대전력용 차단기 내의 EMC 필터 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design of EMC Filter in the High Powered Breaker)

  • 전파통신의 급격한 발전에 따라 우리의 생활은 보다 편리하고 풍요로워졌다. 그러나 정밀 전기 전자 장치 및 제어 시스템 등이 경량화, 고속화, 소형화됨에 따라 외부의 EMI(전원장해)와 EFT(과도전압)에 의한 오동작, 인체에 미치는 영향 등의 많은 문제점을 야기 시키고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 대책방법으로 10 MHz ~ 1.5 GHz에서 30 ~ 75 dB 이상의 노이즈 감쇠 특성과 IEC 61000-4-4의 level 4에서 4 kV의 과도전압을 인가시 600 V로 억제시키는 우수한 특성을 가진 대전력용 차단기 내의 EMC 필터를 설계 제작하였다.

  • In this paper, an omni wheel-based electric wheelchair is proposed that can achieve safe and convenient movement and can improve the convenience of living for mobility-impaired people who cannot move on their own. Generally, mobility-impaired people are afflicted with physical health issues such as pain and secondary body deformities because they often remain seated in wheelchairs for long periods of time. Hence, an electric wheelchair is required whose posture can be changed and whose size can be adjusted according to the user's body type. Such a wheelchair should also facilitate easy change of direction (even in a narrow space) for convenient movement. In this paper, an electric wheelchair featuring omni wheels is proposed that allows posture transformation and facilitates movement in a narrow space. It is believed that the proposed wheelchair can aid in enhancing the convenience of living for mobility-impaired people.

새로운 맞춤형 정밀의학과 보건의료 연구에 대한 조망 (Perspective of a New Precision Medicine and Health Care Research)

  • The concept of precision medicine-prevention and treatment strategies that take individual variability into account-is hot issue of US in the year 2015. Precision medicine is a new concept that approach patients individually by there characteristics, such as genome, life style, environmental exposure, etc. For developing the precision medicine, National Institute of Health of US has been prepared the Precision Medicine Initiative Cohort Program, at least 1 million people cohort. The US President Obama announced the Precision Medicine Initiative on 30th January 2015. He announced that he will pioneer a new model of patient-powered research that promises to accelerate biomedical discoveries and provide clinicians with new tools, knowledge, and therapies to select which treatments will work best for which patients. Most medical treatments have been designed for the 'average patient.' As a result of this 'one-size-fits-all-approach,' treatments can be very successful for some patients but not for others. This is changing with the emergence of precision medicine, an innovative approach to disease prevention and treatment that takes into account individual differences in people's genes, environments, and lifestyles. Precision medicine gives clinicians tools to better understand the complex mechanisms underlying a patient's health, disease, or condition, and to better predict which treatments will be most effective. The healthcare researcher should prepare the new medicine era such as bio-information technology convergence, big data study.

Analysis of Cases of Ergonomic Improvements of Agricultural Work Support Equipments

  • Objective: The objective of this study is to present varying cases of ergonomic improvements in equipments for agricultural work. Background: In Korean agricultural sector, many older people and females, who may be more vulnerable to musculoskeletal diseases than young males, are doing high stressful tasks such as manual materials tasks, harvesting, etc. For reducing the work stress of the farmers, the Korean government has been performing support projects to provide the farmers with agricultural implements specified for their crops. In the projects, ergonomics experts have participated and helped modify the equipments. Method: Fifty cases of equipment improvements, which were carried out in 33 farming organizations cultivating 13 different crops, were reviewed and presented by equipments and their parts. Results: In total, 283 cases of improvements for 12 equipments including 4-wheel, 1-wheel, and 3-wheel powered carts, grass cutter, conveyer, pest control machine, and so on, were presented. The improvements were also classified according to the ergonomic principles like compatibility, ease of use, safety and fitting to the anthropometry, etc. Frequencies of improvements by equipment and its part were the highest in carts and controls, respectively. Principles of safety and ease of use were adopted more frequently in improving equipments than others. Conclusion: The tables of examples of improvements of agricultural implements are main results of this study and the systematical summaries are expected to be widely used in the development of more improved agricultural implements. Application: The results could be used as practical guidelines in ergonomically developing and modifying agricultural implements by both the experts and non-experts in ergonomics. The improvements would contribute to reduction of stress in farm work, which result in increasing the level of safety and health of Korean agricultural society.

상·하향 계단보행을 위한 근전도 신호 기반 보행단계 인식 (Gait Phase Recognition based on EMG Signal for Stairs Ascending and Stairs Descending)

  • 동력의족은 하지 절단 환자나 다리근력이 부족한 사람들의 보행 보조를 위해 사용된다. 동력의족의 자연스러운 구동을 위해 선 보행단계가 잘 분류되어야 한다. 물리센서를 이용하여 보행단계를 분류하는 기존 연구는 동력의족이 사전에 훈련된 보행속도로만 재현되는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 물리센서를 사용하지 않고, 근전도 신호만을 이용하여 오르막, 내리막 계단보행을 각각 4단계로 분류하는 방법을 제안한다. 근전도 신호를 RMS, VAR, MAV, SSC, ZC, WAMP 특징으로 산출하여 LDA(Linear Discriminant Analysis) 분류기를 통해 보행단계를 인식한다. 훈련 단계에서는 AHRS센서를 이용하여 무릎각도 변화에 따른 보행단계 범위를 생성한다. 실험 결과, 선행 연구의 경우 오르막 보행에서 평균 58.5%, 내리막 보행에서 35.3%의 정확도를 보인다. 반면, 제안하는 방법은 오르막 보행에서 평균 85.6%, 내리막 보행에서 69.5%의 인식률을 보인다. 또한, 본 연구를 통해 개별 근육 별 보행단계 평균 인식률을 분석하였다.

사거리를 이용한 상향, 하향 계단 검출 방법 (Upward, Downward Stair Detection Method by using Obliq ue Distance)

  • 이동의 불편을 겪는 사람을 위한 휠체어 등 이동 보조 장치들이 전동화, 자동화되고 있다. 이러한 이동 보조 장치는 평지 이동에 적합하도록 설계, 제작되어 있어 바닥 면의 높이가 다른 계단 구간의 이동에 적합하지 않다. 전동화, 자동화된 이동 보조 장치는 전방에 계단이 있는 경우 이동 방향을 변경하거나 정지해야 한다. 만약 사용자 또는 자동 제어 시스템이 적절한 시간 내 방향 전환 또는 정지하지 않으면 계단과 충돌 또는 구르는 등의 사고가 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 한 개의 거리 측정 센서를 이용하여 바닥 면까지의 사거리를 측정하여 계단을 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 사거리 측정을 위해 센서를 기울이는 각도와 센서가 이동 보조 장치 등의 이동체에 설치되는 높이 등의 매개변수를 고려하여 평지일 때 사거리의 예측 값과 측정값 사이의 차이를 이용하여 상향 계단 또는 하향 계단을 검출한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법으로 검출된 계단에 대한 정보가 정보를 전동화, 자동화된 이동 보조 장치의 제어기에 제공되면 제어기가 적절한 제어 동작을 수행할 수 있어 이동 보조 장치가 계단 구역 진입으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 사고를 방지할 수 있다.

A study on development of suitable healthcare equipment for aged people at their homes - Toward efficiency and reduction of the homehelpers' labor in healthcare

  • Concerning the development of suitable healthcare equipment for a aged people at their homes in order to reduce the labor and increase the efficiency in the homehelpers' work, we conducted a study on the actual conditions of healthcare in Kyoto city (healthcare in taking a meal and excretion, moving and taking a bath by using a hand-powered lift, moving by a wheelchair, shower carrier healthcare, assistance in body care and housework) by digital video filming, interviews and layout investigations. On the base of those investigations by using methods for analysis of video pictures, we divided the healthcate work into scenes and e exctracted the main problems in terms of health care equipment, information, environment, healthcare skills, mental burden, social s system, family burden, ete. Furthermore the questionnaire survey of home helpers (18 persons - 50% answers) clarified that more than half of them have lumbago pains and the biggest load in the everyday healthcare c comes from moving the patients or getting them into or out of t the equipment for moving. Finally we considered concrete proposals appropriate for each h healthcare scene image, based on evaluation toward efficiency (design guidelines) for suitable healthcare equipment for aged people at their homes: 1) Design toward a proper posture 2) Design toward self-help possibility 3) Design toward patient active participation 4) Design toward rationality of the whole process 5) Design toward place-appropriate healthcare equipment 6) Design toward healing of mind 7) Good level of healthcare skills 8) Economic, systematic rationality

기립보조형 전동휠체어 개발에 따른 장애인 사용성 평가 연구 (A Study on the Usability Test of People with Disabilities According to the Development of Powered Wheelchair of Standing Support Type)

  • 본 연구는 교통약자에게 안전한 이동 및 기립보조의 전동휠체어를 개발하여 휠체어 장애인 31명을 대상으로 사용성 평가를 통해 문제점과 개선방안을 제시하는데 있다. 본 연구 결과를 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교통약자에게 기립 및 착석이 가능하고, 좁은 공간을 이동할 수 있는 근거리 이동수단으로 사용될 수 있는 기립형 전동휠체어를 개발하였다. 본 연구개발 시제품의 사용성 평가에서 장애인 집단 중 수동휠체어집단대상자 16명과 전동휠체어집단 15명으로 나누어 사용성 평가항목의 60개 유형으로 측정한 결과를 나타내었다. 2개 집단의 전체 평균값이 2.72점, 편차는 0.820점으로 나타났으며, 이를 세부적으로 나누어보면 수동휠체어집단대상자의 평균값은 2.85점, 전동휠체어 집단대상자의 평균값은 2.57점으로 나타났다. 이중 수동휠체어 및 전동휠체어의 탑승동작과 하차동작 시 불편여부에서 승하차 모두 가장 불편하다고 응답하였으며, 이에 운전자의 안전한 승하차를 위해 양하지 지체장애인의 인체공학적인 설계가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애인 사용성 평가에서 나타난 불편사항과 개선방안을 토대로 추가적인 연구개발이 이루어져 교통약자들에게 스스로 탑승하여 기립 후 이동하며 간단한 일상생활하는데 있어 삶의 질을 높이는데 기여할 것으로 사료된다.

우리나라 국민의 2006년도 구강관리용품 사용실태 (The status of use of oral care products in Korea at 2006)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use of oral hygiene products in Korean adult population. And it was conducted to make a baseline in planning the operation of the oral health for the Korean adult. Methods : The National Survey data of Oral Health was used. The use of each oral hygiene product was analysed according to socioeconomic status (Age, Occupation, Residential district), smoking status and concern about one's oral health. The subject of this study were 14,368 of 2000 year, 3,526 of 2003 year and 2,439 of 2006 year. They were organized from 20s to 60s. Data was analysed into Pearson chi-square test and Fisher's exact test using SAS 8.01 program. Results : 1. The rate of using oral hygiene product was increased, but the rate of non-using people remains 65.8% on the 2006 data. 2. The non-using group of the oral hygiene products was the age of sixty, farmer, rancher, fisherman, military, ruralist, smoker and the people do not concern about their oral health(p<0.05). Conclusion : To improve the rate of using oral hygiene products, effective motivation method would be necessary. In addition, It is required to educate the group more individually. This is for them to have a interesting about oral hygiene products and learn how to choice appropriate product. In the future, study about the reason of non-using oral hygiene products, and more concrete method for improving their behavior would be needed.

WalkON Suit: 하지 완전마비 장애인을 위한 웨어러블 로봇 (WalkON Suit: A Wearable Robot for Complete paraplegics)

  • Wearable robots are receiving great attention from the public, as well as researchers, because its motivation is to improve the quality of lives of people. Above all, complete paraplegic patients due to spinal cord injury (SCI) might be the most adequate target users of the wearable robots, because they definitely need physical assistance due to the complete loss of muscular strength and sensory functions. Furthermore, the medical care of complete paraplegics by using the wearable robots have significantly reduced the mortality rate and improved the life expectancy. The requirements of the wearable robot for complete paraplegics are actuation torque, locomotion speed, wearing sensation, robust gait stability, safety, and practicality (i.e., size, volume, weight, and energy efficiency). A WalkON Suit is the wearable robot that has satisfied the requirements of the wearable robot for complete paraplegics and participated in the powered exoskeleton race of Cybathlon 2016. In this paper, configuration of the WalkON Suit, human-machine interface, gait pattern, control algorithm, and evaluation results are introduced.
