Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine rate of breastfeeding practice at 3 months and to examine predictors for breastfeeding practice. Method: Study subjects were 114 mothers who gave birth at one hospital in Busan area. Data regarding breastfeeding practice and potentially related factors to breastfeeding were collected through a self-administered questionaire at 1 weeks and a telephone survey at 3 months. Logistic regression was used to identifiy significant the predictors on breastfeeding practice. Result: Rate of breastfeeding practice was 46.5% at three months of postpartum. The significant predictors for performing breastfeeding were lower the experience of breastfeeding trouble problem(OR=.88 compared with breastfeeding women, 95% CI; 78-.99), higher first breastfeeding satisfaction (OR=1.81 compared with non-breastfeeding women, 95% CI; 1.08-3.32), higher breastfeeding confidence(OR=1.84 compared with non-breastfeeding women, 95% CI; 1.08-3.32). Conclusion: The findings suggest the necessity of support program for mothers during the positive postpartum period to provide correct information about breastfeeding knowledge and attitude and to teach problem-solving skills for any breastfeeding problems for highere rate of breastfeeding practice

사회시스템이나 경제시스템 같이 동적으로 변하는 시스템에서는 그 구성원들 간에 복잡한 상호작용(행동)이 나타나게 되는데 구성원들의 행동은 변화하는 환경에 따라 적응하는 경향을 보인다. 그리고 이들의 행동양상은 흔히 생물학 분야의 조건반사에 비유되기도 한다. 본 논문에서는 복잡한 사회 현상을 모델링하고 분석하기 위하여 반복적 죄수의 딜레마 게임 상에서 에이전트들의 전략적 연합을 통하여 변화하는 환경에 잘 적응하는 일반화 능력이 우수한 에이전트들을 자동 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 에이전트에 신뢰도를 부여하여 연하의 의사결정에 참가하게 함으로써 일반화 성능을 향상시키는 방법을 소개한다 실험결과, 전략적 연합을 이용하여 진화된 에이전트들은 테스트 에이전트들에 비하여 일반화 성능이 우수함을 확인할 수 있었다.

Purpose: The role of medical staff gained immense significance in the context of the prolonged coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. However, few studies had explored the impact of simulation-based education on the ability of nursing students to care for the patients of COVID-19. This study provided nursing students with simulation-based education in caring for the patients of COVID-19 and confirmed its effectiveness. Methods: This study used a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The participants were recruited from the nursing departments of two universities in Korea through convenience sampling. A total of 79 participants were included: 37 in the intervention group and 42 in the control group. The intervention group received four sessions of simulation training based on the National League for Nursing Jeffries simulation theory. Results: The intervention group showed an improvement compared to the control group in terms of knowledge related to coronavirus, confidence in performing infection control skills, and perception of preparedness for caring for the patients of COVID-19, with a high-level of satisfaction and self-confidence in learning. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of anxiety. Conclusion: This simulation is expected to be a significant strategy for alleviating the global burden in terms of staff safety and patient outcomes by improving the competencies of prospective medical staff in responding to pandemics.

Purpose: Advanced airway maintenance improves the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients. In this study, we evaluate the factors associated with advanced airway management while performing CPR for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients by 119 emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Methods: The observational analysis method was used ro retrospectively collect data from 119 rescue run sheets. This study was conducted in a fire station in Seoul, Korea. The subjects of this study were defined as OHCA patients who received CPR from July 2016 to June 2018. We divided the subjects into two groups according to whether advanced airway maintenance was performed or not, and then compared and analyzed both groups. We performed logistic regression analyses for characteristics that differed significantly between groups. Results: Out of 188 OHCA patients, 146 (77.7%) had received advanced airway management. Statistically significant differences in the logistic analysis were found regarding the total number of EMT professionals (adjusted odds ration [aOR]: 1.955; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.227-3.115; p=0.005) and scene-time (aOR:1.119;95%CI:1.019-1.228;p=0.019). Conclusion: Advanced airway maintenance while performing CPR for OHCA patients by EMT associated primarily with ensuring an adequate numbers of EMT professionals and sufficient scene time.

Objective: Performing high quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is important for improving the survival rate with a good neurological outcome and fewer complications. The retention of accurate CPR knowledge is essential for providing high quality CPR. This study examined the effects of chest compression only CPR training on the retention of correct CPR knowledge. Methods: In December 2016, an interview survey to target the study population was conducted by trained interviewers, using a structured questionnaire. The respondents' general characteristics, status of CPR education, and knowledge and willingness regarding CPR were investigated. Pearson's chi-square tests and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to determine which education-related factors affected the correct skill knowledge of performing CPR. Results: Among the respondents, there are 80 persons (17.4%) who answered correctly in the questions regarding the skills of performing CPR. The respondents who had a willingness to perform CPR to family and strangers were 90.2% and 44.9% respectively. Through multivariable analysis, the factors related to correct skill knowledge in performing CPR in the didactic with practice group were people who had undergone CPR training within 2 years (odds ratio [OR], 2.293; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.311-4.009), and person who had undergone chest compression only CPR training (OR, 2.044; 95% CI, 1.033-4.042). Conclusion: Chest compression only type of CPR training and the experience of CPR education within 2 years were associated with accurate skill knowledge of performing CPR.

This paper discusses the application of Bayesian techniques with test data on similar products for performing the Economical Reliability Test of new one-shot device. Using the test data on similar products, reliability test required lower sample size currently being spent in order to demonstrate a target reliability with a specified confidence level. Furthermore, lower sample size reduces cost, time and various resources on reliability test. In this paper, we use similarity as calculating weight of similar products and analyze similarity between new and similar product for comparison of the essential function.

The COMS(Communication, Ocean & Meteorological Satellite)is the geostationary satellite which will be performing three main objectives such as meteorological service, ocean monitoring and Ka-band satellite communications. This paper presents the analysis of the electromagnetic radiated compatibility between COMS satellite and the ARIANE 5 launch vehicle. As a conclusion, a good level of confidence can be given at present time to demonstrate the compatibility between the spacecraft and the launcher, and vice versa. No threat has been identified regarding the other units powered during launch mode.

This study aimed to investigate how EFL learners perceived English writing tasks and teachers' written feedback. The subjects were 82 mixed major college EFL students aged 19-24; the majority were freshmen females. Based on the scores estimated from the essay evaluation test, they were placed into two groups (proficienand less-proficient writers) and responded to an in-class questionnaire. The results indicated that: (1) regardless of writing proficiency, a large number of the students felt that they were just fair writers, which could be derived from low confidence and high anxiety; (2) grammar and vocabulary were perceived as the main features that determined good EFL writers and also prevented the students from performing the writing task successfully; (3) they believed that teachers' feedback contributed to the development of their English writing skills because it helped them apprehend what to improve or avoid in the future, acquire better English usage, and correct their errors; and (4) the proficient writers were more willing to correct errors themselves after being provided clues than the less-proficient writers. Implications of the findings for EFL classrooms are discussed.

This paper presents a spreadsheet-based reliability prediction simulation framework for the conceptual product design stage to acquire system reliability information in timely manner. During early stage, reliability performance deals with both known and unknown failure rates and component-level and subsystem-level failure estimate to predict system reliability. A technique for performing life testing simulation using Excel spreadsheet has been developed under the such circumstances. This paper also discuss the results obtainable from this method such as reliability estimate, mean and variance of failures and confidence intervals. The resultant of this reliability prediction system is mainly benefitting small and medium-sized enterprise's field engineers.

This study is to show the importance of customer and to define the customer's meaning in food industry. According to previous research, a consumer is a very small part of customer. At present and in the future, a customer is not only a consumer but all of interior and exterior environments related to a company. However the scope of customer has been extended eventually. Therefore, it is important for a company to find out and secure the proper customer giving profit. This study considers a relative marketing as a way to impress a customer. It is a useful marketing technology to make profits and company's growth. And to achieve a relative marketing successfully, it is necessary to perceive a fundamental understanding and building an organization for workers. Therefore, this study propose that a company would accomplish followings to continue a quality growth. First, Understanding and confidence about workers. Second, Building the culture of a company's organization impressive to a customer Third, Continuing effort and interest ing about service. In conclusion, a company will accomplish a customer satisfaction successfully through developing a service organization and performing relative marketing.
