Predicting RFID Adoption Towards Urban Smart Mobility in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

  • Smart city technologies such as transportation and parking systems make our daily lives more efficient and intelligent. However, it is impossible to implement a smart mobility system without analyzing the individual's behavior toward the new technology. This research study attempts to develop a framework for predicting smart mobility antecedents using SEM in primary data analysis. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was the conceptual foundation for this study. To achieve the objectives of the study, one thousand five hundred and twelve effective questionnaires were collected and analyzed using Smart PLS 3.3. The results show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived risk significantly affect attitudes towards adopting smart mobility systems. Our study provides a comprehensive framework to understand individual-level smart city technology adoption. This study offers implications for policymakers to update existing policies concerning road technology.

  • 본 연구는 기술수용모형(TAM)을 이론적 틀로 설정하여 사이버대학생을 대상으로 이러닝과 연계된 모바일러닝에 대한 모바일 자기효능감, 이동성, 지각된 유용성, 지각된 사용용이성과 수용의도 간에 인과관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 모바일 자기효능감, 이동성이 지각된 사용용이성에 영향을 미쳤고 둘째, 모바일 자기효능감, 이동성, 지각된 사용용이성이 지각된 유용성에 영향을 주었다. 셋째, 모바일 자기효능감, 이동성, 지각된 유용성은 모바일러닝 서비스 수용의도에 영향을 미쳤으나 지각된 사용용이성은 모바일러닝 서비스 수용의도에 영향을 미치지 못한 것으로 확인되었다.

  • This study developed seven assumptions to demonstrate the effect of personal innovation, social influences, service quality, mobility and accessibility on perceived usability, perceived convenience use and use intention using a technology acceptance model developed by Davis(1989), and the results are presented as follows: First, the assumption that personal innovation and service quality of mobile banking service will influence the perceived usability was adopted while the assumption that social influences will affect the perceived usability was rejected. Second, the assumption that mobility and accessibility of mobile banking services will influence the perceived convenient use was selected. Third, the assumption that the perceived usability of mobile banking service will influence use intention was rejected while the assumption that the convenient use will influence use intention was adopted. This study suggests that as personal innovation, service quality, mobility and accessibility have a significant influence on use of mobile banking, service providers should pay more attention to development of security programs and diversification of contents.

퍼스널 모빌리티 사용의도에 관한 연구: SOR(Stimulus-Organism-Response) 모델을 중심으로 (A Study on the Intention to use Personal Mobility Services: Focused on the SOR(Stimulus-Organism-Response) Model)

  • 본 연구는 SOR(Stimulus-Organism-Response) 모델을 기반으로 퍼스널 모빌리티의 성능적 측면과 외부 환경적 요인을 고려해 이용자들과 비이용자들의 사용 의도를 설명할 수 있는 연구 모형을 제안하였다. 국내 사용자들과 비사용자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였고 부분최소자승법(Partial Least Square, PLS)과 인공신경망 분석(Artificial Neural Network, ANN)을 통해 연구모형 및 가설들을 검증하였다. 분석결과, 사용자들은 지각된 만족도와 지각된 신뢰도가 사용 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 지각된 위험성과 환경적 가치가 지각된 만족도와 지각된 신뢰도와 유의한 관계가 있음이 확인되었다. 반면, 비사용자들은 지각된 만족도와 사용의도 간에 양의 상관관계가 있음이 밝혀졌고, 사용자들과 마찬가지로 지각된 위험성과 환경적 가치가 지각된 만족도와 지각된 신뢰도의 유의한 선행변수임이 검증되었다. 나머지 변수들 중에서는 사용자들의 지각된 이동성과 비사용자들의 지각된 이용 용이성이 각각 지각된 만족도의 중요한 영향요인으로 파악되었다.

  • 본 연구는 혁신기술에 대한 사회적 수용의 관점에서 스마트 모빌리티(smart mobility)의 수용에 미치는 영향요인을 탐색하였다. 혁신기술의 사회적 수용과 확산에 관한 이론고찰을 통해 혁신-수용에 미치는 영향요인, 지각된 유용성의 인식과 수용의도에 미치는 일련의 과정에 대한 구조방정식 모형을 설정하고, 이를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석에 필요한 자료는 2016년 8월 1일에서 12일 사이에 설문을 통해 수집하였으며, 수집된 534개의 설문이 분석에 이용되었다. 실증분석결과, 적합성과 상대적 이점은 지각된 유용성을 매개로 스마트 모빌리티의 사회적 수용에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으나, 의사소통은 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 복잡성과 서비스품질은 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과에 기초하여 스마트 모빌리티의 사회적 수용과 관련된 시사점을 제공하였으며, 본 연구의 한계점과 이를 극복하기 위한 향후 연구방향도 제시하였다.

What Drives Mobile Commerce? Determinants of Behavioral intents to Adopt m-Commerce

  • This study aimed at investigating the features of m-commerce (mobility, perceived enjoyment, perceived personalization, and habit) that influence consumers' behavioral intents to adopt mobile shopping. To this end, it theorized on and examined the effects of the features of m-commerce that influence consumers' behavioral intents to adopt mobile shopping. The results showed that the most critical drives of m-commerce in mobile shopping are mobility, perceived personalization, and habit. And also we found that habit weakens (moderates) the effects of mobility on the consumers' behavioral intents to adopt mobile shopping. Habit has direct effects on the consumers' behavioral intents to adopt mobile shopping, and these effects are moderated by individual habit.

What Brings Customer Gapjil? The Intertwined Effects of Perceived Economic Mobility, Self-Other Referent Priming, and Temporal Focus

  • The current research brings the spotlight onto customer Gapjil toward service employees. In an attempt to understand what brings Gapjil, the present article investigates the intertwined effects of perceived economic mobility (PEM), self-other referent priming (SORP), and temporal focus on Gapjil. Study 1 shows that PEM increases Gapjil among self-referent primed people, but not among other-referent primed people. Study 2 examining the role of temporal focus (present vs. future) reveals that the effect found in study 1 is replicated in the present focus, but the effect is reversed in the future focus. We explain this dynamic pattern of the 3-way interaction effect with a relative gratification and a motivation to attune the self to the perceived norm of the high class. We also discuss how to create a social atmosphere to lessen Gapjil in public and corporate communication strategies.

모바일 관광 앱 서비스특성이 지각된 가치, 만족 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Mobile Tourism App Characteristics on Perceived Value, Satisfaction and Behavioral Intention)

  • Purpose - This study examined the relationship between the priorities of information, usability, mobility, reliability and empathy, which are the lower dimensions of mobile tourism app service characteristics, on the perceived value and satisfaction of tourists. Research design, data, methodology - Data collection was conducted from June 10, 2019 to June 20, 2019, and a total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to collect 352 copies. Factor analysis, reliability verification, and covariance structure analysis were carried out using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 for 321 parts for statistical analysis. Results - First, information, mobility, reliability, and empathy have a significant effect on perceived value. However, usefulness did not appear to have a significant effect on perceived value. This analysis results can increase the reliability of the tourism app, it can be seen that the accurate tourist information services are used in the tourist app or in the place required. Second, information, usability, mobility, and empathy had a significant effect on satisfaction. However, reliability did not have a significant effect on satisfaction. Third, perceived value had a significant effect on satisfaction. Fourth, it had a significant effect on information, empathy, and intention to use. However, the usefulness, mobility, and reliability did not have a significant effect on the behavioral intention. Lastly, perceived value and satisfaction had a significant effect on behavioral intention. Conclusions - The analysis result is that the tourism app that is being used is provided with a reliable and accurate tourism information service, it can be seen that you are using the tourism app in the place or on the go. Therefore, it is relatively difficult to use the tourism app, and it is easy to understand the contents of the service and timely information. Therefore, it is possible to communicate with other users and provide customized services according to needs and desires. The study has the following limitations. This may influence the progress of the research because the respondents' responses to the mobile tourism app service are from different experiences. In addition the accuracy of providing accurate information, the usefulness of using the mobile tourism app, and the ease of communicating with other users can be understood as being relatively satisfactory.

공유 모빌리티 서비스의 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study of Factors Affecting Intention to Use Mobility Sharing Service)

  • The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about many changes in our daily lives and in industries as a whole. The most notable change was the spread of the untact culture to minimize face-to-face contact. The spread of the untact culture has changed the use of public transportation. Looking at the results of previous SARS and MERS studies, it was found that as the pandemic spreads, the use of public transportation decreased. Recently, the mobility sharing service is attracting attention as a personalized means of transportation instead of public transportation. Therefore, in this study, the factors affecting the intention to use the mobility sharing service were to be identified by the actual users. In this study, economic benefit, convenience, sustainability, and sense of belonging were set as independent variables based on previous studies. In addition, the relationship between the perceived usefulness and perceived pleasure of these factors of use on intention to use was empirically analyzed through PLS-SEM. As a result of the study, it was found that economic benefits, convenience, sustainability, and sense of belongingness had a significant effect on intention to use through perceived usefulness and enjoyment. This study was meaningful in that it was verified through the study that economic benefits, convenience, sustainability, and a sense of belongingness were significant variables affecting the intention to use through usefulness and pleasure.

모바일 오피스 환경에서 이동성(Mobility)이 PDA 활용에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Mobility of PDAs on their Use in Mobile Office Environments)

  • Given the growing deployment of mobile offices, we need to understand the fectors which affect their successful use and implementation. We in this paper present a parsimonious model which integrates the IS success model and the TAM. The main feature of the model is that it allows one to explore the role of mobility of mobile office systems in determining the level of system usage and dependence. Although the mobility is the key property of any mobile system, there is little research effort exerted to understand how mobility affects the traditional IS factors such as perceived ease of use and usefulness. In addition to the system usage, this model also uses dependence as the dependent variable. This is expected to provide richer understanding of the study context. We collected survey data from 1,614 field service workers of a major domestic electronic company. They use PDAs to retrieve information regarding the specifics of the customer service requests and to report what has been done for each service job. The results from SEM analysis show that mobility improves the perceived ease of use which then leads the field service workers to depend more on the PDA systems. Interestingly enough, however, the workers' satisfaction does not cause more frequent use of the system.
