  • Companies that use a variety of software use patch management systems provided by security vendor to manage security vulnerabilities of software to improve security. System administrators monitor the vendor sites that provide new patch information to maintain the latest software versions, but it takes a lot of cost and monitoring time to find and collect patch information because the patch cycle is irregular and the structure of web page is different. In order to reduce this, studies to automate patch information collection based on keyword or web service have been conducted, but since the structure to provide patch information in vendor site is not standardized, it was applicable only to specific vendor site. In this paper, we propose a system that automates the collection of patch information by analyzing the structure and characteristics of the vendor site providing patch information and using web crawler to reduce the cost and monitoring time consumed in collecting patch information.

  • Many organizations today use patch management systems to uniformly manage software vulnerabilities. However, the patch management system does not guarantee the integrity of the patch in the process of providing the patch to the client. In this paper, we propose a method to guarantee patch integrity through dual electronic signatures. The dual electronic signatures are performed by the primary distribution server with the first digital signature and the secondary distribution server with the second digital signature. The dual electronic signature ensures ensure that there is no forgery or falsification in the patch transmission process, so that the client can verify that the patch provided is a normal patch. The dual electronic signatures can enhance the security of the patch management system, providing a secure environment for clients.

  • Texture synthesis technology has the advantages of repairing texture and structure at the same time. However, during the filling process, the size of the patch is fixed, and the content of the filling is not fully considered. In order to be able to adaptively change the patch size, we used the exemplar-based inpainting technique as the test algorithm, considering the image structure and texture, calculated the image structure patch size and texture patch size, and comprehensively determined the image patch size. This can adaptively change the patch size according to the filling content. In addition, we use multi-layer images to calculate the priority, so that the order of image repair was more stable. The proposed repair algorithm is compared with other image repair algorithms. The experimental results showed that the proposed adaptive image repair algorithm can better repair the texture and structure of the image, which proved the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

  • The aim of this paper was mainly to interpret the real information-missing patch of image by using the kriging interpolation technology of spatial statistics. The TM Image of the Jingouling Forest Farm of Wangqing Forestry Bureau of Northeast China on 1 July 1997 was used as the tested material in this paper. Based on the classification for the TM image, the information pixel-missing patch of image was interpolated by the kriging interpolation technology of spatial statistics theory under the image treatment software-ERDAS and the geographic information system software-Arc/Info. The interpolation results were already passed precise examination. This paper would provide a method and means for interpreting the information-missing patch of image.

  • In this paper, a high gain patch antenna using a single layer metamaterial superstrate with a near-to-zero refractive index (n) is proposed. Simulations for an ordinary patch antenna and our proposed metamaterial patch antenna were conducted. Our proposed metamaterial patch antenna was implemented and measured. The gain of our proposed metamaterial patch antenna is 6.77dB higher than that of an ordinary patch antenna.

  • In this paper, the characteristics of Koch island microstrip patch antenna are investigated by numerical and experimental methods. The Koch patch is fractal shaped antenna which can be characterized by two properties such as space-filling and self-similarity. Due to its space-filling property of fractal structure, the proposed Koch fractal patch antennas are smaller in size than that of conventional square patch antenna. From numerical and experimental results, it is found that as the iteration number and iteration factor of Koch patch increase, its resonance frequency becomes lower than that of conventional patch, thus contributes to antenna size reduction. In particular, when the fractal iteration factor is 1/4, the fractal antenna is 45% smaller in size than that of conventional patch, while maintaining radiation patterns comparable to those of rectangular antenna and cross polarization level is about -20~-14 dB.

  • In this paper, to improve bandwidth of microstrip antenna, we discussed the patch structure using Aperture Stacked Patch. To provid PCS service and IMT-2000 service simultaneous, a microstrip patch antenna needs impedance bandwidth of 22%. But typical microstrip patch antennas have impedance bandwidth of 3∼6%. To analyze characteristics of microstrip pach antenna, we used Ensemble of commercial software. The microsrtip patch antenna was designed and fabricated, tuned. We get following results; 650MHz(33%) of impedance bandwidth for VSWR 1.5. The measured gain of ASP microstrip antenna is 6.94dBi.

  • A low cross-polarization broadband stacked patch antenna is proposed. By means of the stacked patch configuration and probe-fed strip feed technique, the VSWR 1.2:1 bandwidth of the patch antenna is enhanced to 22% from 804 MHz to 1,002 MHz, which outperforms the other available patch antennas (<10%). Furthermore, the antenna has a cross-polarization level of less than -20 dB and a gain level of about 9 dBi across the operating bandwidth. Simulation results are compared with the measurements, and a good agreement is observed.

  • The present paper presents an array antenna of a microstrip patch for 5G applications. Four rectangular microstrip patch elements are arranged in parallel and series to form an array antenna. Two insets are made on both sides of each patch element to achieve a wide frequency bandwidth of 23.97-31.60 GHz. To attain a high gain and wider bandwidth, the microstrip patch antenna is fed using series and corporate feeding networks. Further, three director elements on top of the top-most patch elements, and one reflector element at the open end of each patch element, are added. The addition of the Yagi elements improved the overall gain and acquired a higher radiation efficiency throughout the operating frequency bandwidth, with the array antenna achieving a maximum peak gain of 8.7 dB. The proposed antenna is built on a low-loss and low-cost substrate of FR4-eproxy. The proposed antenna design with a simple structure is suitable for Internet of Things and 5G applications.
