우레탄 필름에 인쇄된 신축 가능한 전극 패턴의 특성 (Properties of Stretchable Electrode Pattern Printed on Urethane Film)

  • Currently, functional patterns are formed by screen printing on stretchable films, and they are applied to wearable and stretchable devices. In this study, three types of silver paste were prepared using three polyester binders with different Tg and molecular weights in order to impart elasticity to the conductive pattern itself. Rheological properties and DSC measurements were performed for each silver paste. Then, each silver paste was screen printing and cured by an IR dryer to evaluate adhesive strength, pencil hardness, resistance and surface shape change according to strain. As a result, it was found that the silver paste using a binder with a low Tg and a high molecular weight has the smallest resistance change depending on the strain. Namely, it was found that it is most preferable to use a binder with a low Tg and a high molecular weight as the stretchable electrode.

  • ${\alpha}$-Cyclodextrin을 사용하여 carbon paste 전극을 화학수식하였다. 화학수식전극의 특성은 P-니트로페놀과 ${\alpha}$-cyclodextrin과의 포함복합체형성을 기초로 연구하였다. 화학수식효과를 보기 위해 순환전압전류법과 시차펄스전압전류법을 사용하였다. ${\alpha}$-Cyclodextrin과 탄소분말을 2:1 의 비율로 섞은 전극에서 환원에 의한 봉우리 전류는 o-니트로페놀이나 히드로퀴논의 경우에 비해 p-니트로페놀의 경우 거의 완전히 사라졌다. 이는 p-니트로페놀과 ${\alpha}$-cyclodextrin간의 강한 포함복합체형성에 의한 것이다. 이 전극을 이용하여 p-니트로페놀 존재하에서 o-니트로페놀을 정량할 수 있었다.

Voltammetric Determination of Copper(II) at Chemically Modified Carbon Paste Electrodes Containing Alga

  • The design of appropriate chemically modified electrodes should allow development of new voltammetric measurement schemes with enhanced selectivity and sensitivity. Microorganism like algae has high ability to trap toxic and heavy metal ions and different affinities for metal ions. A copper(II) ion-selective carbon paste electrode was constructed by incorporating alga Anabaena into a conventional carbon paste mixture, and then the film of 10% Nafion was coated to avoid the swelling of the electrode surface. Copper ion could be deposited at the 25% algamodified electrode for 15 min without the applied potential while stirring the solution by only immersing the electrode in a buffer (pH 4.0) cot1taining copper(II). Temperature was controlled at $35^{\circ}C$. After preconcentration was carried out the electrode was transferred to a 0.1 M potassium chloride solution and was reduced at -0.6 volt at $25^{\circ}C$. The differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry was employed. A well-defined oxidation peak could be obtained at -0.1 volt (vs SCE). In five deposition / measurement / regeneration cycles, the responses were reproducible and relative standard deviations were 3.3% for $8.0{\times}10^{-4}M$ copper(II). Calibration curve for copper was linear over the range from $2.0{\times}10^{-4}M$ to $1.0{\times}10^{-3}M$. The detection limit was $7.5{\times}10^{-5}M$. Studies of the effect of diverse ions showed that the coexisting metal ions had little or no effect for the determination of copper. But anions such as cyanide. oxalate and EDTA seriously interfered.

Electrochemical Investigation of Bovine Hemoglobin at an Acetylene Black Paste Electrode in the Presence of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate

  • Electrochemical behaviors of bovine hemoglobin (Hb) at an acetylene black paste electrode based on the enhancement effect of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) were investigated. In the optimal conditions, a very weak reduction peak was observed at an acetylene black paste electrode for hemoglobin in the absence of SDS. However, the reduction peak current increased remarkably after the addition of 4.0 × 10?4 mol L?1 SDS, suggesting that SDS exhibits obvious enhancement effect to the determination of hemoglobin. All the experimental parameters, such as pH value, concentration of SDS, accumulation time and accumulation potential were optimized for hemoglobin analysis. The proposed method possesses high sensitivity (detection limit is 3.0 × 10?9 mol L?1), wide linearity (6.0 × 10?9 to 6.0 × 10?7 mol L?1), rapid response and low cost. Finally, the method was successfully employed to determine hemoglobin in a spiked sample.

SiNx 층이 코팅된 Si Wafer에 바인더 종류에 따른 Ag 페이스트의 인쇄 특성 (Printing Properties of Ag Paste with the Variation of Binder on the SiNx Coated Si Wafer)

  • Ag paste has been used in the front electrode of the Si-solar cell. It is composed by Ag powder, glass frit, binder, solvent and dispersant. The role of the binder and the solvent is to make a flow and a printing property. However, it was not enough to report the printing properties with the variation of binder in the controled viscosity. In this study, we selected 3 kinds of typical binder which were used as binder for the paste in the industry, such as Ethyl cellulose, Hydroxypropyl cellulose and Acrylic. Ag pastes using these were prepared, controled viscosity and printed on the SiNx coated Si wafer. In the 'A paste' used Acrylic binder, printed hight was highest and 'H paste' used Hydroxypropyl cellulose binder was lowest. Because 'H paste' was high viscosity due to the molecular weight, the solvent was added in the paste to control the viscosity. Therefore, the content of solid was lower in 'H paste'. The relative pattern width which is related to the spreading of paste was the best in the case of 'H paste' and 'EH paste' at $30^{\circ}C$. It is thought that the optimization of the relative pattern width is possible for a paste by the controling shear thinning phenomenon. In the case of 'A paste', though printing hight was best, the pattern width was dependant on the temperature.

반도성 PTC $BaTiO_3$ 세라믹에서 전극의 접촉 저항 및 퇴화 (Contact Resistance and Electrode Degradation on Semiconducting PTC $BaTiO_3$ Ceramics)

  • The electrode resistance of semiconducting PTC BaTiO3 ceramic material was studied in some detail. Comme-rical In-Ag paste In-Ga alloy and electroless plated Ni as well as evaporated Al were chosen as electrode. The contact resistance of electroded samples were measured by both dc resistivity and ac impedance analysis. The aging effect on contact resistance under cyclic loading from -1$0^{\circ}C$ to 85$^{\circ}C$ was also monitored for the prolonged period of time. In case of Al electroded samples the heat treatment and protective coating had effects on the stability against contact resistance degradation. It was also found that the samples with commercial In-Ag paste and electroless plated Ni electrode had good properties of contact resistance against aging.

  • Carbon paste electrodes, modified with podands containing more than two sulfur atoms, have been employed for the voltammetric determination of Ag(I) ion from aqueous solution. The voltammetric response was characterized with respect to paste composition, preconcentration method, kind of anion, variation of pH, Ag(I) ion concentration, and possible interferences. Linear calibration curves were obtained for Ag(I) ion concentration ranging from $1.0{\times}10^{-6}$ to $9.0{\times}10^{-5}M$, and detection limit was $5.0{\times}10^{-7}M$.

  • Carbon paste electrodes, modified with 5,6,14,15-dibenzo-1,4-dioxa-8,12-diazacyclopentadeca-5,14-diene containing different ligating atoms of oxygen and nitrogen, have been employed for the voltammetric determination of Ag(I) ion from aqueous solution. The voltammetric response was characterized with respect to paste composition, preconcentration method, kind of anion, variation of pH, Ag(I) ion concentration, and possible interferences. 이산화납/탄소 반죽 전극을 이용한 과당 농도 측정 스트립센서 (A Strip Sensor Based on PbO2/Carbon Paste Electrode to Determine Sweetener Contents in Fruits)

  • 본 연구에서는 스크린 프린팅 방법을 이용하여 이산화납($PbO_2$)/탄소 반죽 전극을 제작하고, 이를 전기화학 방법의 과일 천연당(포도당, 자당, 과당) 측정용 센서로 이용하였다. 이산화납/탄소 반죽전극은 탄수화물과 같은 유기화합물의 전기화학적 산화촉매 신호를 측정함으로써 효소를 사용하지 않고도 당의 측정이 가능하다. 또한 측정 시 심각한 방해작용을 하는 아스코르브산(ascorbic acid)은 Nafion 막을 전극표면에 도입함으로써 효과적으로 감소시켰다. 최적화된 Nafion/이산화납/탄소 반죽 전극은 사람이 느끼는 상대당도(과당>자당>포도당)와 유사하게 각 당에 대한 감응신호를 나타내었다.
