  • The goal of this research is to apply the neural networks models for the disaggregation of the pan evaporation (PE) data, Republic of Korea. The neural networks models consist of generalized regression neural networks model (GRNNM) and multilayer perceptron neural networks model (MLP-NNM), respectively. The disaggregation means that the yearly PE data divides into the monthly PE data. And, for the performances of the neural networks models, they are composed of training and test performances, respectively. The training and test performances consist of the only historic data, respectively. From this research, we evaluate the impact of GRNNM and MLP-NNM for the disaggregation of the nonlinear time series data. We should, furthermore, construct the credible data of the monthly PE data from the disaggregation of the yearly PE data, and can suggest the methodology for the irrigation and drainage networks system.

  • Creep characteristic is an important failure mechanism when evaluating engineering materials that are soft as polymers or used as mechanical elements at high temperatures. One of the popular thermo-elastic plastics, Polyethylene(PE) which is used broadly for engineering purposes, as it has good properties and merits compared to other plastics, was studied for creep characteristic at various level of stresses and temperatures. From the experimental results, the creep limit of PE at room temperature is 75% of tensile strength. Also the creep limits decreased exponentially as the temperatures increased, up to 50% of the melting point. Also the secondary stage among the three creep stages was nonexistent nor was there any rupture failure which occurred for many metals.

  • This study examines the possibility of early production of forage rape (cv. Akela and Velox) in the period of wintering. Bolting date was Feb. 2 to Feb. 9 in PE film house culture by non-heating and Mar. 3 to Mar. 12 in open field culture. And flowering date was Feb. 24 to Mar. 3 in PE film house culture by non-heating, so it was 30~50 days faster than the open field culture of Apr. 17 to Apr. 22. Fresh matter yield was 8, 356~4, 887 kg/10a in PE film house culture by non-heating, so it was 1, 431~1, 603 kg/10a yield increase than in the open field culture of 7, 253~7, 456 kg/10a Dry matter yield was 953~963 kg/10a in PE film house culture by non-heating, so it was 71~284 kg/10a yield increase than in the open field culture of 669~892 kg/10a.

가교포리에티렌의 물성과 가교기술

  • PE(polyethlene)가 절연재료로서 지니는 특징은 (1)전기절연성이 크고 내전압이 높다. (2)무극성분자 구조이기 때문에 특히 고주파유전특성이 우수하다. (3)내수, 내습성이 있다. (4)경량이며 비교적 기계적 특성이 좋고 가격도 저렴한 편이다. 등등이라 하겠다. (1)(3)(4)등과 같은 특징을 중시하여 전력 cable의 절연피복으로 사용되었으며 (2)의 특징에 유의하여서는 통신선의 피복재로 애용되고 있다. 그러나 PE의 단점은 일반 타수지와 마찬가지로 부열성이 약한 점이다 .실로 저밀도 PE는 110.deg.C, 고밀도 PE의 경우는 125.deg.C부근에서 녹아 흐르기 시작한다. 이와 같은 단점을 개선하는 방법으로 분자쇄간을 가교시켜 3차원적 망상 구조로 만들어 고온에서의 분자쇄유동을 억제함으로 내열성을 높이는 기술이 개발되어 왔으며 이를 위한 가교방법은 방사선조사에 의한 물리적 방법과 과산화물을 사용하는 화학적 방법으로 대별할 수 있다. 이와 같이 가교된 PE는 다만 열 특성만이 향상될 뿐더러, 전기적, 기계적 특성에도 변화를 초래하기 때문에 여기에서 실용적 견지에 입각하여 가교포리에티렌의 물성 및 이것을 중심으로한 가교 방법 일반에 대한 개요를 소개하고저 한다.

Thermally Stimulated Currents of PE/Ionomer Blends (PE/Ionomer블렌드의 열자격 전류)

  • The behavior of space charge in PE/ionomer blends has been investigated using the thermally stimulated current (TSC) technique. In the blends, at least two TSC peaks over the temperature range from -50 to 100\ulcorner are observed, one at -5 ~ 10\ulcorner (a peak) and the others at above 60\ulcorner (a peak). The a peak is assigned as the orientation of dipoles from the ionomer component. Two a peaks seem to be related to the charge trapping at sites related to the crystalline phases. One a peak is associated with the ionic interfaces and the other with the ethylene chains without the ionic interfaces. The amount of charges stored in PE/Surlyn 1652 blends increases as the poling field increases over the field range of +8 ~ +30 kV/mm, whereas that in PE/Surlyn 1601 blends increases slightly at low poling fields and then decreases at high poling fields above +10 kV/mm. Exact reasons for such a dirrerence are not known at this point.

  • The electrical properties such as space charge accumulation, dielectric breakdown and water treeing of acrylic acid-grafted polyethylene (PE-g-AA) and n-butyl acrylate-grafted polyethylene (PE-g-nBA) were investigated. In PE-g-AA, heterocharge founded in LDPE decreased with the increase of AA graft ratio and changed to the homocharge formation above 0.lwt% due to the introduction of carbonyls. Conduction currents decreased with the increase of AA graft ratio. AC breakdown strength increased and water treeing length decreased with the increase of graft ratio in PE-g-AA and PE-g-nBA.

  • Alkoxyamine and thiocarbonyl thio end capped polyethylene (PE) chains were synthesized using a direct and simple approach consisting in reacting di(polyethylenyl)magnesium (PE-Mg-PE) chains with a range of nitroxides and disulfides of thiocarbonyl thio compounds. PE-Mg-PE compounds were prepared by a catalyzed chain growth reaction of ethylene on nbutyloctylmagnesium (BOMg) with a neodymocene complex $(C_{5}Me_{5})_{2}NdCl_{2}Li(OEt_{2})_{2}$. Complete characterizations confirm the introduction of the desired end groups. The controlled radical polymerization (NMP and RAFT) of butyl acrylate mediated by these functional polyethylenes was successful.

The neural networks models consist of the support vector machines neural networks model (SVM-NNM) and multilayer perceptron neural networks model (MLP-NNM), respectively. The SVM-NNM in time series modeling is relatively new and it is more problematic in comparison with classifications. In this study, The disaggregation means that the yearly PE data divides into the monthly PE data. And, for the performances of the neural networks models, they are composed of training, cross validation, and testing data, respectively. From this research, we evaluate the impact of the SVM-NNM and the MLP-NNM for the disaggregation of the nonlinear time series data. We should, furthermore, construct the credible data of the monthly PE data from the disaggregation of the yearly PE data, and can suggest the methodology for the irrigation and drainage networks system.
