In the synthesis of the current source distribution function of an array antenna with the arbitrary radiation pattern, the Woodward-Lawson sampling method has been mainly used for the synthesis of an even function lobe pattern. In this paper, the method is extended to the synthesis of the odd function pattern and then the optimum synthesis method for the nonlinear source distribution function is proposed. The proposed method is applied to the design of nonuniform transmission lines with arbitrary reflection responses. The both dispersive impedance profiles of single and coupled nonuniform lines with arbitrary reflection responses are directly synthesized by the sampled values of a reflected spectral pattern which is optimally shaped by a perturbation of its complex null positions, hence removing the conventional step-by-step segmentation process and global optimization routines. The control problem in the case that all of port impedances are identical is also solved. The generality of the proposed method is verified by a filter design with the controlled arbitrary passband

In this paper, a monopole antenna of conical-cylindrical compound shape is presented. The conventional circular conical monopole antenna is modified by placing a cylinder at the top of the inverted cone. The cylindrical portion is useful in the wide band impedance matching, in adjusting the antenna gain in the horizontal direction, and in reducing the cone diameter. The dependence of the antenna performance on various geometric parameters is investigated using a commercial electromagnetic simulation software, from which an optimum design of the antenna is derived. The diameter of the circular ground plane is minimized to 115 wavelength at the lowest operating frequency. The antenna proposed in this study shows a reflection coefficient less than -10 dB and a 1${\sim}$6 dBi gain over 3${\sim}$20 GHz frequencies. The antenna shows a circular-symmetric radiation pattern in the horizontal plane and a null-free pattern in the vertical direction over the whole operating frequency range.

Radar system must estimate exactly quickness and target in interference channel. Because interference of radio channel is multipath channel by artificial structure and nature structure. signal estimation is difficult. As long as, get rid of interference signal have been study digital beamforming, adaptive array antenna and so on. In this paper, proposed SPT-SALCMV beamforming algorithm get rid of coherent interference algorithm and adaptive array antenna. Adaptive array forms null pattern and reduces gains for direction of interference signal. And estimate signal that want by keeping gains of beam pattern changelessly to target signal direction. In this paper, proposed SPT-SALCMV algorithm was exactly received position of target. But general SPT-LCMV algorithm resulted beam error about 30degrees. Therefore, proved that SPT-SALCMV algerian that propose in this paper is more excellent than genaral SPT-LCMV algorithm.

A modified transmission line model is proposed for input impedance analysis of a square microstip antenna with single-circularly-polarized. Alog-periodic arrangement with microstrip antenna (LPMA) which consists of 3 resonant element ($3\times1$) is designed for broadband operation ranging from 11.2 GHz to 12.4 GHz, based on this pro- posed model from transmission line model. Aplanar array ($3\times4$array), in which 4sets of the above LPMA are in the same plane, is fabricated for high gain X-band satellite communication antennas. The optimum spacing between each LPMA is determined using computer simulation for the minimum bariation of far field pattern and null. This $3\times4$array has a measured values of gain greater than 8dBi, VSWR les then 2.3, and bandwidth greater than 7% respectively.

A binary line code, called MB46d, is designed by use of the BUDA(Binary Unit DSV and ASV) cell concept to retain the property of being runlength limited, DC tree, and with a power spectral null at the Nyquist frequency. This new code is a stateless line code with a simple encoding and a decoding rule and enables efficient error monitoring. The power spectrum and the eye pattern of the new line code are simulated for a minimum-bandwidth digital transmission system where the sinc function is used as a basic pulse. The obtained power null at the Nyquist frequency is wide enough to enable easy band-limiting as well as secure insertion of a clock pilot where necessary. The eye is also substantially wide to tolerate a fair amount of timing jitter in the receiver.

In this paper, we proposed a miniaturized folded inverted F antenna with ISM-band (center frequency : 447 MHz) for mounting in intelligent parking sensor. First, to mount the antenna in the intelligent parking sensor module (72 mm × 70 mm) with limited size, a folded inverted F antenna was designed at low frequency 447 MHz (wavelength λ : 670 mm) of the ISM-band. As a result, it resonates in the ISM band and obtains suitable characteristic with a -10 dB bandwidth of 13 MHz (2.9%). In addition, the H-plane pattern by the vertical and horizontal elements represents the omni-directional patterns from which the null point is removed, and the E-plane has directivity in a specific direction. Finally, it is suitable as and antenna for vehicle management in parking lots.

In this paper, an active antenna module operating in the 60 GHz band is designed and fabricated by combining a commercial transmitter chip and patch array antenna. The designed module is composed of an antenna PCB and a PCB with a transmitter chip. The frequency-control and bias-control signals are applied to the transmitter chip, using an Arduino kit. A baseband I/Q signal is also applied to the chip. A ring hybrid balun converts the output of the transmitter module to a single output, which is the output of the transmitter chip that outputs a differential output. The output is delivered to the $2{\times}4$ microstrip patch array antenna PCB as a micro-computer connector. The radiation pattern of the millimeter-wave signal of the final output is compared with the simulation results. The measured radiation patterns of the fabricated active antenna module confirm that the positions of the 3 dB beam width and null point agree well with the simulation results.
Objective: Nanog homeobox (NANOG) is a core transcription factor that contributes to pluripotency along with octamer binding transcription factor-4 (OCT4) and sex determining region-Y box-2 (SOX2). It is an epiblast lineage marker in mammalian pre-implantation embryos and exhibits a species-specific expression pattern. Therefore, it is important to understand the lineage of NANOG, the trophectoderm, and the primitive endoderm in the pig embryo. Methods: A loss- and gain-of-function analysis was done to determine the role of NANOG in lineage specification in parthenogenetic porcine blastocysts. We analyzed the relationship between NANOG and pluripotent core transcription factors and other lineage makers. Results: In NANOG-null late blastocysts, OCT4-, SOX2-, and SOX17-positive cells were decreased, whereas GATA binding protein 6 (GATA6)-positive cells were increased. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction revealed that the expression of SOX2 was decreased in NANOG-null blastocysts, whereas that of primitive endoderm makers, except SOX17, was increased. In NANOG-overexpressing blastocysts, caudal type homeobox 2 (CDX2-), SOX17-, and GATA6-positive cells were decreased. The results indicated that the expression of primitive endoderm markers and trophectoderm-related genes was decreased. Conclusion: Taken together, the results demonstrate that NANOG is involved in the epiblast and primitive endoderm differentiation and is essential for maintaining pluripotency within the epiblast.
We denote by $\mathcal{Q}(A)$ the set of all matrices with the same sign pattern as A. A matrix A has signed -space provided there exists a set S of sign patterns such that the set of sign patterns of vectors in the -space of e $\tilde{A}$ is S, for each e $\tilde{A}{\in}\mathcal{Q}(A)$. In this paper, we show that the number of sign patterns of elements in the row space of $\mathcal{S}^*$-matrix is $3^{m+1}-2^{m+2}+2$. Also the number of sign patterns of vectors in the -space of a totally L-matrix is obtained.
This paper concerns the dynamical behavior, in probabilistic sense, of a feedforward neural network performing auto association for novelty. Networks of retinotopic topology having a one-to-one correspondence between and output units can be readily trained using back-propagation algorithm, to perform autoassociative mappings. A novelty filter is obtained by subtracting the network output from the input vector. Then the presentation of a "familiar" pattern tends to evoke a null response ; but any anomalous component is enhanced. Such a behavior exhibits a promising feature for enhancement of weak signals in additive noise. As an analysis of the novelty filtering, this paper shows that the probability density function of the weigh converges to Gaussian when the input time series is statistically characterized by nonsymmetrical probability density functions. After output units are locally linearized, the recursive relation for updating the weight of the neural network is converted into a first-order random differential equation. Based on this equation it is shown that the probability density function of the weight satisfies the Fokker-Planck equation. By solving the Fokker-Planck equation, it is found that the weight is Gaussian distributed with time dependent mean and variance.
