The objectives of this study Is to evaluate the total runoff yield, peak flow and peak flow travel time depending on the urbanization, return period and rainfall patterns at the downstream of Manchon urban watershed in TaeGu City. SWM(Storm Water Management Model) is used for runog analysis based on 5 different steps of urbanization and 4 different types of Hufrs quartile according to 8 return periods. It is analyzed that the order of total runoff yield according to raiun patterns is Huffs 4, Huffs 2. Huffs 3 and Huffs 1 quartile, that of peak flow magnitude is Huffs 2, Huffs 1, Huffs 4 and Huffs 3 quartile at present development ratio. under the 60, 70, 80 and 90ft of urbanization to the 50% of urbanization by means of the rainfall patterns, the mean Increasing ratio of total runoff yield for each case is 4.55, 11.43, 16.07 and 20.02%, that of peak flow is 5.82, 13.61, 17.15 and 18.83%, the mean decreasing ratio of peak flow travel time Is 0.00, 2.44, 5.07 and 6.26%, the mean increasing ratio of runoff depth Is 4.51, 11.42, 16.02 and 20.05% respectively. the mean increasing ratio of total runoff yield by means of each and 19.71%. Therefore, as the result of this study. it can be used for principal data as to storm sewage treatment and flood damage protection planning in urban small watershed.
We propose a simple identification scheme for the causes of the violations of uncovered interest parity. Our method uses the serial dependence patterns of excess returns as a criterion for judging performance of economic models. We show that a mean reverting component in excess returns, representing a violation of uncovered interest parity, mainly contributes to generating different serial dependence patterns of excess returns: rational expectations risk premium models tend to generate negative serial dependence of excess returns, while expectational errors models tend to generate positive serial dependence.

We proposed a novel electromagnetic band-gap (EBG) cell-embedded antenna structure for reducing the interference that radiates at the antenna edge in wireless access in vehicular environment (WAVE) communication systems for vehicle-to-everything communications. To suppress the radiation of surface waves from the ground plane and vehicle, EBG cells were inserted between micropatch arrays. A simulation was also performed to determine the optimum EBG cell structure located above the ground plane in a conformal linear microstrip patch array antenna. The characteristics such as return loss, peak gain, and radiation patterns obtained using the fabricated EBG cell-embedded antenna were superior to those obtained without the EBG cells. A return loss of 35.14 dB, peak gain of 10.15 dBi at 80°, and improvement of 2.037 dB max at the field of view in the radiation beam patterns were obtained using the proposed WAVE antenna.
A $Y_1Ba_2Cu_3O_{7-\delta}$ square spiral microstrip antenna (YBCO antenna) was epitaxially grown on a $LaAlO_3$ substrate by laser ablation. Also fabricated was a gold square spiral microstrip antenna (gold antenna) having the same structure as that of the YBCO antenna in order to compare the properties of both antennas. Both the YBCO antenna and the gold antenna were operated in Ku (12-18 GHz) band, and their properties such as the return loss, SWR, power gain, and radiation patterns were investigated at 77 K. The return loss below -10 dB was obtained in two frequency ranges, i.e., 14.05-14.90 GHz, and 16-18 GHz for the YBCO antenna at 77 K (YBCO superconducting antenna), and in the frequency range of 15.05-17.60 GHz for the gold antenna at 77 K. The SWR bandwidths are 0.85 GHz and 2 GHz for the YBCO superconducting antenna, and 2.55 GHz for the gold antenna at 77 K. The gain improvement of the superconducting YBCO antenna over the gold antenna at 77 K was about 10 dB in the frequency range of 16 GHz to 18 GHz. The radiation patterns show the YBCO superconducting antenna has the omni-directional property of a spiral antenna.

This paper suggests an automatic approach to extracting Java method implementation patterns associated with method identifiers using Cascade K-Medoids. Java method implementation patterns indicate recurring implementations for achieving the purpose described in the method identifier with the given parameters and return type. If the implementation is different from the purpose, readers of the code tend to take more time to comprehend the method, which eventually affects to the increment of software maintenance cost. In order to automatically identify implementation patterns and its representative sample code, we first propose three groups of feature vectors for characterizing the Java method signature, method body and their relation. Then, we apply Cascade K-Medoids by enhancing the K-Medoids algorithm with the Calinski and Harrabasez algorithm. As the evaluation of our approach, we identified 16,768 implementation patterns of 7,169 method identifiers from 50 open source projects. The implementation patterns have been validated by the 30 industrial practitioners with from 1 to 6 years industrial experience, resulting in 86% of the precision.
In today's uncertain economic environment, economic risk is inherent in making large investments on manufacturing facilities. It is, therefore, practically meaningful to divide investment over multiple periods, reducing the risk of investment. Then, the cash-flow over the entire planning horizon would comprise positive inflow and negative outflow. In this case, in general, evaluation by internal rate of return (IRR) is not feasible, because multiple IRRs are involved. This paper deals with a problem of evaluating profitability, as well as risk, of investment alternatives made in multiple times of investment over the entire horizon. Typically, an additional investment is required after the initial one, for expanding manufacturing capacity or other reasons. The paper pays attention to a unit cash-flow over two periods, decomposing the total cash-flow into a series of unit cash-flow patterns. It is easy to evaluate profitability of a unit cash-flow by using IRR. The total cash-flow can be decomposed into the series of two types of unit cash-flows: an investment type one (negative-positive) and the borrowing type one (positive-negative). This paper, therefore, proposes a method in which only the borrowing type unit cash-flow is eliminated in the series by converting total cash-flow using capital interest rate. Then, a unique IRR can be obtained and the profitability is evaluated. Thus, the paper extends the method of IRR so that it may help decision making in complicated cash-flow pattern observed in practice.

Aperture-coupled microstrip antenna is one type of microstrip antennas. This type of antenna has bandwidth wider than simple microstrip antenna. Herein, we use two substrates, that have the same dielectric constant 2.47 (PTFE-quartz) in which upper substrate is a rectangular patch. The microstrip patch is fed by a microstrip line which is printed on lower substrate, through an aperture or slot in the common ground plane of patch and microstrip feed. This antenna is analyzed by using Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method the specific design frequency 10 GHz and match impedance is 50 ohms. The simulation results of its characteristics are input impedance, return loss, VSWR and radiation patterns respectively.

In this paper, we improve the matching impedance of antennas by inserting parasitic slots on the ground plane of right-angle triangular slot antennas. The designed antennas characteristics are analyzed by using Finite Different Time Domain (FDTD) method, the specific design frequency is 10 GHz and match impedance is 50 ohms. Simulation results show that the efficient of return loss and radiation patterns are improved and enhance. In this case, the right-angle triangular slot antennas with parasitic slots have matching impedance better than antennas without parasitic slots.
The black-tailed gull chicks, Larus crassirostris, recognize various adult voice signal base on the simple patterns. We investigated behavior change in black-tailed gull chicks through physical manipulation of mew call. They were playback in four situations differing in physical character: 1) frequency manipulation only, 2) duration manipulation only, 3) call intensity(dB) manipulation only, and 4) call interval manipulation only. We observed occurrence of different response of the chicks, which were categorized into two behaviors(hidden and return behavior). The manipulated frequency, duration, and intensity were directly correlated. The chicks exposed to only manipulated call interval(0.5, 1sec) made significantly more hidden and return behavior. Adult black-tailed gull only increased flight time on manipulated call interval. The results suggest that black-tailed gulls use short call interval for alarm signal. The analysis of alarm signal provides an important on basic study of bird strike.
