A VPN is widely used in a communications environment which access is controlled to permit peer connections only within a defined community of interest. It is constructed through some form of partitioning of a common underlying communication medium, where this underlying communications medium provides services to the network on a non-exclusive basis. In this paper, we have analyzed a variety of architecture to implement Giga bps VPN system. The proposed architecture will satisfy the needs of clients who adopt Giga bps VPN system in the various environments.

For the variable speed in automatic control, this paper describes, at first, performance equations of an induction motor which has the free rotating stator. This motor with rotating stator has a speed control factor itself by equivalent variable frequency in stator side. Secondly, an additional invertor source on the rotor slip ring serves the purpose of improving the speed control factor. The advantages decribed above permit to control the speed continuosly from zero to maximum allowable speed with low energy of thyristor a feed-back device may be used for speed stabilization under variable load.

This paper presents adaptive add-on control algorithms for theconventional mode of operation of MEMS z-axis gyroscopes. This scheme is realized by adding an outer loop to a conventional force-balancing scheme that includes a parameter estimation algorithm. The parameter adaptation algorithm estimates the angular rate, identifies and compensates the quadrature error, and may permit on-line automatic mode tuning. The convergence and resolution analysis show that the proposed adaptive add-on control scheme prevents the angular rate estimate from being contaminated by the quadrature error, while keeping ideal resolution performance of a conventional force-balancing scheme.

In this paper, a kinematic optimal design of a new paralleltype rolling mill based upon two Stewart platforms manipulator is investigated. The objective of this new parallel-type rolling mill is to permit an integrated control of the strip thickness, strip shape, pair crossing angle, uniform wear of the rolls, and tension of the strip. A manipulability measure, as the ratio of the manipulability ellipsoid volume and the condition number of a split Jacobian matrix, is defined. Two kinematic parameters, the radius of the base and the angle between two neighboring joints, are optimally designed by maximizing the global manipulability measure in the entire workspace.

It has been estimated the total factor productivity(TFP)of the city of Seoul. Average TFP growth rate during 1974-1992 has been estimated as 0.0602. TFP growth rate has been decreased from 0.0804 of 1970's to 0.0561 of 1980 and 1990's Factsro affecting the TFP are found to be core infrastructure, capital stock and land price growth rate. High land price growth rate depresses the TFP growth rate. During 1989, due to the high land price growth rate and extremely low building costruction permit TFP rate has been estimated as negative.

Aoun and Li (1989) and Hornstein (1995) suggest that the cross-linguistic contrast in quantifier scope between English and East Asian languages is attributed to the parametric difference in the base subject position, viz. VP-internal position in English and Spec IP in East Asian languages. This paper argues that their suggestion is untenable, and that the cross linguistic contrast in question is due to the parametric difference that English permits and East Asian languages do not permit (overt) object shift.

In this paper, the noise contribution to the permit tivity profile reconstructed by the spectral inverse scattering scheme is investigated and a low-pass filter is proposed to reduce such the noise effects. Numerical simulations showed that the reconstructed profiles are affected by extremely large error. The suggested low-pass filter made it possible to reconstruct the permittivity profile nearly similar to the original. Furthermore, the optimal condition to the low-pass filter agreed well with the physical meaning even if several variables involved in the inverse scattering scheme were changed.

This paper analyzes the performance of a rectangular dielectric ceramic antenna by the theoretical cavity model such as input impedance resonant frequency quality factor efficiency and bandwidth. Through a compu-ter simulation variation of the antenna characteristics is found as a function of the antenna parametes. (permit-tivity permeability antenna size etc) Based on the results we propose a new design method for the dielectric ceramic antenna to be employed in Global Positioning Systems.
