BiPbSrCaCuO 초전도 벌크의 Magnetic Suspension (Magnetic Suspension Effect of BiPbSrCaCuO Superconducting Bulk)

  • Magnetic suspension effect has been studied by using superconductor of BiPbSrCaCuO ceramics containing Ag$_2$O. Magnetic flux measurements of a toroidal magnet revealed a concave shaped field distribution with a null field along the axis of the torus at the point where the field reversed. The suspension effect was observed only for the Ag$_2$O doped and field cooled sample which is attributed to the enhanced flux pinning due to the field cooled condition. It has been cleared that Ag$_2$O acts as pinning center which plays an important role to the magnetic suspension effect. Magnetic repulsive force which affects a superconductor located in magnetic flux from toroidal magnet has been investigated. It has been concluded that the magnetic suspension effect arises from the interaction between the pinning effect and the diamagnetic effect.

  • Synthesis of the ferroelectromagnetic material exhibiting ferromagnetism and ferroelectricity simultaneously has been an interesting subject due to not only for a possible application in electronic devices but also from the view point of solid state physics. In this study bulk ceramics and thin films of xBiFeO$_3$-yPrFeO$_3$-zPbTiO$_3$(x+y+z=1) and (1-w)BiFeO$_3$-wPbTiO$_3$ have been explored for finding ferroelectromagnetic material, in which ferroelectricity and ferromagnetism coexist simultaneously. BiPbSrCaCuO 초전도 자기검출소자 (Magnetic Field Sensor using BiPbSrCaCuO Superconductor)

  • The magnetic field sensor was fabricated with superconducting ceramics of BiPbSrCaCuO system. The sensor at liquid nitrogen temperature showed the increase of electrical resistance by applying magnetic field. Actually, the voltage drop across the sensor was changed from zero to a value more than 100 $\mu\textrm{V}$ by the applied magnetic field. The change of electrical resistance depended on magnetic field. The sensitivity of this sensor was 2.9 $\Omega$/T. The sensing limit was about 1.5${\times}$10$\^$-5/ T. The increase of electrical resistance by the magnetic field was ascribed to a modification of the Josephson junctions due to the penetrating magnetic flux into the superconducting material. Considering the observed properties of the superconductor with trapped magnetic flux, a magnetic sensor was fabricated to detect simultaneously both the intensity and the direction of the magnetic field.

  • The Electromagnetic properties in BiPbSrCaCuO superconductor was studied. In the measurement of current-voltage characteristics, a voltage across the superconducting sample was observed on applying an external magnetic field. The voltage continues to appear the removal of the magnetic field. The appearance of the voltage is ascribed to the trapping of magnetic flux. Depanding on the direction of appied magnetic flux less than $2.5\times{10}^-5$ T, the voltage in the magnetized sample increases or decreases. It is considered that mechanism of voltage occurrence can be explained by applying filament model.

Neutron Spectrum Effects on TRU Recycling in Pb-Bi Cooled Fast Reactor Core

  • This study is intended to evaluate the dependency of TRU recycling characteristics on the neutron spectrum shift in a Pb-Bi cooled core. Considering two Pb-Bi cooled cores with the soft and the hard spectrum, respectively, various characteristics of the recycled core are carefully examined and compared with each other. Assuming very simplified fuel cycle management with the homogeneous and single region fuel loading, the burnup calculations are performed until the recycled core reached to the (quasi-) equilibrium state. The mechanism of TRU recycling toward the equilibrium is analyzed in terms of burnup reactivity and the isotopic compositions of TRU fuel. In the comparative analyses, the difference in the recycling behavior between the two cores is clarified. In addition, the basic safety characteristics of the recycled core are also discussed in terms of the Doppler coefficient, the coolant loss reactivity coefficient, and the effective delayed neutron fraction.

Bi(Me)$O_3$의 치환에 따른 $(1-x)PbZrO_3-xPbTiO_3$세라믹 재료의 압전특성 및 큐리온도 변화

  • PZT(Pb(Zr, Ti)$O_3$ 압전세라믹스는 뛰어난 압전 특성과 강유전 특성을 가지고 있어서 현재 널리 사용되고 있다. 하지만 PZT세라믹스는 큐리온도 이상에서 그 특성을 잃게 되고 높은 온도에서의 응용이 제한된다. 따라서 높은 큐리온도를 가지는 압전체를 개발하기 위한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. $PbTiO_3$의 경우에는 $Bi(Zn_{0.5}Ti_{0.5})$, $BiFeO_3$등의 Bi계 세라믹스를 치환하면서 큐리온도가 올라가는 결과가 보고되고 있다. 하지만 이것은 PZT세라믹스 보다 압전 및 유전 특성이 상당히 낮다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 $(1-x)PbZrO_3-xPbTiO_3$조성에 Bi(Me)$O_3$(Me:Zn, Ti, Fe, Al)를 치환하여 압전특성 및 강유전 상전이 온도를 조사하였다. 모든 시편들은 고상반응법으로 제조하였고, 제조한 시편으로 조성에 따른 압전특성 및 유전특성의 변화를 측정하였다. 그리고 이를 통해 큐리온도는 PZT의 MPB조성근처에서 Bi계 세라믹의 치환은 $T_C$가 낮아 졌으나, Tetragonal 상을 가지고 있는 Ti-rich인 조성에서는 $T_C$가 높아지는 것을 관찰하였다.

리플로우 솔더링 공정 조건에 따른 Sn-Bi-Ag와 Sn-Ag-Cu 복합 무연 솔더 접합부 특성 연구 (A Study on Properties of Pb-free Solder Joints Combined Sn-Bi-Ag with Sn-Ag-Cu by Conditions of Reflow Soldering Processes)

  • 본 연구에서는 용융온도가 중온계 무연 솔더인 Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu(SAC305)와 저온계 무연 솔더인 Sn-57Bi-1Ag를 사용하여 형성된 복합 무연 솔더 접합부의 특성에 대하여 보고 하였다. SAC305 솔더볼이 형성된 ball grid array(BGA) 패키지와 Sn-57Bi-1Ag 솔더 페이스트가 도포된 flame retardant-4(FR-4) 인쇄회로기판(printed circuit board, PCB)을 리플로우 솔더링 공정을 이용하여 복합 무연 솔더 접합부를 형성 하였다. 공정 온도 프로파일을 두 가지 형태로 달리하여 리플로우 솔더링 공정을 진행하였으며 리플로우 솔더링 공정 조건에 따른 계면 반응, 금속간화합물(intermetallic compound, IMC)의 형성, Bi의 확산 거동 등 복합 무연 솔더 접합부 계면 특성을 비교 분석 하였다. 또한, 열 충격 시험을 통하여 리플로우 솔더링 공정에 따른 복합 무연 솔더 접합부의 신뢰성 특성을 비교하고 열 충격 시험 전후 전단 시험을 진행하여 접합부의 기계적 특성 변화를 분석하였다.

분말 제조공정에 따른 n형 PbTe 가압소결체의 열전특성 (Thermoelectric Properties of the Hot-Pressed n-Type PbTe with the Powder Processing Method)

  • Bi를 첨가한 n형 PbTe 가압소결체를 기계적 합금화 공정으로 제조하여, 소결 특성과 열전특성을 분석하고 이를 용해/분쇄법으로 제조한 PbTe가압소결체와 비교하였다. 기계적 합금화 공정으로 제조한 PbTe가압소결체에는 용해/분쇄법으로 제조한 시편에 비해 Seebeck계수가 음의 값으로 증가하였으며, 전기비저항이 증가하고 열전도도가 감소하였다. 또한 기계적 합금화 공정으로 제조한 PbTe에서 최대성능지수가 증가하였으며, \ulcorner대성능지수를 나타내는 온도가 저온으로 이동하였다. 0.3wt% Bi를 첨가한 PbTe를 $650^{\circ}C$에서 가압소결시 기계적 합금화 공정으로 제조한 시편은 $200^{\circ}C$에서 $1.33\times10^{-3}/K$의 최대성능지수를 나타내었으며, 용해/분쇄법으로 제조한 시편은 $400^{\circ}C$에서 $1.07\times10^{-3}/K$의 최대성능지수를 나타내었다.
