  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the accuracy of input coefficients which are usually estimated by various non-survey methods. The resulting analysis showed that there were considerable differences employed. One of the interesting findings was that the simple LQ method was shown to be better then the other non-survey methods with respect to the degree of accuracy. And from a sensitivity analysis which was to show the effect of changes in input coefficients on the level of production by industry, an increase of 10% in the value of input coefficient (machinary and equipment setor) resulted up to 500billion Won in GRP for the case region. Therfore one of the implications which we can derive from the resulting analysis is that it necessary to pay attention to the key coefficients first to save out time and money, while retaining a certain level of accuracy. One thing to be noted, however, is that the key coefficients but the total effects which are calculated through the Leontief inverse matrices. Therfore to enhance the accuracty of input coefficients estimated by nonsurvey methods it is required to handle the relevant setoral data more carefully or to employ semi-survey method in part.

  • Sentiment Analysis has become very important field of research because posting of reviews is becoming a trend. Supervised, unsupervised and semi supervised machine learning methods done lot of work to mine this data. Feature engineering is complex and technical part of machine learning. Deep learning is a new trend, where this laborious work can be done automatically. Many researchers have done many works on Deep learning Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Long Shor Term Memory (LSTM) Neural Network. These requires high processing speed and memory. Here author suggested two models simple & bidirectional deep leaning, which can work on text data with normal processing speed. At end both models are compared and found bidirectional model is best, because simple model achieve 50% accuracy and bidirectional deep learning model achieve 99% accuracy on trained data while 78% accuracy on test data. But this is based on 10-epochs and 40-batch size. This accuracy can also be increased by making different attempts on epochs and batch size.

  • The existing a music genre classification research used signal feature of the part which gets 20 seconds interval of the random or the $40%{\sim}45%$ after in the music. This paper propose it to increase the accuracy of existing research to classify music genre using climax part in the music. Generally the music is divided to three parts; introduction, progress and climax. And the climax is the part which the music emphasizes and expresses the feature of the music best. So, we can get efficient result if the climax is used, when the music classify. We can get the climax in the music finding the tempo and node which uses FFT and the maximum waveform from each node. In this paper, we did a genre classification experiment which uses existing research method and proposing method. The existing method expressed 47% accuracy. And proposing method expressed 56% accuracy which is improved than existing method.

  • Purpose: This study assessed the accuracy of age estimates produced by a regression equation derived from lower third molar development in a Thai population. Materials and Methods: The first part of this study relied on measurements taken from panoramic radiographs of 614 Thai patients aged from 9 to 20. The stage of lower left and right third molar development was observed in each radiograph and a modified Gat score was assigned. Linear regression on this data produced the following equation: Y=9.309+1.673 mG+0.303S (Y=age; mG=modified Gat score; S=sex). In the second part of this study, the predictive accuracy of this equation was evaluated using data from a second set of panoramic radiographs (539 Thai subjects, 9 to 24 years old). Each subject's age was estimated using the above equation and compared against age calculated from a provided date of birth. Estimated and known age data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient and descriptive statistics. Results: Ages estimated from lower left and lower right third molar development stage were significantly correlated with the known ages (r=0.818, 0.808, respectively, $P{\leq}0.01$). 50% of age estimates in the second part of the study fell within a range of error of ${\pm}1year$, while 75% fell within a range of error of ${\pm}2years$. The study found that the equation tends to estimate age accurately when individuals are 9 to 20 years of age. Conclusion: The equation can be used for age estimation for Thai populations when the individuals are 9 to 20 years of age.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to analyze measured data from 3D Laser tracking system and to enhance precision performance of a Cartesian robot. Position data are obtained over the stroke of a Cartesian robot with variable speeds. The measured data is need to model errors with several different sources. In general, the error is a function of part accuracy, assembly accuracy, temperature, and control etc. After the sources of errors are identified, they are used to enhance precision performance. The proposed method is more complete than others because we use very accurate 3D Laser tracking system.

  • An optical device, named "T-MES", to measure the accuracy of printed scale of measuring tapes was developed. It has 11 optical sensors, that are exactly positioned every 100 mm on the 1 m frame. The sensors detect the beginning of the printed part and generate the puleses. The time difference between each signal pulse and the first sensor signal pulse is proportional to the error of printed scale. The measured data are trasmitted through a IEEE-488 interface to a IBM-AT computer and analyzed. The analysis software continuously displays the measured result on the CRT.n the CRT.

  • Accurate speech region detection and automatic syllable segmentation is important part of speech recognition system. In automatic speech recognition system, they are needed for the purpose of accurate recognition and less computational complexity, In this paper, we Propose improved syllable segmentation method using ramp edge detection method and residual signal Peak energy. These methods were used to ensure accuracy and robustness for endpoint detection and syllable segmentation system. They have almost invariant response to various background noise levels. As experimental results, we obtained the rate of 90.7% accuracy in syllable segmentation in a condition of accurate endpoint detection environments.

  • Fluid impact tests on plates containing mesh reinforcement and polypropylene fibers were modeled and simulated using explicit finite element analysis software, LS-DYNA. The scabbing dimensions obtained by the experiments and the simulations were compared and crack formations were matched. The objective was to test the accuracy and fidelity of the model and to confirm that damage caused by fluid impact on the plates can be estimated with a reasonable accuracy over a wide range of impact velocity.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the maximum and optimal listening speed of Korean TTS for the blind. Five blind participants took part in this study. The instruments used in this study were 17 sentence sets (2 sets for an excercise, 10 sets for a repeated test, and 5 sets for a random test), with short meaningful sentences (the same sentences for the repeated test, different sentences for the random test) with 15 differentiated speeds (Range=0.8-3.6, SD=0.2). Each participant's maximum and quickest listening speeds were calculated by objective recall accuracy (determined by the number of correctly recalled syllables/the total number of syllables in a sentence X 100) and subjective recall accuracy (recall accuracy judged by each participant's subjective evaluation). The results showed that the participants' recall accuracy had a tendency to increase as the TTS speed decreased. Participants' subjective recall accuracy was higher than objective recall accuracy in the repeated tests and vice versa in the random tests. The results also revealed that the participants' sentence familiarity had an influence on their Korean TTS listening speed.

  • This study investigates solving production problems in an automotive stamping plant using Finite Element (FE) analysis. The fundamentals of stamping, metal plasticity and FE analysis are developed. In this paper, we provide the basis for a simulation of the stamping of a production part, the automotive rear floorpan. On-plant factorial Design of Experiments (DoE) were simulated using the floorpan model. The accuracy of the simulations was undetermined because of variability in the DoE results. Predictions of flange shape, wrinkling and thickness show qualitative agreement with manufactured parts and indicate that simulating an industrial part is feasible.
