  • The dielectric properties of $Ba_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}TiO_3$(BST) and MgO-doped BST ceramics were investigated for tunable microwave applications by sol-gel method. The effects of MgO mixing with BST. It is observed that Mg substitution into BST causes a shift in the cubic-tetragonal BST Phase transition peak to a lower temperature. MgO-substituted BST and MgO-mixed phases exhibit homogeneous and broadened BST phase transition peaks. Mg substitution into BST has a significant effect on the grain sife reduction. Dielectric constant and loss is inhanced with decrease MgO dopant.

  • Gas-phase pyrolyses of carbonate esters, ${\alpha}$- and ${\beta}$-hydroxy esters and ${\beta}$-hydroxy ketones have been studied theoretically by the AM1 MO method. Carbonate esters were found to decompose by two types of processes; in the reaction pathway involving an intermediate, the decomposition of the intermediate was rate-limiting, but direct pyrolyses were also possible via a six-membered cyclic transition state in which the methoxy oxygen attacks a hydrogen atom on the ${\beta}$-carbon. The hydroxy esters and ketones were found to decompose in a concerted process involving a six-membered cyclic transition state. Successive methylation on the ${\alpha}$- and ${\gamma}$-carbon led to an increase in the reactivity in agreement with experiments.

  • The gas-phase pyrolysis reactions of iminoethers (Ⅱ), 2-alkoxypyridines (Ⅲ), 2-N-alkylated pyridones (Ⅳ) and N-alkylated acetamides (Ⅴ) have been studied MO theoretically with the AM1 method. The decomposition of these compounds proceeds by a concerted retro-ene process through a six-membered cyclic transition state. The reactivity decreases in the order (Ⅱ) > (Ⅲ) > (Ⅳ) > (Ⅴ), with a greater reactivity for the imine series, (Ⅱ) and (Ⅲ), compared to the amide series, (Ⅳ) and (Ⅴ), and a difference in basicity between the N and O atoms. Within a given series, however, the reactivity is dictated mainly by the aromaticity in the transition state. The reactivity order with respect to side alkyl chain of a species was found to increase as the steric crowding effect increases. The AM1 reactivity in this work agree well with the experimental results.

  • The gas phase pyrolyses of eight esters have been studied by MNDO-MO method. In the ethylformate pyrolysis, ${\alpha}$-methylation had a steric releasing effect whereas ${\beta}$-methylation had a steric crowding in the transition state; the latter, however, is over-compensated by a greater electronic repulsion resulting in a net steric releasing effect. Considerations of formal charges and geometrical changes involved in the activation led us to propose a pyrolysis mechanism in which a preequilibrium of acidic proton transfer is followed by the rate-limiting bond polarization of $C_{\alpha}$-O bond in a cyclic transition state.

  • A new method for the simultaneous determination of seven transition metal ions in water and food by microcolumn high-performance liquid chromatography has been developed. The lead, cadmium, mercury, nickel, cobalt, silver and tin ions were pre-column derivatized with tetra-(4-aminophenyl)-porphyrin ($T_4$-APP) to form the colored chelates which were then enriched by solid phase extraction with $C_{18}$ cartridge. The enrichment factor of 50 was achieved by eluted the retained chelates from the cartridge with tetrahydrofuran (THF). The chelates were separated on a ZORBAX Stable Bound microcolumn ($2.0{\times}50\;mm,\;1.8\;{\mu}m$)with methanol-tetrahydrofuran (95 : 5, v/v, containing 0.05 mol/L pyrrolidine-acetic acid buffer salt, pH = 10.0) as mobile phase at a flow rate of 0.5 mL/min and detected with a photodiode array detector from 350-600 nm. The seven chelates were separated completely within 2.0 min. The detection limits of lead, cadmium, mercury, nickel, cobalt, silver and tin are 4 ng/L, 3 ng/L, 6 ng/L, 5 ng/L, 5 ng/L, 6 ng/L, 4 ng/L respectively in the original samples. This method was applied to the determination of the seven transition metal in water and food samples with good results.

포항분지 전이대에서 천부가스 탐사 (Shallow Gas Exploration in the Pohang Basin Transition Zone)

  • 포항분지 천부가스 탐사를 위해 육상과 해상이 연결되는 전이대에서 탄성파 탐사 방법을 제안하고 탐사를 수행하였다. 해저면 환경, 육상 탐사 환경을 고려하여 탐사를 설계하였다. 육상노드 수진기는 육상에만 설치하였고 육상에서는 바이브로사이스 음원을, 해양에서는 에어건 음원을 이용하여 자료를 취득하였다. 전이대에서 취득한 탄성파 탐사자료의 경우 육상탐사와 해상탐사 간의 정확한 연계를 위해 신중한 자료 취득과 처리 과정이 필요하다. 음원 종류에 따른 진폭과 위상변화를 고려하고, 음원위치에 따른 정적보정을 적용한 자료처리를 통해 지층단면도에서 반사파 연속성이 유지되게 하였다. 자료처리 결과 육상과 해상의 지층구조가 연결된 탄성파 지층단면도를 확보하고 포항분지 천부 가스층 탐사에 활용하고자 하였다. 전이대에서 탄성파 탐사는 천부가스뿐만 아니라 연안지역 단층대 조사에도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • PMN계에서 유전적 성질에 관한 연구들은 광범위하게 이루어져 왔으나 전계인가 변위특성에 관한 폭넓은 연구는 매우 드물다. 본 연구에서는 완화형 강유전체의 가장 대표적인 PMN계에서 PT의 함량 및 측정 온도의 변화에 따른 유전적 성질 및 전계인가 변위특성을 광범위하게 조사하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 전형적인 columbite precur-sor법에 의해 분말을 준비하고 고상소결방법에 의하여 모든 시편을 제조하였다. PT의 함량이 증가하면서 직선적으로 (T$\varepsilon$max)가 증가하였으며 유전율은 13000~22000 사이의 값을 보였다. 유전율의 온도 의존성은 PMN의 경우 전형적인 완화형 강유전체의 유전 특성을 보이지만 PT의 함량이 증가될수록 보통 강유전체의 sharp한 거동을 보였다. 전계인가 변위특성에서는 단순히 유전율이 최대가 되는 온도에서 발생 strain이 최대가 되는 것은 아니며 tetragonal-cubic의 phase transition에서는 strain의 증가가 없고 rhombohedral에서 tetragonal 혹은 rhombohed-ral에서 cubic으로의 상전이에서만 strain이 크게 나타남을 알 수 있었다.

고위험 신생아 어머니의 모성전환 과정 (Maternal Transition in Mothers with High Risk Newborns)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was a comprehensive understanding about maternal transition in mothers with high risk newborns according to the degree of situational meaning. Method: A methodological triangulation that combines qualitative and quantitative methods was used. The situational meaning of a high risk newborn mother was identified using a Family Meaning Attribution Scale. According to the degree of situational meaning, in-depth interviews were conducted at 3 time periods postpartum: between 3-10 days after childbirth, around the time of the newborn's discharge, and between 10-12 weeks after childbirth. Quantitative data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test. Qualitative data was analyzed using Tutty, Rothery, & Grinnell's methodology. Result: The average score of the situational meaning in high the risk newborn mother was 53.57(possible score is between 0-96) and the average score of each item was 1.67. A Maternal transition process in the mother that has a positive situational meaning was conceptualized in three distinctive phases: confusion, accepting, and shaping phases. The Maternal transition process in the mother that has a negative situational meaning was also conceptualized in three distinctive phases: avoiding, conflicting, and accepting phases. Conclusion: It is necessary that the nurses provide high risk newborn mothers with individualized care considering both the situational meaning that is attributed to them and the maternal transition phase that they are faced with.

유도 전동기 센서리스 제어를 위한 동기 각속도 오차 보상기를 갖는 향상된 Programmable LPF 자속 추정기 (Improved Programmable LPF Flux Estimator with Synchronous Angular Speed Error Compensator for Sensorless Control of Induction Motors)

  • This paper proposes an improved stator flux estimator through ensuring conventional PLPF to act as a pure integrator for sensorless control of induction motors. Conventional PLPF uses the estimated synchronous speed as a cut-off frequency and has the gain and phase compensators. The gain and phase compensators are determined on the assumption that the estimated synchronous angular speed is coincident with the real speed. Therefore, if the synchronous angular speed is not same as the real speed, the gain and phase compensation will not be appropriate. To overcome the problem of conventional PLPF, this paper analyzes the relationship between the synchronous speed error and the phase lag error of the stator flux. Based on the analysis, this paper proposes the synchronous speed error compensation scheme. To achieve a start-up without speed sensor, the current model is used as the stator flux estimator at the standstill. When the motor starts up, the current model should be switched into the voltage model. So a stable transition between the voltage model and the current model is required. This paper proposes the simple transition method which determines the initial values of the voltage model and the current model at the transition moment. The validity of the proposed schemes is proved through the simulation results and the experimental results.

$K_2Zn_{1-X}Co_XCl_4$ 결정 성장 및 상전이에 관한 연구 (A study of crystal growth and phase transition in $K_2Zn_{1-X}Co_XCl_4$ mixed crystal)

  • $(A_{1-x}A^'_x)_2ZnCl_4$혼정에서 C-IC 상전이가 A' ions의 pinning 효과에 의해 x의 증가에 따라 사라지는 것은 알려져 왔다. 본 연구에서 우리는 C상에서 polarization 방향이 파괴되지 않고 IC상에서 long range ordering을 유지하는 새로운 혼정인 $K_2Zn_{1-X}Co_XCl_4$결정을 소개한다. 우리는 Czochralski법으로 여러비율에 대한 (x=0, 0.001, 0.005, 0.01, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1) $K_2Zn_{1-X}Co_XCl_4$혼정을 육성하였으며 육성된 결정의 성분분석, 열적분석 및 x에 따른 C-IC 상전이의 존재를 확인하였다.
