The primary goal of therapeutic intervention in dysarthric speakers is to increase the speech intelligibility. Decision of critical features to increase the intelligibility is very important in speech therapy. The purpose of this study is to know the effects of pitch increasing training (PIT) on speech of a subject with Parkinson's disease (PD). The PIT program is focused on increasing pitch while a vowel is sustained with the same loudness. The loudness level is somewhat higher than that of the habitual loudness. A 67-year-old female with PD participated in the study. Speech therapy was conducted for 4 sessions (200 minutes) for one week. Before and after the treatment, acoustic, perceptual and speech naturalness evaluation was peformed for data analysis. Speech and voice satisfaction index (SVSI) was obtained after the treatment. Results showed Improvements in voice quality and speech naturalness. In addition, the patient's satisfaction ratings (SVSI) indicated a positive relationship between improved speech production and their (the patient and care-givers) satisfaction.

In this paper, we propose a parallelization method for a High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) deblocking filter with transform unit (TU) split information. HEVC employs a deblocking filter to boost perceptual quality and coding efficiency. The deblocking filter was designed for data-level parallelism. In this paper, we demonstrate a method of distributing equal workloads to all cores or threads by anticipating the deblocking filter complexity based on the coding unit depth and TU split information. We determined that the average time saving of our proposed deblocking filter parallelization method has a speed-up factor that is 2% better than that of the uniformly distributed parallel deblocking filter, and 6% better than that of coding tree unit row distribution parallelism. In addition, we determined that the speed-up factor of our proposed deblocking filter parallelization method, in terms of percentage run-time, is up to 3.1 compared to the run-time of the HEVC test model 12.0 deblocking filter with a sequential implementation.

An evaluation of voice disorder has two methods. One is a perceptual analysis and the other is an acoustic analysis. All of these methods are just focused on sustained vowel. The analysis of conversational speech levels in voice disorder has not been achieved enough. The purpose of the present study is to compare two syllable words and sustained vowel in the vocal polyp patients and normal male speakers and to be applied on the vocal assessment and the voice therapy as a basic data. fifteen male patients with vocal polyp were the subject group. Fifteen healthy male were the control group for this study. The voices of the subject and control group, saved in MDVP of CSL were analyzed by its own analysis program. As a results, in subject group, the voice qualities between the vowel following lenis stop and the sustained vowel had no differences, and the voice qualities were different significantly between the vowel following heavily aspirated stop and the sustained vowel. In the control group the vowel fllowing stops and sustained vowel had also many differences in their voice quality, especially significant between the vowel following glottal stop and e sustained vowel.

본 논문에서는 ISO/IEC 10918-3(ITU-T REC. T84)로 표준화되어 새롭게 제안된 확장 JPEG의 가변 양자화기를 이용한 영상 부호기를 구현하였다. 인간의 시각은 공간 주파수 감도에 매우 민감하므로 가변 양자화기를 사용하므로서 블록킹 효과를 경감시킬 수 있다. 이 블록킹 효과는 높은 활동도 영역보다 낮은 활동도 영역에서 더 많이 발생된다. 따라서 가변 양자화기의 $8{\times}8$ 기본 블록 단위의 특성을 파악하기 위한 활동도는 공간영역에서 수평 수직 방향 기울기를 이용하여 계산하였다. 구해진 활동도를 가변 양자화기에 적용하기 위해 비선형 양자화 변수를 5단계로 분류하여 낮은 영역에서 좀더 새밀한 양자화가 이루어지도록 하였다. 다양한 영상을 적용하여 시뮬레이션 한 결과 주어진 비트 율에서 주관적으로나 객관적으로 품질이 향상되었다.

본 논문에서는 인터넷을 통한 동영상 오버레이 멀티캐스트 시스템을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템은 실시간 동영상 전송에 적합한 오버레이 멀티캐스트 트리 구성 알고리즘과 H.263+ 부호화율 제어 알고리즘을 고려한다. 오버레이 멀티캐스트 트리는 멀티캐스트 구성원들 간의 평균 시간 지연을 최소화하도록 구성하고, H.263+ 부호화율 제어 알고리즘은 시각적 성능을 향상시키기 위해 공간적, 시각적 품질을 동시에 제어한다. 두 가지 알고리즘은 유기적으로 결합하여 실제 인터넷상에서 효과적인 동영상 오버레이 멀티캐스트 시스템을 구성한다.

This Study intended to provide positioning strategies of brand Image for ladies' ready to wear by analysing the perceptual dimensions of working women. The subjects were devided into two groups according to the fashion involvement, and in each group, a positioning map was composed by use of multidimensional scaling. 251 subjects of this study were gathered into stratified sample groups from working women in Seoul, being subdivided according to their each occupation and age. The data were analysed by frequency, percentage, average, $x^{2}-test$, 1-test, Factor Analysis, cronbach's $\alpha$. Also, KYST, PROFIT, PREFMAP for multidimensional scaling were used. The results were as follows. 1. Two groups were identified according to degree of fashion involvement: high-involvement group, and low-involvement group. 2. From the analysis of the similarity of brand image, high involvement group percieved greater difference in brand image than low involvement group. 3. From the analysis of the evaluation of brand attributes, the evaluations in self expression, fashionability, design, sales promotion activity, sociality, quality, fit showed differences bet-ween high involvement group and low involvement group. 4. From the analysis of the preference of brand image, the distribution of preference and ideal point were different between high involvement group and low involvement group.

본 논문은 인간의 공간 지각 특성을 이용하여 에지를 강조하는 개선된 오차 확산 해프토닝 시스템을 제안한다. 제안방법은 원 화소의 명암값과 $3{\times}3$ 블록의 평균 명암값과의 차이 값에 공간적 위치 값에 따른 가중치를 결합하여 공간 변화량(SV: spatial variation)을 구한다. SV와 국부 평균을 이용하여 계산한 에지 강조 정보량(IEE: information of edge enchancement)을 양자화기 입력에 더하여 해프톤 영상의 에지를 강조한다. 제안방법의 성능은 에지 상관도 평가 함수로 평가했으며 제안방법을 영상에 적용한 결과 이진 영상의 에지가 강조되어 시각적으로 선명한 결과를 보이며 미세한 에지도 잘 보존되었다.

Recently, the Lax Vox voice therapy has been used as one of the SOVTE(Semi-Occluded Vocal Tracts Exercise). The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of Lax Vox voice therapy for a patient with Spasmodic dysphonia on voice improvement. One female spasmodic dysphonia patient(age=27) who had been diagnosed by a laryngologist received Lax Vox voice therapy. The Lax Vox protocol was configured as 5 steps (1 warm-up and 4 steps : bubbling without / with phonation/ gliding with phonation/ generalization) in this study. A total of 11 sessions were performed by a certified speech language pathologist. The present study evaluated the acoustic, aerodynamic, auditory perceptual, and patient's self-rating between pre-, mid-, and post- voice therapy. All objective and subjective parameters were improved after voice therapy; Reduced frequency variation, increased maximum phonation time, enlarged voice range, improved 'G' and 'S' in GRBAS & USDRS, and reduced VHI were observed. Especially, decreased $f_0$ and remarkably reduced voice tremor were also demonstrated following Lax Vox voice therapy. Accordingly, Lax Vox voice therapy technique can be useful for improving voice and quality of life in patients with spasmodic dysphonia.

The present study was performed to investigate adequate levels of utterances which can give essential as well as useful information about the patients' voice, by examining the degrees of correlation between the levels of utterances (vowels, words, and phrase paragraph reading) and the entire utterance including all of the levels. For this purpose, a total of 10 individual utterance samples (5 vowels, 3 words, 1 phrase, 1 paragraph reading) were collected from each of the 30 subjects with voice disorder patients, and four experienced voice therapists evaluated them using GRBAS. The results showed that four therapists highly agreed upon on 'G' parameter. The coefficient of the correlation between each level of utterance and entire utterance tended to be above 0.70. Judgements of the vowel /$\varepsilon$/ as well as /o/ highly correlated with the judgement of the entire utterance. Regardless of severity, the judgement of the entire utterance highly correlated with the judgements of the vowel /u/ and the paragraph reading. These results suggest that experienced voice therapists can precisely evaluate patients' voice quality with only one sustained vowel in the clinic field, as is done with the entire utterance evaluation.

직장이 아닌 곳에서 근무하는 스마트워크는 조직과 조직 구성원 모두에게 도움이 되는 미래지향적인 근무 방식으로 최근 화두가 되고 있다. 본 연구는 콜센터를 운영하고 있는 기업을 대상으로 직장근무자와 스마트워크 근무자간의 서비스풍토, 직무만족, 조직몰입, 서비스수행능력 등 조직 관련 주요 변수에 대한 인식 차이를 조사하였다. 분석 결과, 스마트워크 근무자들이 직장근무자들에 비해 서비스풍토에 대한 인식이나 직무만족이나 조직몰입, 서비스수행능력 등 모든 측면에서 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 스마트워크의 활성화를 위한 시사점과 정책 방안을 제시하였다.
