머신러닝을 활용한 제품 특성 예측모델의 성능향상 방법 연구 (The methods to improve the performance of predictive model using machine learning for the quality properties of products)

  • 제조 생산공정에는 다양한 센서를 통해 실시간으로 양질의 데이터가 데이터베이스에 축적되고 있다. 이와 함께 통계적으로 접근하기 까다로운 데이터에 대해서 높은 수준의 정확도로 예측모델을 구축할 수 있는 머신러닝이 보급되면서 '4차 산업화 시대'를 맞이하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 제조업계의 흐름에 따라 업계의 주요 관심사인 제품의 품질특성을 예측하는 머신러닝 모델의 성능을 향상하는 방법을 제시한다. 머신러닝 모델의 성능을 향상하는데 일반적으로 사용되는 샘플 크기의 증가, Hyper-Parameter의 최적화 및 적절한 알고리즘 선택의 효과를 검증한다. 그리고, 새로운 성능향상 방법을 제시하고, 그 효과를 검증해본다. 논문에서 제시한 방법을 통해서 제조업에서는 더욱 향상된 성능의 예측모델을 구축, 품질예측과 관리에 크게 이바지할 수 있을 것이다.

균형성과표를 활용한 전자의무기록시스템의 성과측정 모형개발 (Development of the Performance Measurement Model of Electronic Medical Record System - Focused on Balanced Score Card -)

  • The purpose of this study are suggest to performance measurement model of Electronic Medical Record(EMR) and Key Performance Index(KPI). For data collection, 665 questionnaires were distributed to medical record administrators and insurance reviewers at 31 hospitals, and 580 questionnaires were collected(collection rate: 87.2%). Regarding methodology, Critical Success Factor(CSF) and index of the information system were derived based on previous studies, and these were set as performance measurement factors of EMR system. The performance measurement factors were constructed by perspective using BSC, and analysis on causal relationship between factors was conducted. A model of causal relationship was established, and performance measurement model of EMR system was proposed through model validation. Analysis on causal relationship between performance management factors revealed that utility cognition of the learning & growth perspective factor had causal relationship with job efficiency(${\beta}=0.20$) and decision support(${\beta}=0.66$) of the internal process perspective factors, and security had causal relationship with system satisfaction(${\beta}=0.31$) of the customer perspective factor. System quality had causal relationship with job efficiency(${\beta}=0.66$) and decision support(${\beta}=0.76$) of the internal process perspective factors, all of which were statistically significant(P<0.01). Job efficiency of the internal process perspective had causal relationship with system satisfaction(${\beta}=0.43$), and decision support had causal relationship with decision support satisfaction(${\beta}=0.91$) and job satisfaction (${\beta}=0.74$), all of which were statistically significant(P<0.01). System satisfaction of the customer perspective had causal relationship with job satisfaction(${\beta}=0.12$), job satisfaction had causal relationship with cost reduction(${\beta}=0.53$) of the financial perspective, and decision support satisfaction had causal relationship with productivity improvement(${\beta}=0.40$)of the financial perspective(P<0.01). Also, cost reduction of the financial perspective had causal relationship with productivity improvement(${\beta}=0.37$), all which were statistically significant(P<0.05). Suitability index verification of the performance measurement model whose causal relationship was found to be statistically significant revealed that $X^2/df=2.875$, RMR=0.036, GFI=0.831, AGFI=0.810, CFI=0.887, NFI=0.838, IFI=0.888, RMSEA=0.057, PNFI=0.781, and PCFI=0.827, all of which were in suitable levels. In conclusion, the performance measurement indices of EMR system include utility cognition, security, and system quality of the learning & growth perspective, decision support and job efficiency of the internal process perspective, system satisfaction, decision support satisfaction, and job satisfaction of the customer perspective, and productivity improvement and cost reduction of the financial perspective. In this study, it is expected that the performance measurement indices and model of EMR system which are suggested by the author, will be a measurement tool available for system performance measurement of EMR system in medical institutions.

대학도서관 성과지표 모형 개발을 위한 상대적 가중치 연구 (A Study on the Relative Weights for the Development of University Library Performance Indicator Model)

  • 최근에 국내 일부 대학과 대학도서관에서는 경영혁신의 일환으로 성과관리시스템을 구축하고 있으며, 이를 위해 BSC를 도입했거나 도입을 고려하고 있다. 따라서 BSC를 적용하여 대학도서관 성과의 측정도구인 성과지표를 개발하고, 개발된 성과지표의 상대적 가중치를 산정하여 대학도서관의 사명달성과 성과제고에 어떠한 성과지표가 중요한지 분석할 필요성이 있다. 또한, 성과지표는 개발 과정에서 개발 주체의 특성과 관점에 따라 영향을 받는다. 그러므로 성과지표에 대한 상대적 가중치 부여에 있어 전문가집단 간 차이를 분석할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구는 BSC 기반 대학도서관 성과지표 모형을 도출하고, 도출된 성과지표 모형의 평가요소별 중요도와 성과지표 모형에 대한 상대적 가중치 부여에 있어 전문가집단 간 차이를 분석한 연구이다.

Knowledge, Perceptions, and Self-reported Performance of Hand Hygiene Among Registered Nurses at Community-based Hospitals in the Republic of Korea: A Cross-sectional Multi-center Study

  • Objectives: To assess the nurses' hand hygiene (HH) knowledge, perception, attitude, and self-reported performance in small- and medium-sized hospitals after Middle East Respiratory Syndrome outbreak. Methods: The structured questionnaire was adapted from the World Health Organization's survey. Data were collected between June 26 and July 14, 2017. Results: Nurses showed scores on knowledge ($17.6{\pm}2.5$), perception ($69.3{\pm}0.8$), self-reported HH performance of non-self ($86.0{\pm}11.0$), self-reported performance of self ($88.2{\pm}11.0$), and attitude ($50.5{\pm}5.5$). HH performance rate of non-self was $Y_1=36.678+0.555X_1$ (HH performance rate of self) (adjusted $R^2=0.280$, p<0.001). The regression model for performance was $Y_4=18.302+0.247X_{41}(peception)+0.232X_{42}(attitude)+0.875X_{42}(role model)$; coefficients were significant statistically except attitude, and this model significant statistically (adjusted $R^2=0.191$, p<0.001). Conclusions: Advanced HH education program would be developed and operated continuously. Perception, attitude, role model was found to be a significant predictors of HH performance of self. So these findings could be used in future HH promotion strategies for nurses.

의료기관 TQM 활동, 보상 공정성과 성과간의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relationships among TQM Activities, Compensation Equity, and Performance in Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among TQM activities, compensation equity, and performance in hospitals. This study was designed to construct a structural equation model of TQM activities, compensation equity, and performance. Method: The subjects were 239 personnels working in four hospitals in Daegu and Gyeongpook. Data were collected using structured questionnaire from October 4, 2007 to February 4, 2008. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 5.0 program. Result: The overall fitness of the structural equation model was evaluated. These results showed that the model was adequate. TQM activities directly influenced organizational performance and indirectly influenced organizational performance through compensation equity. Conclusion: In testing the structural equation model, the findings showed that TQM activities and compensation equity were important factors for improving organizational performance. Therefore, to improve performance, the hospital leaders must establish the strategies to facilitate TQM activities. It is also necessary to establish effective reward and performance appraisal systems to induce positive participation of personnels in hospitals.

A Simple Model for TCP Loss Recovery Performance over Wireless Networks

  • There have been a lot of approaches to evaluate and predict transmission control protocol (TCP) performance in a numerical way. Especially, under the recent advance in wireless transmission technology, the issue of TCP performance over wireless links has come to surface. It is because TCP responds to all packet losses by invoking congestion control and avoidance algorithms, resulting in degraded end-to-end performance in wireless and lossy systems. By several previous works, although it has been already proved that overall TCP performance is largely dependent on its loss recovery performance, there have been few works to try to analyze TCP loss recovery performance with thoroughness. In this paper, therefore, we focus on analyzing TCP's loss recovery performance and have developed a simple model that facilitates to capture the TCP sender's behaviors during loss recovery period. Based on the developed model, we can derive the conditions that packet losses may be recovered without retransmission timeout (RTO). Especially, we have found that TCP Reno can retransmit three packet losses by fast retransmits in a specific situation. In addition, we have proved that successive three packet losses and more than four packet losses in a window always invoke RTO easily, which is not considered or approximated in the previous works. Through probabilistic works with the conditions derived, the loss recovery performance of TCP Reno can be quantified in terms of the number of packet losses in a window.

  • In this paper, we deal with the model to reward researchers' performance. The rewards which disregarded the preference of researchers don't satisfy researchers, but cause, only conflicts. In order to increase the researchitivity by resolving these researchers' conflicts, we design a new model on the performance rewarding system. For this purpose, we investigate preference structure on the reward of researchers by the$\ulcorner$conjoint analysis$\lrcorner$. And we propose some reasonable and practical programs to reward performance on the basis of the investigation..

  • Circulating fluided bed(CFB) furnace which can use a variety of low-grade fuels because of high heat capacity and good mixing characteristic in its furnace have turned out to be effective system. There is no many research to predict performance considering total boiler system with water-steam side. Most of performance prediction model have focused on hydrodynamics or chemical mechanism in furnace. so, This study is aimed to develop performance prediction model which consider water-steam side.

  • Face recognition technology has lately attracted considerable attention because of its non-intrusiveness, usability and applicability. Related companies insist that their commercial products show the recognition rates more than 95% according to their self-testing. But, the rates cannot be admitted as official recognition rates. So, performance evaluation methods and tools are necessary to objectively measure the accuracy and performance of face recognition systems. In this paper, I propose a reference model for biometrics recognition evaluation tools, and implement an evaluation tool for the face recognition system based on the proposed reference model.

  • In this study. an off-design performance prediction program for centrifugal pumps is developed. To estimate the losses in an impeller flow passage, two-zone model and two-element in series(TEIS) model are used. At impeller exit. the mixing process occurs with an increase in entropy. In two-zone model. there are both primary zone and secondary zone for an isentropic core flow and an average of all non-isentropic streamtubes respectively. The level of the core flow diffusion in an impeller was calculated by using TEIS model. While internal losses in an impeller an automatically estimated by using the above models, some empirical correlations far estimating external losses. far example, disk friction loss, recirculation loss and leakage loss are used. In order to analyze the vaneless diffuser flow. the momentum equations for the radial and tangential directions are used and solved together with continuity and energy equations.
