  • The objective of this study is to estimate and to compensate for the volumetric error of a machine tool. In this paper, the volumetric error is defined and error synthesis model is presented. Then, the volumetric error of workpiece is compared through the virtual machining and a new tool-path is generated to compensate for the error in the post-processor of CAM system using the error synthesis model. By this method, the error is compensated without modification or replacement of a machine tool being in use.

  • In this paper, we propose a new double talk detection algorithm which detects near end signals with less degradation, tracking echo path variation of echo canceler simultaneously. Our method makes use of a cross-correlation between channel input signals and estimated error signals and a normalized cross-correlation between microphone input signals and estimated error signals. By combing thresholds for these cross-correlations pertinently, this algorithm discriminates between variation of echo path and occurrence of double talk. These two cross-correlation are used to detect double talk periods, tracking echo path variation. During the detection period, adjustive adaptive filter is ceased to prevent the echo canceler from being disturbed by near end signals. Also, the echo canceler will still be kept on for tracking any variation in echo path. Through computer simulation results, it was confirmed that the proposed algorithm shows better performance, tracking echo path variation and detecting the double talk periods, than the Ye et. al's and the NLMS algorithms from ERLE viewpoint.

  • In this paper, we have analyzed the error performance of OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing 16 QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) Signal in a multipath fading environment modeled as frequency selective Rician fading. We have used a three-path model as frequency selective Rician fading used Rician parameter K. A BCH channel coding is used in order to improve the performance. From the result of this analysis, we have known the improvement of the error performance improvement and the error correcting capability by the BCH channel coding. From the results, the error performance, about $10^{-6},$ required in wireless multimedia communications can not be achieved by using only the BCH channel coding technique so that it should be adopted a new technique together.

  • Moving pixel displacement detection algorithm using correlation functions for making panorama image on the continuous images is presented in this paper. The input images get from a CMOS image sensor (CIS). The camera is maintained by constant brightness and uniform sensing area in test input pattern. For simple navigation and capture image has to 70% overlapped region. A correlation rate in two image data is evaluated by using reference image with first captures, and compare image with next captures. The displacement of the two images are expressed to second order function of x, y and solved with finding the coefficient in second order function. That results in the change in the peak correlation displacement from the reference to the compare image, is moving to pixel length. The navigating error is reduced by varying the path because the error is shown in the difference of the positioning vector between the true pixel position and the navigated pixel position. The algorithm performance is evaluated to be different from the error vector to vary the navigating path grid.

  • The growing need for higher precision and productivity in manufacturing industry has lead to an increased interest in computer numerical control (CNC) systems. It is well known fact that the cross-coupling controller (CCC) is an effective method for contouring applications. In this paper, a multi-axis contour error controller (CEC) based on a contour error vector using parametric curve interpolator is introduced. The contour error vector is a vector from the actual tool position to the nearest point on the desired path. The contour error vector is the closest error model to the contour error. The simulation results show that the CEC is more accurate than the conventional CCC for a biaxial motion system. In addition, the experimental results on 3-axis motion system show that the CEC is simply applied to 3-axis motions and contouring accuracy is significantly improved.

  • Geometrical error of ultra-precision machining due to spherical tool alignment error is analyzed. Deviation of spherical edge, ranged several ten micrometers, generates vertical and horizontal error of tool path and affects profile accuracy of machined surface. Simulation of machined error shows effect of tool alignment error and enables to estimate alignment error. This work provides technical insights into the minimizing of geometrical error of ultra-precision machining.

  • An error analysis is very important to estimate performance of a precision machine. This study proposes an error analysis for a new parallel device, a cubic parallel device. The cubic parallel manipulator has error sources including upper and lower universal joint errors due to the directional changes in the link and actuation errors. The maximum errors of the end effector are affected by the axial direction changes of each links and the clearances of the universal joints when the parallel manipulator is moving along a path. It is found that the changes of errors mostly occur at the positions where the directions of exerting link forces shift. The error analysis is based on an error model formed from the relation between the universal point errors and the end-effector accuracy. The analysis method can be also used in predicting the accuracy of other parallel devices.

  • Recently the use of wireless network increases according to it solves the hand-off and with path loss, pading, noise etc of wireless network the research for transmission error improvement is developed. TCP and SCTP of standard where it guarantees the reliability of wire network apply in wireless network the congestion control, flow control mechanism used it decreases the efficiency of data transfer throughputs. In this paper, It mixes SCTP and SNOOP for SCTP apply on wireless network, to improve BS(Basic Station) operation processes when the transmission error occurs in wireless network. BS send ZWP(Zero Window Probe) to MN(Mobile Node) when the transmission error occurs so, check path and status and update RWND and error status checked. It selects the new path, send ZWA(Zero Window Advertisement) to FH(Fixed Host) and the prevents call to congestion control or flow control and it does to make wait status standing. Continuously of data transfer after the connection of wireless network is stabilized, it make increase about 10% the transmission throughput of data.

  • In active noise control (ANC) systems, the convergence behavior of the conventional Filtered-X Least Mean Square (FXLMS) algorithm may be affected by nonlinear distortions in the secondary path (e.g., in the power amplifiers, loudspeakers, transducers, etc.), which may lead to degradation of the error-reduction performance of the ANC systems. In this paper, a stable FXLMS algorithm with fast convergence is proposed to compensate for undesirable nonlinear distortions in the secondary-path of ANC systems by employing the Volterra filtering approach. In particular, the proposed approach is based on the utilization of the conventional P-th order inverse approach to nonlinearity compensation in the secondary path of ANC systems. Finally, the simulation results showed that the proposed approach yields a better convergence behavior In the nonlinear ANC systems than the conventional FXLMS.

  • This paper presents stable kinematic modeling and path planning and path tracking algorithms for the poisition control of 4-wheeled 2-d.o.f(degree of freedom) mobile robot. We drived the actuated inverse and sensed forward solution for the calculation of actuator velocity and robot velocities. the deal-reckoning algorithm is introduced to calculate the position of WMR in real time. The gaussian functions are applied to control and to design the smooth orientation angle of WMR and the path planning algorithm for obstacle avoidance is prosed. We composed feedback control system to compensate for error because of uncertainty kinematic modeling and measurement noise. The simulation resutls show that the proposed kinematkc modeling and path planning and feedback control algorithms are useful.
