신경회로망을 이용한 비선형 시스템 제어의 실험적 연구 (Experimental Studies of neural Network Control Technique for Nonlinear Systems)

  • In this paper, intelligent control method using neural network as a nonlinear controller is presented. Simulation studies for three link rotary robot are performed. Neural network controller is implemented on DSP board in PC to make real time computing possible. On-line training algorithms for neural network control are proposed. As a test-bed, a large x-y table was build and interface with PC has been implemented. Experiments such as inverted pendulum control and large x-y table position control are performed. The results for different PD controller gains with neural network show excellent position tracking for circular trajectory compared with those for PD controller only. Neural control scheme also works better for controlling inverted pendulum on x-y table.

  • In recent years, researches on rotary inverted pendulum control systems have been significantly focused due their highly nonlinear dynamics and complicated geometric structures. This paper presents a novel control approach for such systems by means of similarity transformation theory. At first, we represent nonlinear system dynamics to the controllability-formed state space model including a time-varying parameter vector. We establish the state-feedback control configuration based on the transformed model and derive an adaptive control law for adjusting desired characteristic equation. Numerical analysis is achieved to evaluate our control method and demonstrate its superiority by comparing it to the traditional control strategy. Furthermore, real-time control experiment is carried out to test its practical reliability.

마찰진자베어링(FPS) 면진시스템을 적용한 원전주제어실의 진동대 실험 (Experimental Study on Floor Isolation of Main Control Room of Nuclear Power Plant using FPS(Friction Pendulum System))

  • The seismic characteristics with Friction Pendulum System have been studied using a shaking table system. In this study, we made two kind of floor system (Type I, Type II) and several seismic tests with and without isolation system were conducted to evaluate floor isolation effectiveness of Friction Pendulum System. Both type have showed large reduction effectiveness in acceleration, response spectra but Type II have showed lower acceleration and lower first mode in response spectra, compared to type I. On the basis of test results and consideration of application, it is found that type II is more suitable for floor model of main control room of Nuclear Power Plant.

FPGA를 이용한 범용 모션 컨트롤러의 개발 (Development of a General Purpose Motion Controller Using a Field Programmable Gate Array)

  • We have developed a general purpose motion controller using an FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array). The multi-PID controllers and GUI are implemented as a system-on-chip for multi-axis motion control. Comparing with the commercial motion controller LM 629, since it has multi-independent PID controllers, we have several advantages such as space effectiveness, low cost and lower power consumption. In order to test the performance of the proposed controller, motion of the robot hand is controlled. The robot hand has three fingers with 2 joints each. Finger movements show that tracking was very effective. Another experiment of balancing an inverted pendulum on a cart has been conducted to show the generality of the proposed FPGA PID controller. The controller has well maintained the balance of the pendulum.

웨어러블 IT 기기에 적용 가능한 초소형 진자 발전기에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ultra-Small Pendulum Generator Applicable to Wearable IT Device)

  • 본 연구에서는 전자기 유도 발전(EMG) 기법 중 RFPM의 설계사양을 설정하고 특성 계산에 필요한 유한요소해석(FEM, 2D)을 통하여 이에 적합한 시험 시제품을 제작하였다. 또한 시험용 프로토타입의 측정, 분석을 하기위하여 전용 검사장치를 설계, 제작하였다. 검사장치로 시험품을 측정하였으며, 그 결과를 분석하여 실제 인체 운동 에너지를 이용하여 웨어러블 IT 기기의 배터리에 충전이 가능한 만큼 출력전력이 생성되어 적용할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 시험결과, 회전수 780.9rpm, 토크 0.264kgf/cm, 부하전류 73.6~73.9mA의 조건에서 출력 1.679W, 효율 79.31%로 측정되었다. 따라서 초소형 RFPM 진자 발전기의 출력으로 웨어러블 기기에 충전이 가능한 것으로 분석되었다.

  • 최근 지진의 빈도가 증가하면서 전력 시설물에 대한 피해 역시 심각한 상황이다. 요즘 들어 Hanger, Brace, Snubber와 같이 주요기기들을 연결하는 배관지지 시스템의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 배관의 손상은 발전소 가동에 전체적인 영향을 미치기 때문에 손상을 주는 요인으로부터 보호할지지 장치가 필요하게 된다. 이러한 장치들은 배관에 작용하는 직 간접적인 진동과 충격을 저감시키는 역할을 하기 때문에 배관의 손상을 방지할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 마찰진자 원리를 이용한 기계식 댐퍼를 개발하고 특성시험을 통해 장치 성능을 검증한 내용을 기술하였다. 또한 자체 개발한 설계 프로그램을 통해 예상된 해석값과 시험값을 비교분석하였고 결과적으로 설계의 신뢰성을 향상시켰다.

  • The friction pendulum type seismic isolation system (FPS) has been developed to provide a simple and effective way to achieve earthquake resistance for buildings . The major advantages are: the isolation frequency can be easily achieved by designing a curvature of the surface and does not depend on the supported weight of a structure. The function of carrying vertical load is separated to the function of providing horizontal stiffness. Next the friction provides sufficient energy dissipation to protect the structure from earthquake response and resistance to the weak external disturbances such as wind load and ground vibrations due to traffic. In this paper, the friction coefficients are evaluated from number of experiments on the FPS test specimens. The relations between friction coefficient and the test waveform, velocity, and pressure are reviewed and further works are discussed.

관절계 역학적 특성의 정량화를 위한 비선형 댐퍼모델 (Nonlinear Damper Model for the Quantification of joint Mechanical Properties)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a more precise damper model of the joint for the quantification of the joint mechanical properties. We modified the linear damper model of a knee joint model to nonlinear one. The normalized RMS errors between the simulated and measured joint angle trajectories during passive pendulum test became smaller with the nonlinear damper model than those of the linear one which indicates the nonlinear damper model is better in precision and accuracy. The error between the experimental and simulated knee joint moment also reduced with the nonlinear damper model. The reduction in both the trajectory error and the moment error was significant at the latter part of the pendulum test where the joint angular velocity was small. The nonlinearity of the damper was significantly greater at thin subject group and this indicates the nonlinearity is a useful index of joint mechanical properties.
