부산지역 요양병원 영양사의 직무수행도, 중요성인식도 및 직무만족도 (Job Performance, Perception of Job Importance, and Job Satisfaction in Dietitians Working in Geriatric Hospitals in Busan)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the job performance, perception of job importance, and job satisfaction in dietitians working in geriatric hospitals in Busan. A survey was conducted from April 28 to June 30, 2011, and the data were analyzed using the SPSS program. The age of over 41 group showed higher job performance in terms of sanitation and safety management than the age of under 25 group but showed lower job performance in terms of nutrition management than the age of 31~40 group. The subjects who worked for shorter than 2 years at their present jobs showed the lower job performance in terms of menu management and accounting management than the other groups, whereas those who worked in 'over 200 bed' hospitals showed the higher job performance in terms of sanitation and safety management than the others. The subjects who worked for longer than 6 years showed the higher job satisfaction in terms of communication and working environment than the others. Job performance showed a significant positive correlation with perception of job importance, whereas it showed no significant correlation with job satisfaction. More work experience correlated with a higher monthly income, and younger workers showed higher job performance. Younger age and more work experience at a present job correlated with a higher perception of job importance. More work experience at a present job, higher monthly income, and shorter work experience were correlated with higher job satisfaction. These results suggest that it would be effective to adopt training programs for appropriate nutrition service and provide continuous education programs for professional development.

Organizational Justice and the Intent to Share: Knowledge Sharing Practices among Forensic Experts in Turkey

  • Organizational climate and organization culture can be some of the leading factors in hindering knowledge sharing within the organization. It is generally accepted that successful knowledge management practice, including knowledge sharing, comes as a result of a conducive and knowledge sharing friendly environment. Organizations that promote and reward collective work generate a trustful and a more collaborative learning culture. The perception of fairness in an organization has been considered an important indicator of employee behavior, attitude, and motivation. This study investigates organizational justice perception and its impact on knowledge sharing practices among forensic experts in the Turkish National Police. The study findings revealed that senior officers, who are experts in the field, have the strongest organizational justice perception. Meanwhile, noncommissioned officers or technicians bear positive but comparatively weaker feelings about the existence of justice within the organization. The study argues that those who satisfy their career expectations tend to have a higher organizational justice perception.

초등학교 물리적 환경에 대한 교사의 인식 고찰 (A Study on the Teachers' Perception on the Physical environment of Elementary School)

  • In general, teachers' perceptions on the physical environment of elementary school are related on the quality of education and school life. But, we don't have study what teachers think of their enviroment of school. This study analyzed elementary school teachers' satisfaction with overall physical environment and their assessment of spaces with specific functions in order to understand teachers' perception of the physical environment of elementary schools. A survey questionnaire was administered to 982 homeroom teachers working at 67 elementary schools located in Seoul and Busan. Teachers' satisfaction with physical environment of school and their assessment were analyzed comparatively according to the teachers' personal attributes and school conditions. 1) Most of the surveyed teachers were satisfied with overall physical environment of the school, and assessed high the substantiality of functional spaces indoor and outdoor. By sub-factor, however, their satisfaction with work environment was lower than that with education and living environment. 2) The teachers perceived that the optimal number of classes was 30~36, and this is probably because they were relatively accustomed to large scale schools. 3) As might be expected, negative assessments were more frequent among teachers working at a large-scale school, an old school, or a school with small outdoor spaces. The results of this study show that, though partially different according to region, gender, teaching experience and school condition, teachers' satisfaction with school environment was relatively high. This suggests that elementary school teachers perceive their current school environment positively. Because they are accustomed to traditional education methods that have been maintained.

항공사 비대면 서비스 품질에 대한 이용자 인식 연구 (Examining User Perception about Airline Untact Service Quality)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore dimensions to improve airline non-face-to-face(untact) service quality and identify shadow work dimensions in the digital environment among them. Methods: This study conducted mixed method. First of all, For finding out the dimensions of airline untact service quality, in-depth interviews were conducted from passengers. The collected data through the survey were analyzed using improved importance-performance analysis(IPA). Second, An online survey was conducted to quantitatively analyze user perception about airline untact service quality, and the importance performance of service quality at each dimension was identified through the revised IPA method. Results: The results of this study are as follows; Through in-depth interviews, 11 dimensions found out and 32 measurement items were developed. and then, through the revised IPA analysis, passengers were highly satisfied with "Cleanliness of in-flight service" and "Reliability of self check-in". Also, We found 3 shadow work dimensions such as "Ease of use of self check-in", "Usefulness of self check-in", and "Responsiveness of self check-in". Conclusion: Airline service providers have to keep high-satisfaction services and urgently improve less satisfied services. In particular, the dimensions related to shadow work have to be improved.

대안학교 교사의 생태중심주의 환경교육에 대한 인식 조사 (Survey on the Korean Alternative School Teachers' Perception of Ecocentric Environmental Education)

  • In this study, the Korean alternative school teachers' perceptions of ecocentric environmental education were surveyed. A total of 80 teachers from 42 alternative schools across the nation answered to the survey. The results were as follows. Teachers were found to have a lot of interest in environmental issues and to practice some environmental actions inside and outside school. Over sixty percent teachers agreed with the ecocentric philosophy of environmental education. The most two important issues among 11 environmental education contents for teachers were "natural environment" and "environmental ethics". Teachers used and preferred "field work" for teaching environmental issues, and got teaching materials mostly from the internet. However, many of them were not satisfied with environmental activity in their schools because of their lack of professionalism. They had not enough experience of professional development for environmental education, and strongly wanted to learn about field work.

수도권지역 영양사의 친환경 농산물 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Perception of Environment-friendly Agricultural Products among Dietitians in the Capital Area)

  • 영양사를 대상으로 학교급식에서 친환경 농산물 사용 확대를 위한 방안 기초자료 제시와 급식의 질과 만족도를 향상시키기 위해 연구 조사하였다. 친환경 우수 농산물 인증에 관한 인지도와 친환경 우수 농산물에 관한 인식간의 요인분석과 Correlation(상관관계분석), 다중회귀분석을 실시하였으며 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 영양사들은 친환경 농산물 인증에 관한 인지도가 그다지 높지 않았으며, 또한 친환경 농산물에 관한 인식과 위험인식은 그다지 높지 않았으나, 친환경 농산물에 관한 지식이 높았으며, 연령과 영양사 경력, 급식인원, 식품비 대비 농산물비로는 별다른 차이를 보이지 않았다. 영양사의 친환경 농산물 인증에 관한 인지도가 높을수록 친환경 농산물에 관한 인지 및 지식이 긍정적인 것으로 나타났으며 친환경농산물 인식은 친환경 우수 농축산물 인증에 관한 인지도에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 급식의 책임자인 영양사들의 친환경 농산물에 대한 인식을 향상시켜 학교 급식의 질적인 생산성 향상과 급식만족도를 높이도록 하며 학교급식에서의 친환경 농산물 이용도 증가에 따른 영양사뿐만 아니라 학부모의 인식개선도 필요하므로 후속 연구가 필요하다고 사료된다.

과학교사에 의해 조성되는 심리적 학습환경이 학생들의 과학 성취도에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of the Psychological Learning Environment by Science Teachers on Students' Science Achievement)

  • 과학 및 과학교과에 대한 학생들의 정의적 인식이 어떻게 하면 긍정적인 방향으로 행동변화를 가져올 수 있는가?에 연구의 목적을 가지고서, 과학수업 과정에서 교사에 의한 학습환경의 분위기나 풍토를 조성하는 심리적 측면이 학생들의 성취도에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 1년간 동일한 교사로부터 과학수업을 받은 중 고등학교 2, 3학년학생들이 가지고 있는 교사인식을 바탕으로 심리적 학습환경을 측정하고, 이 환경인식에 따른 과학불안 인식, 과학에 대한 태도, 과학 탐구능력, 과학성취도와의 관계 및 효과를 조사하였다. 이를 토대로 밝혀진 결과는 심리적 학습 환경은 학생들의 정의적 인식 성향과 인지적 학습결과에 직 간접적인 효과를 주며, 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 즉, 교사가 조성하는 수업태도, 인성특성, 학습분위기, 수업행동, 지원적 행동 등은 학생들의 과학에 대한 정의적인 행동특성을 변화시킬 수 있는 수업의 사태로써 유의하게 작용할 수 있으며, 과학 성취에도 의미있게 작용한다는 점을 시사해주고 있다.

의료종사자들의 환자안전문화에 대한 인식, 직무권태 및 잡 크래프팅이 안전이행에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Perception of Patient Safety Culture, Job Boredom and Job Crafting on Safety Compliance of Hospital Workers)

  • Objectives: This study examined factors influencing hospital workers' perception of patient safety culture, job boredom and job crafting in reporting of safety compliance. Methods: Structured questionnaires were used to collect data from 245 hospital workers who were full-time staff for six months or more. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and hierarchical multiple regressions with SPSS/WIN version 22.0. Results: The mean score for perception of patient safety culture was 3.16±0.32, for job boredom was 2.52±0.52, for job crafting was 3.35±0.49 and for degree of safety compliance was 2.87±0.3. The hierarchical multiple analysis revealed that hospital work environment (β=.27, p<.001), communication process (β=.27, p<.001) of subarea perception of patient safety culture and cognitive crafting (β=.15, p=.039) of subarea job crafting were predictive of patient safety compliance (R2=.47, p<.001). Conclusions: The findings indicate that perception of patient safety culture and job crafting are important factors to be considered in working to improve hospital workers' safety compliance. Therefore, education and systematic programs to improve perception of patient safety culture and job crafting should be developed.

직장 내 괴롭힘에 관한 치과위생사의 인지도 조사 (A study on perception of workplace bullying in the dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of workplace bullying in the dental hygienists to use them as basic data for improving the organizational relationship of the dental hygienists. Methods: The subjects were 302 dental hygienists that had been working at the dental clinics and dental hospitals. These data were analyzed by SPSS Version 20.0 (IBM Co., Armonk, NY, USA). Factor analysis was used for exploratory and confirmatory data. Independent t-test and one-way ANOVA were used to find out mean differences for verbal violence, improper business, and improper work environment according to characteristics of subjects. Results: Upon the study results, there were statistically significant differences between the verbal violence and working patterns according to the mean differences of the subfactors on subject's characteristics. Also, there were statistically significant differences between the improper work environment and all of subject's characteristics. However, there was no statistically significant differences in the improper business. The factor analysis showed that the Workplace Bullying of the dental hygienists was composed of three elements, namely 'verbal violence', 'improper business,' and 'improper work environment.' The validity of the model examined by a confirmatory factor analysis satisfied most of the relevant requirements. The Cronbach's aplha shows a good reliability. Conclusions: In conclusion, it was proven that dental hygienist's Workplace Bullying measurement tool had high validity and reliability. Furthermore, this study can be used to improve dental hygienists' organizational relationship. Therefore, by identifying the recognition of the dental hygienists, this study can contribute to affect a positive influence in the dental hospitals.

한국 정신간호영역에서의 간호업무환경 측정도구의 타당화 연구 (Validation Study of the Practice Environment Scale of Nursing Work Index for Psychiatric Hospital Nurses in Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the reliability and the validity of the Practice Environment Scale of Nursing Work Index (PES-NWI) scale when applied to Korean psychiatric nurses working in the psychiatric hospital in Korea. Methods: Data from 224 psychiatric nurses working in the 6 psychiatric hospitals in Korea were analyzed using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, item total correlation, and exploratory factor analysis. Results: The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for the 27 items from the PES-NWI were .93, and the item total correlation coefficients ranged from .38 to .64. Six factors which explained 61.2 of variance in the perception of practice environment, emerged; nurse professional role and development, nurse manager ability, leadership, and support of nurses, staffing and resource adequacy, nursing foundation for quality of care, collegial nurse-physician relations, co-worker's ability and qualification. Five derived factors reconstructed, and two factors were renamed. Conclusion: Findings demonstrate that not all but 27 items from PES-NWI is a reliable and valid scale when applied to Korean psychiatric nurses working in Korea. Also findings indicate that Korean psychiatric nurses perceive practice environment differently than American nurses but have some point of similarities with Asian nurses working in the United States.
