Pomegranate (Punica granatum) is one of the worlds most ancient fruits, and also one of the most botanically isolated, comprising a single family (Punicae) with its rare relative, Punica protopunica, a species limited in occurrence to the island of Socotra off the coast of Yemen. Pomegranate, though, is extremely well known, flourishes in many parts of the world, is traditionally prized for its medicinal properties and widely regarded as Symbol: of fecundity, longevity, spirituality and Medicine.(omitted)

Objective : We tried to seek for conflicts of views among the contents in Sasang Constitutional Medicine and Traditional Medicine based on Huangdi's Internal Classic, and to study about the Range of Lee Je-Ma's Works, therefore finding out the limit of Sasang Constitutional Medicine in view of learning contents and practice of theory. Method : Through the texts of Longevity and Life Preservation in Eastern Medicine, such subjects will be investigated as Lee Je-Ma(李濟馬)'s comments on Huangdi's Internal Classic and views on the herbal medicine, the relations among five viscera(五臟), taeguk(太極), four-constitution(四象), etc. Result : Lee Je-Ma's Sasang Constitutional Medicine does not goes well in harmony with the traditional physiology which is based on the functional five zang system developed in Huangdi's Internal Classic, and is hard to understand because of its four division method rooted in confucius academy. Conclusion : Lee Je-Ma's view of medicine is one of the practical and valuable parts of Korean Medicine, however, its extreme four-division structure theory could be difficult to be accepted as its whole form. This is because he studied himself as a confucian, so that his work might rather be confucian than medical. When he fully devoted himself to Sasang Constitutional Medicine, he already took his age much.

공동주택은 준공 후 일정기간이 경과하면서 사용된 자재의 내구연한에 따라 노후화 현상이 나타난다. 구성자재의 내구연한에 의해 일부부위는 짧은 시간내에 수선을 하여야 하며 어떤 부위는 장시간이 경과한 후에 수선을 하기도 한다. 이와 같이 건물에 나타나는 다양한 노후화 현상에 대해 체계적일 유지관리를 하려면 준공후 경과년수에 따른 장기적인 계획수선을 필요로 한다. 장기수선계획작성에는 건물의 공종에 따른 수선시기를 예측하여 이를 기초로 작성해야 한다. 공동주택에서 장기수선계획이 계획에 지나지 않으며 실질적인 수선에 적용되지 못하는 주요인은 앞으로 수선이 예측되는 건물의 각 부위에 대한 수선시기를 예측하지 못하기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구는 전국에 산재한 공동주택을 장수명화하기 위해 장기수선계획을 활용하여 .해당단지의 부위별 재료의 특성을 반영한 수선주기 및 수선시기를 예측하고, 공동주택 관리자가 주기적 점검, 진단, 교체 등의 사항을 유지관리 캘린더에 의해 단지별로 자동관리할 수 있는 웹기반 유지관리 시스템을 제안하다.

In Anthropology, ceremonies which human should pass in lives are difined as ‘Rites of Passage’. Each Rite has its own Clothing style, which is little different from general Clothing in shape, composition, color, meaning, etc. This Study shows composition and characters on Birth Ceremony Clothing through Documents and Survey around Chonnam Area. Survey Area is subdivided into 3 parts : Koksung(A Basin of Sumjin River-Eastern Area of Chonnam), Na-ju( A Basin of Yeongsan River-Western Area of Chonnam), and Kangjin(Southern Area of Chonnam). This Study analyses characters on Baenaet Jogori, 100th-day Clothing and First-birthday Clothing in Chonnam Area. In case of Baenaet Jogori, its shape in Survey is similiar to that of documents. In case of 100th-day Clothing, New Jogori and Baji have been made usually. First-Birthday(called “Dol”) Clothing shows difference between male and female infant. Male clothing consists of Pungcha Baji, Jokki, Magoja, Doltti while Female clothing consists of Pungcha Baji, Chima, Jumoni, and Doltti. In making of infant Clothing, 5-colors(Blue. Red, Yellow, White, Black) which consists of basic color in the Theory of the cosmic dual forces and Shape of Letters such as 壽ㆍ福ㆍ亞ㆍ卍 are used usually. This kind of colors and Shape of letters symbolize longevity and fortune. As a result of study, I find what Ritual Clothing in Birth has many symbolic meaning which reflects life-style culture. This study lay meaning on that deals infant clothings as a kind of Ritual Clothing.

According to a sharp increase in demand for electricity supply secure, and $CO_2$ regulation in accordance with global environmental problems and to solve problems, etc. These factor less pollution, higher energy conversion hyoyulin way that the new electrical equipment, nano-composites The rapid degeneration of the unit study utilizing the power that is required is Free. Accordingly, cables, transformers and switchgear (GIS)-capacity of power equipment, such as, high-voltage high-density along with the miniaturization of equipment have made angry the reliability of these devices is becoming a very important issue. Insulation materials used in electrical equipment for high voltage withstand, power equipment, power equipment due to aging and overloading caused by a weakening of the insulation failure and replacement in accordance with the age due to increased costs because of the reliability of electrical equipment should be secured should. Therefore, improved performance and longevity of insulation material is recognized as an important challenge. In this study, power isolation and degeneration of the unit for use in various parts of the molding epoxy resin to improve the insulation performance of the epoxy resin by varying the added amount of nano-SiO2 nanocomposites made epoxy/SiO2 analysis and breakdown properties of the experiment want to improve the electrical properties through the geometry.

The purpose of this study is to introduce and research the traditional Korean costume collections of Dr. McCune who was born in Pyung-Yang in 1907 and resided until her marriage to George S. McCune in about 1930. Her collections consist of three categories : children's costumes, adults' costumes, access-ories. The characteristics of collections are summorized as follows : 1. Deep wrappings are found at the front part of the top clothing when worn. The front gusset (SUB) has been dramaticaly tilted due to the difference in lengths of the top and bottom parts of the front gusset. 2. Assymetry was one of the principles of decorating Korean costumes. The assymetry were repeated at the GIT and SUB of CHOGORE with patchwork patterns. 3. Primary colors were favored in Korean costume. Hue contrast in color combinations was prefered as well, such as : yellow CHOGORE and purple blue CUFFS, a red SUN pattern matched with green embroidery. 4. Surface patterns were not so popular in Korean costumes, while the most colorful and fabulous patterns were shown through the various embroidery artifacts. Patterns were used as a way of expressing of their desires or longings in Korean costumes. The main themes of the patterns were longevity and happiness. The patterns such as peony, lotus, chrysanthemum, bamboo and bat were implying symbolism at that time. 5. Natural materials were prefered for the garments, Silk and cotton were used as the main materials of the costume collections. Studies of Korean Costume collections owned by international collectors are meaningful to boost the arena of Korean Costumes as well as fill up the vacancy left by lost costume artifacts.

The clouds-shaped pattern is originated from Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. It stands for good-luck, longevity and productivity. It has been used on its own or with other patterns since the ancient times. It also has various forms. It particularly was used more frequently than any other patterns as a typical good-luck pattern, representing auspiciousness, divine authority, and so on in Chosun dynasty. The pattern, according to its component parts, is classified as individual type and compound type, which is mixed with other patterns such as treasure pattern, plant pattern, letter pattern, or animal pattern. For both individual type and compound type, swastika-shaped cloud pattern was mostly used. For compound type, the pattern compounded of treasure pattern was extraordinarily used a lot. In terms of the arrangement, the most common arrangement methods were brick-shaped arrangement and dense type arrangement, the arrangement method that spreads the patterns all over the surface. Among the fabrics with clouds-shaped pattern, satin damask fabrics had the majority. Clouds-shaped pattern was used a lot in men's Po(coat), such as Dahnryoung, Jiknyoung, Chollik, etc. rather than in women's clothes. It was a typical pattern used in Dahnryoung, an official uniform that represented people in the highest class in Chosun dynasty. The divine power symbol of this pattern indicated the authority and dignity that the upper class people could have.

Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha) is an important Rasayana herb and widely considered as Indian ginseng in Ayurveda. In traditional system of Indian medicine, it is used as tonic to rejuvenate the body and increase longevity. In Ayurvedic preparations, various parts of the plant have been used to treat variety of ailments that affect the human health. However, dried roots of the plant are widely used for the treatment of nervous and sexual disorders. The major active chemical constituents of this plant are withanolides, which is responsible for its wide range of biological activities. Since the beginning of the $20^{th}$ century, a significant amount of research has been done and efforts are ongoing to further explore other bioactive constituents, and many pharmacological studies have been carried out to describe their disease preventing mechanisms. In this chapter, we have reviewed the chemistry and pharmacological basis of W. somnifera in various human ailments.

기주식물에 따른 꽃노랑총채벌레의 생태적 특성을 조사한 결과, 가지, 오이, 고추, 토마토의 잎과 꽃잎에서 꽃노랑총채벌레의 발육기간은 고추 잎에서 6.4일로 가장 길었고, 생존율도 고추 잎에서 67%로 가장 낮았다. 오이의 잎에서 암컷의 수명이 16일로 가장 길었고, 꽃잎에서는 8.1일로 가장 짧았다. 꽃노랑총채벌레 암컷 성충은 가지, 오이, 고추, 토마토 중 토마토 꽃잎을 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났고, 가지 성묘의 잎 위치별 부화 유충수는 중위 잎에 가장 많았다. 가지의 잎과 꽃잎에 대한 꽃노랑총채벌레 암컷 성충의 서식 선호성은 꽃잎을 더 선호하였고, 4개 작물(가지, 오이, 고추, 토마토)중 꽃잎에 대한 서식 선호성은 고추에서 가장 높았다.

Commutator which plays the major role in switching electric currents from AC to DC is composed of copper and molding compound. The longevity of the DC motors are mostly hampered by the improper machining of the parts. Smooth surface will be mandatory to create the proper air gap of the commutator. In this thesis the selection of the proper materials and tools, the design and analysis of machine structure and the final test procedures have been investigated to achieve the smooth cut surface of the commutators. The performance and the product of the newly manufactured machine has been compared with those of the existing one. And the test result shows the new sawing machine has better overall efficiency and durability.
