The study on user satisfaction at Military Hospital Information System (군병원정보시스템 사용자의 만족도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate user satisfaction at Defense Medical Information System as it has been utilized as a part of National Defense Information Strategies since Aug. 2000. The subjects of this study were nurse officers and army surgeons of a hospital with 1,000 beds. The results of this study are as follows; First, according to the characteristics of the subjects, there was statistically significant difference in system satisfaction, job satisfaction and information satisfaction at Military Hospital Information System. Second, according to the intention of participation, there was a statistically significant difference in user satisfaction at Military Hospital Information System. Third, according to a level of dexterity at Military Hospital Information System, there was statistically significant difference only in job satisfaction. Fourth, factors to influence system satisfaction were one's duty, using period of Military Hospital Information System, and a level of dexterity at Military Hospital Information System. Factors to influence job satisfaction were a level of dexterity at Military Hospital Information System, one's duty and intention of participation. Factors to influence information satisfaction were one's duty, a level of dexterity at Military Hospital Information System, and intention of participation. As the first study on user satisfaction at Military Hospital Information System, this study suggests the followings. First, a plan to inspire users with intention of participating in information system should be prepared. Second, it is necessary to provide policy activities for job standardization of Military Hospital Information System and legal system improvement.

The Effect of Elderly Sports Activities Participation Motivation on Leisure Satisfaction (노인의 스포츠 활동 참여동기가 여가만족에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of elderly sports activities participation motivation on Leisure Satisfaction The participants were from elderly who the daily sports program. A total of 250 questionnaires were distributed from Sep. 1 to Oct. 31, 2018 and, after excluding 53 questionnaires that had missed or inappropriate answers thus low reliability, 197 questionnaires were included in effective sample. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 21 and frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis were performed. The results, based on them, are as follows: First, Among the motivations for participating in the elderly sports activities, internal motivation influenced psychological satisfaction, educational satisfaction, psychological satisfaction. Second. external motive influenced social satisfaction, resting satisfaction. Third. amotivation influenced psychological satisfaction, educational satisfaction, resting satisfaction, environmental satisfaction.

The Effects of the Fun Factor and Immersion of marine Sports on Leisure Satisfaction (해양스포츠 참가자의 재미요인과 몰입이 여가만족에 미치는 영향)

  • The following study holds its purpose on verifying primary fun factors of participation and satisfaction on marine sports. The results are: 1)The efficiency, effectiveness of exercise, self-satisfaction, and family support turned out to be higher in the group with longer and higher period, time, and frequency of participation than those of the control group. 2) The period of participation, speculation on engagement according to the frequency, and behavioral factors were shown to be higher in the group with longer and higher period, time, and frequency of participation than those of the control group. 3) Satisfaction on leisure on social, physical, emotional, and educational means were higher in the group with longer and higher period, time, and frequency of participation than those of the control group. 4) The fun factors of marine sports- self-satisfaction, effectiveness of excercise, efficiency, and family support- had a positive effect on increasing satisfaction in leisure. 5) The fun factors of marine sports- effectiveness of excercise, self-satisfaction, and family support- had a positive effect on increasing satisfaction in leisure. 6) The speculation of engagement in sports and the reinforcement of engagement had a positive effect on increasing satisfaction of leisure.

A Study on the Effects of Customers' Roles in the Service Recovery Process (서비스 실패와 회복과정에서 고객의 역할에 관한 연구)

  • This study attempted to examine the role of customers in service recovery process. There have been an argument regarding whether the role of customer in service failure situation 'buffer' or 'deteriorate'. Thus, the role of customer such as relationship quality and customer participation was discussed in this research. According to the result of study, (1) customers' perceived recovery have positive effect on positive emotion significantly. (2) customers' perceived distributional justice and interactional justice positively affected encounter satisfaction in the of recovery justice variable. However, whereas procedure justice has no effect on encounter satisfaction directly, there was indirect effect through customers' positive emotion. (3) As a result of the analysis for the effect of perception of recovery justice on recovery satisfaction, the effect of interactional justice was significant only. Distributional and procedural justice have indirect effect on recovery satisfaction through positive emotion or encounter satisfaction. (4) Customers' positive emotion positively affected encounter satisfaction and recovery satisfaction. (5) Relationship quality negatively moderated the relationship between procedural justice and positive emotion while customer participation positively moderated two paths that distributional justice to encounter satisfaction and interactional justice to recovery satisfaction.

The Effects of Parent's Participation and Satisfaction Degree on Physical Therapy for the Improvement of Motor Function in Cerebral Palsy Patients (부모의 물리치료 참여 및 만족도가 뇌성마비 아동의 운동기능 호전에 미치는 영향)

  • Family and parents which serve as a primary group for the children's development also play important role in their cerebral palsy children's treatment. This study wants to know how the parents' participation in their children's physical therapy and satisfaction degree have an impact on their children's improvement of the motor function. For that purpose, a home made self filling survey was conducted of 156 cerebral palsy children's parents whose children were treated in 4 university general hospitals and 3 welfare centers from the 1st of April 2004 to the 31th of march 2005. The gross motor function was employed to evaluate the cerebral palsy children's motor function improvement. In this study, those questioned were divided into two groups according to the time of treatment. 'Group A' is consist of the patients whose parents attended to the treatment more than one hour at home. The patients who belonged to 'Group B' were treated less than one hour at home. The general features of the cerebral palsy children and their parents and the characteristics of their physical disability, the parents' participation and their satisfaction degree were examined by survey. Evaluating the difference between two groups' motor function according to their parents participation degree in the physical therapy leads to the following results. First, 'Group A' was better than 'Group B' in their satisfaction degree with the physical therapy and participation degree. Statistically 'Group A' was superior to 'Group B' in the requirements of the information and education for the children with cerebral palsy. Second, after two months of treatment, 'Group A' showed more statistically significant improvement than 'Group B' in every items as like lying in item 1, sitting in item2, crawling and kneeling in item 3, standing in item 4, walking,running, jumping in item 5. Third, parents' participation in physical therapy and satisfaction degree have some relevance to their children' motor function improvement. The satisfaction degree is related to motor function like crawling and kneeling in item 3, walking,running, jumping in item 5. It is showed that the parents' participation degree and information about handicapped children.

A Survey of Students' Satisfaction on Participation Learning Using Role-play in Clerkship (의사-환자 역할극을 통한 참여형 임상실습 만족도 조사)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to evaluate students' satisfaction on participation learning using role-play in clerkship of Oriental Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology department. Methods : In 2012, 93 sixth grade students undergoing Oriental Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology clerkship were included in this study. The students listened to a lecture on nasal disease. And three days later, Students were randomly divided into two groups, doctor or patient, and performed role-play in their role. After role- play, they completed the questionnaire, the questionnaire was composed of 16 items. Results : Mean of total satisfaction score was 4.14. Mean of interest and appropriacy score was 4.48, mean of usefulness satisfaction was 3.93. There was no significant difference in mean scores by the role groups. Students evaluated the role-play in clerkship positively. Conclusions : Students evaluated the role-play that it was interesting and useful educational tool in clerkship. It is necessary to undergo further trials and complement programs to upgrade the quality of Oriental medical clerkship.

A Study on Social Capital and Satisfaction of Elderly life (사회적 자본과 노인 삶의 만족도 연구)

  • This paper investigates the differences in norms, values, and trusts that affect the quality of life of the elderly, as well as the elderly population. The elderly surveyed 401 households (65 years old or older) residing in N city. As a result of the analysis, there was a difference in life satisfaction according to sex, marital status, educational background, type of household composition and income level in the comparison of life satisfaction according to demographic variables. As a result of examining the influence of social capital on the elderly's life satisfaction, it was found that they contributed to trust, norm, and participation order. This study suggests that future policies of the elderly welfare policy should be considered as a policy that focuses on participation in various social activities that can activate social capital.

A Causal Model of Life Satisfaction among the Elderly Persons: Focused on Mediating Effects of Social Participation Activities (노인들의 삶의 만족도에 대한 인과모형 연구: 유형별 사회참여활동의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study was to examine the causal relationships among extraneous variables, social participation, and life satisfaction among the elderly persons. This study analyzed 4014 elderly persons out of 2010 KLoSA. The path analysis and mediating effects were examined by AMOS. Except educational level, family income, health status, functional capacities, K-MMSE, and CES-D10 were direct effects on the life satisfaction among the elderly persons. The mediating effects of causal meeting activities, leisure activities, and membership based activities were significant on life satisfaction. This study proposed implications of improving life satisfaction for the elderly through utilizing of social participation activities.

The Effect of Active Aging on the Life Satisfaction in Elderly People (고령자의 활동적 노화가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향요인)

  • This study aimed to identify the effect of the active aging on life satisfaction and present an improvement strategies to increase life satisfaction in elderly people. Active aging is divide into three aspects; health, participation and security. The subjects were people older than 55 years who were enrolled in Korean Retirement and Income Study. The influencing effect was analyzed by a hierarchial regression. Key factors associated with active aging influencing life satisfaction were subjective health, mental health, participation in the labor market, income, and housing while subjective health was a determinant factor that best describes the effect of the active aging on life satisfaction. On the basis of above result, this study suggests that there needs to be an effort in improvement of physical and mental health, participation in the labor market, and housing at national and regional levels.

Analysis of the Effects of Self-Perceived Health on Life Satisfaction and Mediating Effect of Social Activities of the Elderly by Age Group (연령 집단별 노인의 주관적 건강인식이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향과 사회활동참여의 매개효과)

  • This study aims to analyze influences of self-perceived health, participation in social activities on life satisfaction and mediating effect of participation in social activities of the elderly by age group. For this, Structural Equation Model(SEM) was implemented by using data of the 6th wave of KLoSA with 2,106 young-olds and 2,219 old-olds. The results are as follows: The young-old elderly had higher level of self-perceived health, higher participation in social activities, and higher life satisfaction than the old-old elderly, and the mediating effect of participation in social activities was founded only in the young-old elderly. As a result of multi-group analysis, the influence of self-perceived health on life satisfaction was confirmed by no difference between both groups and the influence of self-perceived health on the participation in social activities was relatively higher in the old-old elderly. In the path of participation in social activities on the life satisfaction, the young-old elderly were found to have a significant effect. Through above results, the intervention plan considering the differences between groups was discussed in order to improve the elderly's life satisfaction.
