국내 학술지에 보고된 철학상담 사례의 대화 분석 (Analysis of Conversation in Philosophical Counseling Cases Reported in Korean Journals)

  • Objectives: We analyzed the reports of philosophical counseling and derived the characteristics of the questions that were administered in philosophical counseling. We also wanted to discuss if philosophical questions are necessary and applicable in Oriental medicine counseling. Methods: A systematic search of three Korean databases were performed. Case reports or case series that apply philosophical counseling to clients were included in this study (through June 27, 2019). We extracted questions and answers from the dialogue of each case. Extracted conversations between counselor and client were analyzed qualitatively. Results: Seven published articles with 17 cases were included and were analyzed for philosophical counseling. Philosophical questions have the following characteristics to help clients: (1) To clarify the phenomenon, (2) To identify subject and object, (3) To consider other people's perspective, (4) To review the premise, (5) To review the association relationship (6) To allow opportunities to think differently, and (7) To think of identity and values. Philosophical counseling and Korean medical counseling have commonalities in improving patients' resilience through logical conversation. The use of philosophical counseling in Korean medical counseling will maximize clients' philosophical resilience and the reparative power of nature. Thus, it is desirable to apply philosophical counseling to the practice of Korean medicine (KM). Conclusions: Through the qualitative analysis, we analyzed and categorized major characteristics of philosophical counseling. In the future, the possibility of using philosophical counseling should be explored in the KM practice.

우리나라 공공 정보화 정책에 대한 철학적 조망 : 가치철학을 기반으로 (Philosophical Review of Korean Public Informatization Policy)

  • This study reviews Korean public informatization policy implemented in last 20 years from the philosophical perspective and attempts to suggest directions to be considered in the future. To accomplish the research goal, this study first analyzes literature in the relevant areas, including philosophy of value, administrative ideology, and public informatization policy. Second, based on the results of literature review, criteria to analyze the public informatization policy are established. Then, the Korean public informatization policy is analyzed based on the established criteria. Lastly, implications for planning and implementing public informatization policy are suggested. Significance of the study lies in its attempt to examine public informatization policy from the philosophical perspective. However, due to its exploratory nature, this study has limitations including less rigorous measurement instruments, limited source of data, limited number of propositions established. Therefore, further studies are needed in these areas.

과학수업모형들의 특성에 관한 이론적 분석 (Theoretical Analyses of Science Teaching Models)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze science teaching models: Cognitive Conflict Teaching Model(CCTM), Generative Learning Model(GLM), Learning Cycle Model(LCM), Hypothesis-Testing Model(HTM), and Discovery Teaching Model(DTM). Using literature review, the models were analyzed and compared in several aspects; philosophical and psychological bases, primary goals and assumptions, syntax, implementation environments, and probable effects. The major finding were as follows; 1. Science teaching models had been diverse features. In the comparisons of science teaching models, some differences and similarities were founded. These were different in the degree of similarity and emphasis. 2. CCTM and GLM resemble each other in philosophical and psychological bases, primary goals and main assumptions, implementation environments, and probable effects. 3. LCM and HTM showed similarities in philosophical bases, syntax, and implementation environments. But differences were founded in other aspects These results showed that the diverse features of science teaching models should be considered in choosing a model for science teaching.

철학상담과 여성주의상담 (Philosophical Counseling and Feminist Counseling)

  • 최근 철학의 새로운 분야로 부상하고 있는 철학상담은 1981년 아헨바흐(Achenbach)에 의해 '철학실천'이라는 용어로 창안되었다. 철학상담은 상담가인 철학자로 하여금 학계라는 울타리를 벗어나 애초에 실제 삶의 맥락으로부터 시작되었던 '철학함'을 회복시키고자 노력한다. 또한 철학상담은 삶의 위기에 처한 내담자들로 하여금 자신의 삶을 근본적으로 재검토하고 새롭게 직면할 수 있는 기회를 제공함으로써, 그 스스로의 모습을 되찾고, 자신이 원하는 삶을 실현시키기 위해 다시 용기를 내어 걸어갈 수 있도록 독려한다. 이 논문의 목적은 철학상담과 여성주의상담을 비교검토함으로써 한국 여성들을 위한 철학상담의 새로운 모델을 창출하는 데에 필요한 첫 윤곽을 잡아보려는 데에 있다. 우선적으로 2장에서 철학상담의 역사와 특성을 소개한 뒤에, 3장에서 '여성의전화'의 상담활동을 중심으로 한국에서의 여성주의상담이 지나온 역사와 그 특성을 고찰한다. 나아가 4장에서 양자의 내용적인 공통점들을 찾아내어 비교검토하면서 양자를 더욱 심도있게 이해하고 그 관계성을 더욱 촉진시키고자 시도한다. 그리하여 비록 철학상담과 한국 여성주의상담이 서로 다른 역사적, 사회적, 문화적 맥락과 배경에서 시작되었고, 각기 다른 활동영역에서 전개되어왔지만, 다음의 네 가지 공통적인 신념, 즉 '실천이라는 토대에서의 상담', '상담가와 내담자의 평등한 관계의 확립', '상담가의 경청과 자기개방의 중요성', '깊은 존중과 이해에 기반한 내담자의 자기됨과 자기양육'에 근거하고 있음을 밝혀본다. 이와 같이 볼 때, 두 상담 모두가 진정으로 '인간다운 삶'의 실현을 목표로 하고 있음을 알 수 있으며, 특히 철학상담이 앞으로 한국 여성들의 '잘 삶'을 증진시킬 수 있는 구체적인 대화의 기회를 제공할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

과학의 본성에 대한 검사 도구를 활용한 연구의 개관과 분석(1990~2009) (A Review and Analysis of the Studies using Instruments on the Nature of Science(1990~2009))

  • The purpose of this study was to review the current state and characteristics of instruments used to assess individual understanding of the nature of science (NOS). This study conducted a series of content analyses of the articles published in a total of seven Korean and international journals from 1990 to 2009. A total of 99 research papers and assessment tools were categorized according to their features such as item type, the method of development, philosophical perspectives and others. So, evaluation domains of the instruments were also compared with the features of the NOS endorsed in some standards science education documents internationally well known, such as Benchmarks for Science Literacy (AAAS, 1993), National Science Education Standards (NRC, 1996). It was found that VNOS was the most frequently used instrument used for the last 20 years. There was a difference between characteristics of instruments used in Korean journals and these in international journal, such as philosophical perspectives, item type. Moreover, the results showed that there were only a few of instruments to ask about ethics of scientists, significance of science process skill and the context. NOS instruments focused only on limited aspects of NOS emphasized by the standard documents.

한국 근대불교 연구에서의 '근대성'에 대한 비판적 고찰 (A Critical Review of 'Modernity' in Modern Buddhist Studies of Korea)

  • 이 논문은 기존 '한국 근대불교' 연구에서 사용하는 '근대' 및 '근대성'에 의문을 제기하고, 비판적으로 검토하여, 나름의 대답을 마련하는데 그 목표가 있다. 이 과정에서 우리는 '한국근대불교/학' 연구 담론에서 그동안 본격적인 논의가 없었던 '근대'와 '근대성'의 특징들을 서구의 역사적 흐름 속에서 해명하고, 이를 토대로 한국적 조건에서의 '근대'란 과연 무엇인지, 그리고 더 나아가서는 한국적 조건에서 과연 '근대' 혹은 '근대성'을 발견하는 것이 가능한 것인지에 대해 의문을 제기한다. 마지막으로 이 글은 이러한 검토를 기반으로 하여, 기존의 '한국근대불교'에 대한 연구들이 '근대'에 대하여 언급해 온 부분을 비판적으로 검토 및 계승함으로써, '한국근대불교' 연구가 진행되는 과정에서 그것이 '근대'와 관련하여 반드시 염두에 두어야 하는 전제가 무엇인지를 모색해 보고자 한다.

  • 교육과정의 전면적인 개정이 필요함을 인식하면서도 개정 시점에 이르러서 컴퓨터 교과의 개정 시안이 만들어질 때 까지 국가적인 차원에서 교육수요자의 만족감을 제고하고, 국가 사회적 요구를 반영한 교육과정에 중점을 둔, 교육과정에 대한 철학적 관점과 교육 심리학적 관점에 대한 검토 없이 개정 시안이 만들어지고 있다. 따라서 교육체제의 변화에 대응 및 교육과정 확립을 위하여 신 구 교육과정을 교육과정의 철학적 관점과 심리학적 관점에서 비교 분석한 결과 개정 교육과정의 철학적 관점은 학문중심 교육과정으로, 학습이론별 지식관에서는 구성주의와 인지주의 중심으로 목표가 정의되어 있음을 알 수 있었다.

아동간호의 본질적 토대와 사명에 관한 논고(論考) (A Critical Discussion on the Academic Fundamentals and the Missions of Child Health Nursing)

  • Purpose: To reilluminate academic fundamentals and missions of child health nursing (CHN). Methods: Critical review of literature. Results & Conclusion: The academic fundamentals of CHN were analyzed for three different basis; philosophical, theoretical, and legal & ethical basis. The philosophical basis of CHN was summarized as six beliefs; A child is an important human resource and a valuable asset for future society; A child should be respected as a unique and dignified human being; A child has his/her own unique developmental needs; A child is a vulnerable client and should be advocated for; Atraumatic care should be provided to each child; Child health care should be family-centered. The essence of the theoretical basis were reilluminated into caring theory and client advocacy theory. The legal basis of CHN was stated as pertaining to the various child-related laws and international conventions, such as UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The ethical basis were stated as 4 principles of biomedical ethics and The UNESCO Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights. The mission of the CHN was stated and the role of CHN was described as one who is a child rights advocator, professional caring service provider, policy maker, health educator, researcher.

Videogames in Cybersecurity: Philosophical and Psychological Review of Possible Impact

  • An issue of security and threat is urgent as well as it concerns everyone: a person, community, state, etc. Today, the question of cybersecurity has become especially relevant due to general digitalization and the spread of the cyberculture. In terms of it, the growing popularity of videogames can be observed. Their impact on society differs significantly, therefore, it needs thorough consideration. The purpose of the article is to disclose the role of videogames in cybersecurity. To achieve the stated purpose, such methods as analysis, synthesis, systematization and practical involvement of videogames have been used. As a result, three levels of possible threat of videogames has been distinguished: videogames as a possibly dangerous software, as a tool of propaganda and spread of stereotypes, as a space for the creation of virtual communities. In conclusion, it is stated that videogames can be not only a threat, but also a tool for strengthening the cybersecurity.

정밀의료를 위한 자기추적기술과 개인의 자율성 (Self-tracking Technology and Personal Autonomy for Personalized Healthcare)

  • 본 본문은 자기추적기술을 기반으로 하는 정밀의료 시대에 자율성 존중 논의를 본격적으로 하기 전에, 존중의 대상이 되는 자율성 개념, 즉 협의생명의료윤리적 자율성과 관계적 자율성을 검토하는 것이 그 목적이다. 먼저 협의의 생명의료윤리적 자율성(narrow bioethical autonomy)으로 규정되는 탐 비첨(Tom Beauchamp)과 제임스 췰드리스(James Childress)가 제시하는 자율성 논의를 검토를 통해서, 자율성 개념의 범위를 확장할 필요성이 있음을 밝힐 것이다. 그런 다음에 협의의 자율성 보다 확장된 광의 자율성으로써 관계적 자율성이 새로운 상황에서 윤리적 지침을 형성하는 대상으로 적합한 자율성 개념임을 제시하고자 한다.
