Radar and Vision Sensor Fusion for Primary Vehicle Detection (레이더와 비전센서 융합을 통한 전방 차량 인식 알고리즘 개발)

  • This paper presents the sensor fusion algorithm that recognizes a primary vehicle by fusing radar and monocular vision data. In general, most of commercial radars may lose tracking of the primary vehicle, i.e., the closest preceding vehicle in the same lane, when it stops or goes with other preceding vehicles in the adjacent lane with similar velocity and range. In order to improve the performance degradation of radar, vehicle detection information from vision sensor and path prediction predicted by ego vehicle sensors will be combined for target classification. Then, the target classification will work with probabilistic association filters to track a primary vehicle. Finally the performance of the proposed sensor fusion algorithm is validated using field test data on highway.

  • Network measurement is a vital part of network traffic engineering. In a network, the metric 'capacity' characterizes the maximum throughput the path can provide when there is no traffic load, or the minimum transmission rate among all links in a path. Pathrate is one of the most widely used network capacity measurement tools nowadays. It's famous for its accurate estimation result and non restriction of the temporal network traffic condition. After several years of development, its performance becomes more stable and reliable. Extant local modes detection algorithm in pathrate is based on statistic methodology histogram. This paper suggests a new algorithm for local modes detection based on ASH (Averaged Shifted Histogram). We have implemented this algorithm and will prove it can accomplish the same task as the original one with a better result.

  • In this paper we propose an efficient robust path delay fault test genration algorithm for detection of path delay faluts in combinational ligic circuits. In the proposed robust test genration approach, the testability measure is computed for all gates in the circuit under test and these computed values are used to genrate weighted random delay test vetors for detection of path delay faults. For genrated robust test vectors, we perform fault simulation on ISCAS '85 benchmark circuits using parallel pattern technqieus. The results indicate that the proposed test genration method not only increases the number of detected robust path delay faults but also reduces the time taen to genrate robust tests.

  • Network Management become more and more important issue in the network environment in which many applications such as Mail, teleconferencing, WWW and database software are operated. It can be possible for The Bridge and flouter forwarding data to select next hop device which results in routing incorrect path from the viewpoint of network design. In this paper we address the problem of finding the detour routing path due to incorrect setting on routing devices. We propose the new algorithm for finding detour routing path based on hierarchical network structure analysis using information from SNMP MIB. To prove the correctness of the proposed algorithm we have done simulation with predefined data. Simulation results show that the algorithm finds detour path correctly

  • Adaptive echo canceller(AEC) has become an important component in speech communication systems, including mobile phones and speech recognition. In these applications, the acoustic echo path has a long impulse response. We propose a moving-averge least mean square(MVLMS) algorithm with a detection method for acoustic echo cancellation. Using, the result of the tests that used colored input models clearly shows that the MVLMS detection algorithm has convergence performance superior to the least mean square(LMS) detection algorithm alone. Although the computational complexity of the new MVLMS algorithm is only slightly greater than that of the standard LMS detection algorithm, the new algorithm confers a significant improvement in stability.

  • In this paper, it is discussed that the detection and tracking performance of the piecewise linear path underwater target is improved using clutter reduction algorithm in heavy clutter density environment. Through clutter reduction algorithm using Hough Transform, measurements which represent clutter features are removed and the performance of target tracking on the remaining measurements is demonstrated applying CMKF-L(Converted Measurement Kalman Filter with Linearization) as tracking filter. Algorithm performance test is conducted using simulation data and real sea-trial data and by applying the proposed algorithm in heavy clutter density environment, it is confirmed that the target is tracked consistently and stably with clutter rejected measurements.

  • According to the increasing interest and demand for the Autonomous Surface Vessels (ASV), the autonomous navigation system is being developed such as obstacle detection, avoidance, and path planning. In general, autonomous navigation algorithm controls the ship by detecting the obstacles with various sensors and planning path for collision avoidance. This study aims to construct and prove autonomous algorithm with integrated various sensor using the Robot Operating System (ROS). In this study, the safety zone technique was used to avoid obstacles. The safety zone was selected by an algorithm to determine an obstacle-free area using 2D LiDAR. Then, drift angle of the ship was controlled by the propulsion difference of the port and starboard side that based on PID control. The algorithm performance was verified by participating in the 2020 Korea Autonomous BOAT (KABOAT).

  • The edge-chasing deadlock detection algorithm of Choudhary fails to remove the existing deadlocks after committing the transaction whose priority is lowest on the transaction wait-for path. We proposed a modified algorithm that solves this problem. In this thesis, the performance of the modified algorithm is compared with that of the Tsai's deadlock detection algorithm that uses transaction-resource graph(TR graph) using simulation approach.
