대학과 지역사회의 연계성 강화를 위한 보행전용가로 조성방안 연구 -서울산업대학교앞 철도폐선부지를 중심으로- (A Study on the Pedestrian Mall Planning and its Design in Campus Surroundings -in the Case of the Regenerated Block of Kyungchun-railroad Track-)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics of physical planning elements in the pedestrian malls when cultural events for young ages proved; the planning strategies for the regeneration of the block of Kyungchun-railroad track, which is removing planned in campus surroundings. Local Government' initiation makes possible to make improvement and give administrative and financial support which is sensitive to the existing conditions of railroad for the better living environment. Thus, this research suggests how the block of Kyungchun-railroad track, which is removing planned, as a newly organized pedestrian mall design system can cope with collaborating a board and community, which has in campus surroundings related. This study consists of following four parts; 1. six-case pedestrian mall in campus surroundings in Seoul were analyzed in terms of physical and cultural factors for young ages between university and community. 2. we focused on the analysis of correlation between the physical planning factors and the spatial requirements for cultural event when the pedestrian mall in campus surroundings is designed. The paper's significance lies in that it shows a new direction in urban renewal planning and design which has been made into a pedestrian mall plan through in support of the application to the pilot project compared with previous physical environment.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a planning method for increasing visitors' usage attraction by understanding user circulation in the large scale commercial complex. Focusing on the impact of anchor tenant on the pedestrian traffic arousing visitors' usage attraction flow, this study analyzed pedestrian circulation and traffic volume of Lotte World Mall, a large scale commercial complex. In this study, the change of pedestrian traffic in the commercial complex was investigated and the circulation flow of anchor tenant visitors such as movie theater in the commercial complex was simulated by computer. By analyzing both characteristics of pedestrian circulation and traffic volume in large scale commercial complex and movie theater users' pedestrian traffic with network-based computer simulation, positive relationship between pedestrian traffic to movie theater and pedestrian traffic dispersion of the whole commercial complex users was emerged. In addition, It is necessary to plan of distributing pedestrian traffic of vertical moving line in central space appropriately for using attraction function of anchor tenant.

스트릿 몰(Street Mall)의 매장 배분계획과 영업활성화의 관계에 대한 연구 - 국내 스트릿 몰의 사례를 중심으로 - (Research on the relationship of store unit configuration and business activation of street mall - Based on case studies of street malls in Korea -)

  • This research was undertaken to prove the relationship between street mall activation and architectural plan design. The research methodology was established based on the analysis of data of two existing street malls in Korea (Western Dome & LaFesta) and theoretical studies of outdoor space design. The findings from this study are the following: First, building blocks with segments in every 50m or so are ideal for detailed communication between visitors and building contents. Second, the ratio of width of main corridor and building height should be less than 1 to provide intimate feel and keep visitors' attention concentrated in the facility. Third, store unit should have more storefronts to be exposed more to passers-by and lead more pedestrian traffic. Fourth, shape of store unit would rather be wide and shallow, instead of narrow and deep, to have more exposure to the central corridor. Fifth, the building block of the busiest(most expensive) area that is usually at the main entrance area of street mall should be flexible to fit more smaller units to maximize the profitability. Sixth, the main entrance of store should face the main pedestrian corridor to induce the influx of visitors. Lastly seventh, anchor tenant that has strong name recognition is usually located on basement or higher level to induce pedestrian traffic into the mall, key tenants that are strong and familiar brand names should be located at the corner of building block with spacing to attract visitors, provide even distribution of traffic, and support wayfinding, and local tenant should be located at small units along the central corridor or remainder spaces occurred from building core layout.

초.중.고등학교 현상설계 당선안에 나타난 배치 계획 요소 및 경향 분석 (An Analysis on Layout Patterns and their Trends in the Prizewinners of Elementary.Middle.High School Design Competitions)

  • Owing to generalization of design competitions since 1990s, various design methods was tried in elementary middle high school design competitions. Therefore, to analyze design characteristics of elementary middle high school is very meaningful. In this context, this study is the most important purpose for analyzing layout plans and their trends in prizewinners of elementary middle high school design competitions and for furnishing basic datum for next school design. The result of this study is following : (1) The layout patterns of school buildings are classified into 12 types. (2) Entrance design is divided into 6 types(structure, column and wall, open, half structure, general, and mixed type). (3) Square design is grouped into 7 types. (4) Pedestrian mall is sorted out 6 types(straight lineal, curve, curve and square, straight lineal and curve, and straight lineal and curve and square type). (5) Entrance types of vehicle and pedestrian are classified into 4 types(parallel, ㅡ separation, ㄱ separation, and opposite separation type) Analysis shows that the best applying for layout patterns of school buildings is ㄷ type and ㅌ type, for entrance design is structure type, for square design is ${\square}$ type and ${\bigcirc}$ type, for pedestrian mall is straight lineal and square type, and for entrance types of vehicle and pedestrian is parallel type.

지하상가 쇼핑환경 개선방향에 관한 연구 - 지하철과 연계된 직선형 지하상가를 중심으로 - (A Remodeling Concept for the Underground Shopping Mall in Seoul - Focusing on the Linear Shopping Mall linked to Subway Lines -)

  • First appeared in the 1970s, the underground shopping mall has been spreading across the country, and there reportedly exist 77 malls in the 2010. After over 30 decades operation, many underground shopping malls are now under the planning phase for renovation in many cities. This study considers the renovation issue of the underground shopping mall in the perspective of spatial re-configuration. A case is taken from Kangnam TerminalUnderground Shopping Mall in Seoul for detailed observation and suggestion. The monotonous and confusingspatial layout of the existing mall is investigated by observation methods. Based on the observation, a modifiedplan is suggested and evaluated by means of computer simulation program, Depth Map. The program mainly deals with visual network analysis in order to quantify the optical exposure in a given space. It is argued in this paper that the enhanced visual connectedness could affect the pedestrian performance positively in the shopping mall, and this leads to an easy and quick access to each shops in users' stand point. It is thought that this configurational solution for the remodelling of a specific case would be an effective reference for other malls in the country which are facing the similar problems.

  • The lounge space in the fashion shopping mall such as footpath and resting place is attained not only a routine life for a pedestrian ,but also a simple meeting for association and amusement. In comparison with the current advancement of a shopping mall, however the lounge-a resting place for customers who make a visit for shopping and need for resting has changed into being commercial and non commercial -real meaning for resting space has disappeared. Consequently, the purpose of a research is to investigate on the actual condition for noncommercial resting spaces in the shopping mall and to suggest a reform measure through an analysis on the satisfaction percept of users in accordance with the result.

  • 보행자들의 선호도 및 선호공간의 특성을 고찰하기 위하여 다차원척도법(MDS)을 이용하여 분석을 실시한 결과, 차원 1의 보행공간 특성은 보행자 전용도로의 유무여부, 보차분리가 되어 있는 공간과 보차분리가 되어 있지 않은 공간적 특성을 가지는 "보차분리(보행자 전용도로)"의 차원으로 해석된다. 차원 2는 자연적이고 한적한 경관적 특성을 가지는 공간과 복잡하고 혼잡한 도시적 특성을 가지는 공간으로 "자연성-도회성"의 차원으로 해석된다. 또한 보행자들의 선호공간 벡터를 분석한 결과 주거단지 사이의 보행자 전용도로, 소공원 보행공간, 근린공원 보행공간, 공공시설 주변 보행공간 등이 가장 선호되는 공간으로 나타났고, 단독주택주변 보행공간은 반대로 가장 선호하지 않는 공간으로 분석된다.

시민 만족도 분석을 통한 대중교통전용지구 도입 평가 연구 (Analysis on Effectiveness of Transit Mall by Visitor Perception)

  • 본 연구는 대중교통전용지구 도입 목적 달성 여부를 판단하기 위한 것으로, 이를 위해 현재 운영중인 3개 도시의 대중교통전용지구에 대한 운영상황을 비교 검토하고, 2015년 가장 최근에 도입된 부산광역시를 대상으로 방문객의 만족과 불만족을 판별하는 요소들을 도출하는 판별모형식을 제안하였다. 국내 도입된 3개 도시를 비교 검토한 결과 도시별로 운영방식이 다르며, 서울의 경우는 교통수요관리, 부산의 경우는 보행환경, 대구의 경우는 대중교통 이용 접근성이 타도시 보다 높은 수준이라는 결론을 도출하였다. 또한, 부산의 대중교통전용지구 도입 목적 달성 여부를 판단할 수 있는 판별모형식을 통해 상권 활성화 여부가 만족 여부를 판단하는 가장 유용한 변수이고, 버스 이용편의 증대 여부, 교통위험성 증가 여부, 보행자 수 증가 여부, 상가방문자 증가 여부의 순으로 판별력이 높은 변수라는 결과를 도출하였다. 이러한 결과는 각종 event 행사와 상가 주민과 협의체를 구성하는 등의 상권 활성화 방안을 마련하고, 일반차량의 통행제한 시간 확대, 도시철도와 연계하는 방안 마련 등 교통여건 개선이 필요함을 시사한다.

  • 한국토지공사는 주거, 금융센터, 리조트 시설, 쇼핑 몰, 관광과 스포츠 시설을 포함하는 대규모 단지계획으로서 인천 청라지구를 계획하고 있다. 대규모 단지 (1780만$m^2$)중에 하나가 건설 중이다. 전체지역을 6개의 지역으로 구분하고 6개의 보석 명칭(크리스탈, 샤파이어, 루비, 에머랄드, 자드, 진주, 다이아몬드)들을 부여하고 있다. 한국토지공사는 3개의 주거 단지에 그 지역을 대표할 수 있는 다양하고 특별한 형태와 구조 시스템을 요구하였다. 본인은 이러한 구조형태의 인도교를 소개하고자 한다. 4개의 사장교 뿐만 아니라, 아치교과 트러스교들이 계획되었다.

  • 도시가 급성장함에 따라 보행자 가로가 잊혀져갔다. 하지만 성장이 안정됨에 따라 다시 보행자 가로가 중요시되고 있다. 동대문쇼핑센터 지역의 보행자가로에 현황을 조사 및 답사 결과 정비되지 않았으며 보행자의 안전이 보장되어있지 않았다. 따라서 동대문지역 보행자가로의 문제점을 도출하고 그에 따른 대안을 제시한다.
