness with Eigen Vector and Eigen Value. The data sampling this feature value appeared after building the learning Code Book Database. The suggested Recognition System of the Road Traffic Safety Information Board firstly distinguished three kinds of groups in the database of learning Code Book, and suggested in order to recognize after comparing and judging the board want to recognize within the same group with Nearest Neighborhood Decision Making.

본 연구는 국내에 출판된 어린이·청소년 성교육 도서 중 가장 널리 읽히는 도서 77권을 선정하여 도서가 포함하는 주제와 표현 방식, 주요 대상 독자의 특성, 저자의 직업 등 다양한 기준을 바탕으로 성교육 도서의 현황을 분석하였다. 유네스코 국제 성교육 가이드 2018 개정판에 제시된 주제 중 분석 대상 도서에서 가장 많이 언급된 것은 어린이·청소년이 자신의 감정과 몸에 관해 알고자 하는 것이 자연스러운 일이며 책을 통해 스스로 배워나갈 수 있다는 이야기였다. 자신의 신체에 대한 존중, 성 및 재생산과 관련된 기관에 관한 지식, 난자와 정자, 월경 주기, 호르몬의 역할 등도 자주 등장하는 주제였다. 가장 언급되지 않은 주제는 HIV와 AIDS, 젠더 기반 폭력에 관한 내용이었다. 전체 도서의 63.5%가 줄글책이었으며, 그림책과 만화책, 사진 삽화 그림책 등의 형식도 있었다. 2019년을 기점으로 특정 성별의 독자를 염두에 둔 책의 출판이 활발해졌으며, 성교육 도서를 집필하는 저자의 직업군도 다양해졌다. 모든 어린이와 청소년이 자신을 충분히 탐색하고 성장할 수 있게 도우면서, 동시에 타인을 깊이 이해하고 평화롭게 공존할 수 있도록 성교육 도서의 역할과 범위에 대해 더 많은 고민과 논의가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to propose 3D art make-up design process by reproducing real objects through preliminary digital drawing with Photoshop (Photo Shop CS4.0, Adobe, USA) and using special make-up that has never been done previously, and produce creative problem solving plan to make concrete expanding thoughts and ideas. As for this study method, this study was composed of preliminary study, literature study by book examination and positive study on design process that performed preparatory work and reproduced real objects. Real case study by art make-up design process can improve effective design expressing ability by utilizing special make-up, diversify techniques, extend expression areas by materials, and create unique design. In addition, preliminary work by digital drawing, a process to predict real object work in advance, could reduce time and cost while improving work skill for work production, raise design accuracy and make easy the modification of idea. This study is anticipated to activate digital make-up by various digital techniques including Photoshop.

Woodcraft activities have an inseparable relationship with our daily life, and it is a field that needs to be continued because of the value of education for the growing students. The interest in woodworking from childhood to old age is rapidly expanding nowadays, therefore this study has been done to provide images to those who are engaged in woodcraft business and also those who are interested in this field. If we look at the use of wood in our daily life, We can classify it into Architecture, Civil engineering, Furniture, Musical Instrument, Packaging, Recreational instrument, Exercise instrument, Stationery, Daily commodity, and Industrial use. Among them, We examined kinds of stationery and which type of woods were used. As a result of classifying 101 stationery products in 22 countries, stationery materials using wood can be used for Business cards, Envelope houses, Box houses, Pen holders, Locker plates, Stationery baskets, Book holders, Stamps, Paper knives, Bookmarks, and Photo frames. It was found various wooden stationery are made in USA, Japan, UK, Canada etc. And the most frequently used species are hardwoods such as Walnut (Juglans regia), Maple (Acer spp.), Cherry (Prunus serotina), Birch (Betula spp.), Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla), Tulip (Liriodendron tulipifera Linnaeus), Bubinga (Guibourtia tessmannii J. Leonard), Wenge (Milletia laurentii De. wild), Cocobolo (Dallbergia cultrata Grah), Zebrawood (Microberlinia brazzavillensis A. Chev.) and Ebony (Diospyros spp.).

Hotel consumers tend to rely on online reviews to reduce the risk to hotel products when they book hotel rooms because hotel products are high-risk products due to their intangibility. However, the development of ICT has caused information load, and it is an important issue to be perceived as useful information to consumer because a large amount of information complicates the decision making process of consumers. Drawn from Heuristic-Systematic Model(HSM), the present study explored the role of heuristic and systematic cues composing an online review influencing consumers' perception of hotel online reviews. More specifically, this study identified reviewers' identity, level of the reviewer, review star ratings, and attached hotel photo as heuristic cue, while review length, cognitive level of review and negativity in review as systematic cues. The binary logistic regression was adopted for analysis. This study found that only systematic cues of online review were found to affect the usefulness of it. Moreover, we preceded further study examining the moderating effect of seasonality in the relationships between systematic cues and usefulness.
