Free-talking in Korea has recently been emphasized as a way of improving students' speaking ability outside of the classroom. The purpose of this study is to examine perceptions of free-talking, to understand what type of roles were played by or allotted between Korean students and international professors (IPs) and to look for effective speaking strategies for utilizing free-talking. Participants of this study were 68 university students and 23 IPs. The data collected through a survey type of questionnaire were analyzed by this researcher and the main findings indicate that students and IPs have somewhat different viewpoints about their concepts of free-talking. Students expressed varying viewpoints depending on their experience and class (year). In terms of the benefits, usefulness, and satisfaction of free-talking, students and IPs seem to be in more agreement with each other although the two groups have conflicting perceptions in the particular operation of free-talking, especially in terms of preparation and feedback. Students stated that they feel anxious, nervous, and that they struggle with peer pressure while free-talking. However, they feel that through free-talking they build up confidence and increase their speaking ability. Regarding roles, most professors play a helpful role as a guide or facilitator while students want professors to provide more suitable materials and to tutor them by means of appropriate feedback and strategies as well-prepared teachers like a prompter, participant or tutor in the timely manner. Finally, this paper proffers a few practical suggestions for activating free-talking and a discussion of the pedagogical implications.
The aim of this study was to develop a evaluation indicator to collaborative energy saving projects with NGO. We set the indicator based on expert advice, and refer to the preceding case study. The indicator has been set for the purpose of analyzing in planning, execution, performance phase to projects. In planning phase these consist of indicator such as project selection and rating, projects goals and concrete plans, etc; and systematic way of projects promotion, projects management and follow-up, and participation on selected contents, etc in execution phase; and achieve their goals, participant satisfaction, etc in performance phase.
Purpose: This study aimed to explore the discourses and the patterns of problem solving behaviors among the nurse managers. The focus of the study was the difficult situations in caring with patients and their families. Methods: Field study was performed at a for-profit hospital from March, 2004 to March, 2007. The participants of the study were 5 head nurses and 2 nurses in charge. The data were collected with iterative interviews and participant-observations. For the analysis of the data, taxonomy and critical discourse analyzing were applied. Results: The nurse mangers who showed wholistic patterns of behavior took the role of a broker among the client system, professional nursing system, medical system, and other allied health system. The nurse managers whose approach was profession-centered took the role of protector of nursing system. The nurse manager who practiced nurse-oriented pattern of behavior tried not to have harm against other members of health system. The experiences of nurse managers were effected from the discourses of patriarchal and market mechanism. Conclusion: The situation that provoke conflict between clients and nurses become more common with the changes to the health care system and to society. Nurse managers take the role of these conflict problems. The successful solving of conflict in a nursing care setting promotes the quality of care and satisfaction of clients. Programs for enhancing nurse's problem solving competency should anchored be in their practices.
The purpose of this study is to examine the residents' life style affected by community-oriented behavior, and to assess the implication of changes in communities and in the participants' sense of community resulted from the Community Currency Movement in Korea. 4 Community Currency organizations were selected for this study and some methodologies such as field research, survey of actual conditions and depth interview research were used, By using of this methodology. We can analyze the characteristics of Community Currency Movement in Korea and the degree of participants' sense of community. As a result of this study, it was found that the residents recognized 'new' community and felt 'a sense of belonging' by exchanging the community currency. They have also expanded 'a sense of responsibility' for the community through the exchange of this currency. Along with this change of attitude, participants have made a new community norms and they have been more or less controled by the norm. Moreover, the emotional satisfaction and the needs for improving self-esteem have been realized within the community, and the intimacy as well as solidarity have been built up and enhanced. In conclusion, the Community Currency Movement gives a significant implication to the communities that seek to solve the community problems of the contemporary society through the communal effort by the residents themselves. Furthermore, in terms of community welfare, this process will be of an immense help in reinforcing self-help ability of the residents effectively.
Advances in information and communication technology have introduced self-service technologies (SSTs) to service companies, changing the way they serve. In addition, as SSTs are expanding for low cost and high efficiency, opportunities for technology to interact with consumers have increased. Restaurant managers have the advantage of the SSTs win-win strategy, which allows consumers to freely receive the products or services they want, but some consumers have low satisfaction of the SSTs, especially elder people and the blind. This study examines the effect of unmanned order payment technology on service quality evaluation. For this, we interviewed a total of 12 consumers in their 10s to 50s with the experiences of using unmanned order payment technology, applying the Grounded Theory Method(GTM). Through a review of the research participant interview materials, totally 84 concepts were derived and the concepts were analyzed to derive 15 subcategories and 10 upper categories. Finally, a paradigm model of the effect of unmanned order payment technology on service quality assessment was derived. It also found the importance of consumers' sense of obligation to use unmanned order payment technology, recognition of advantages (e.g., time savings), recognition of shadow labor, and recognition of whether the technology usage process is in the service quality assessment stage.

The purpose of this study is to develop technical education programs that integrate robotics and artificial intelligence for employees in the robotics industry. To achieve this, the current status of robotics education programs for employees at domestic robotics institutions was investigated, and a demand survey on integrated robotics and AI education was conducted for domestic robotics companies. Based on the results of the demand survey, a robotics and AI integration education program was developed, and the contents of the designed curriculum and the survey results were presented. The developed education program was applied to the actual industry, and through evaluations of participant satisfaction and learning effectiveness, it was confirmed that the program can be effectively utilized in the industry. Suggestions for further research were also made.

This paper define the research problem as the jeopardized situation of most startups in early chasm. Korean government have put more policy focus on helping these startups to jump over the chasm. One of the effective policy measures helps these startups defining the core competencies validated from target customers, in-housing them effectively, and therefore enhancing the level of differentiation against the competitors by "Product Pivoting Training Boots Camp." It ultimately give the key nudge to startups in struggling with unsold products after initial launch to the market. This paper carried out the empirical test to the target sample of startups participating in this camp. In particular, this research analyze the level of satisfaction of startups, as move along with characteristics of the participant and training program, going through this camp whether it enhance their will of application into real business case. The survey were delivered and collected from 203 startups in attending "Product Pivoting Academy, the following program of Startup Jump-up package policy module. The research result shows that all startups participating in this academy were so much satisfied and motivated strongly to take the training process into applying real business case in order to increase sales. The quality of the training program and the characteristics of the participants had mediating variable effects on the will of application with respect to the level of satisfaction. It imply that the program should put more attention on improving coaches' nudge and learning motivation of participants to enhance the level program satisfaction.

This study was conducted to validate the effects of the disabled like program on the interest, attitude, satisfaction with daily life and sympathy among nursing university students. Overall, 70 nursing students were investigated in this study. The program contents included experiences simulating those of physically and visually handicapped persons. On the first day of the program, two study assistants measured the general characteristics, interest level, attitude, satisfaction with daily life, sympathy and meaning of nursing among study subjects. These factors were then measured again using the same form after completion of the program. The interest level among disabled persons was significantly increased after the program (t=-6.191, p<0.001), and also seven items on the attitude changes to the disabled persons were significant (p<0.001). After the program, participant's satisfaction with their daily lives increased significantly (t=-5.465, p<0.001), as did their sympathy for disabled persons (t=-6.125, p<0.001). In addition, the meaning of nursing increased significantly after the program (t=-6.125, p<0.001). Taken together, the results of this study showed that the disabled like program experience had positive educational effects.
The purpose of this study is to identify how education and activities of urban forest healing programs affect emotional rest (healing recovery environment awareness, restoration of attention, and leisure life satisfaction). To this end, 38 people were divided into experimental groups (forest healing program education and practice), and control groups (non-program participation). As a result of the study, in the case of the experimental group, emotional rest factors such as healing recovery environment perception, attention recovery, and satisfaction with leisure activities after the program were statistically significantly improved, and in the case of the control group, there was no change in emotional rest after the program. In addition, there were differences between groups in both pre and post regarding the difference in emotional rest between the participant groups, and the difference in emotional rest afterwards was much larger than the pre-difference. In conclusion, people who receive regular education on forest healing and have done actual forest healing activities experience higher emotional rest than those who do not. This suggests that continuous motivation and regular practice can raise awareness of the healing recovery environment, promote attention recovery, and have a positive effect on leisure life through appropriate programs rather than simply taking a walk.
Objectives: A mobile health intervention program was provided for employees with overweight and obesity for 12 weeks, and a process evaluation was completed at the end of the program. We investigated participant engagement based on app usage data, and whether engagement was associated with the degree of satisfaction with the program. Methods: The program involved the use of a dietary coaching app and a wearable device for monitoring physical activity and body composition. A total of 235 employees participated in the program. App usage data were collected from a mobile platform, and a questionnaire survey on process evaluation and needs assessment was conducted during the post-test. Results: The engagement level of the participants decreased over time. Participants in their 40s, high school graduates or lower education, and manufacturing workers showed higher engagement than other age groups, college graduates, and office workers, respectively. The overall satisfaction score was 3.6 out of 5. When participants were categorized into three groups according to their engagement level, the upper group was more satisfied than the lower group. A total of 71.5% of participants answered that they wanted to rejoin or recommend the program, and 71.9% answered that the program was helpful in improving their dietary habits. The most helpful components in the program were diet records and a 1:1 chat with the dietary coach from the dietary coaching app. The barriers to improving dietary habits included company dinners, special occasions, lack of time, and eating out. The workplace dietary management programs were recognized as necessary with a need score of 3.9 out of 5. Conclusions: Participants were generally satisfied with the mobile health intervention program, particularly highly engaged participants. Feedback from a dietary coach was an important factor in increasing satisfaction.
