오늘날의 개발자들은 서비스를 생성함에 있어서 몇번의 클릭만으로도 간단하게 서비스를 개발할 수 있는 환경을 갖추었다. 이는 서비스를 개발하는 환경이 사용자가 최소한의 지식만을 가지고 개발 할 수 있도록 자동화 되어가고 있기 때문이다. 개방형 서비스에 있어서도 기존의 Parlay 를 단순화한 Parlay X 가 탄생하였고, 더 나아가 Parlay X 의 API 들을 개발자들이 쉽게 사용할 수 있게 해주는 SCE(Service Creation Environment)툴이 개발되게 되었다. 개발자를 위한 환경의 변화에 발 맞추어, SCE 의 범위는 더욱 넓어 졌다. 기존의 기능을 쉽게 사용할 수 있게 해주는 좁은 의미의 SCE 에서 서비스 생성 도구들을 사용자가 잘 이해하고 사용할 수 있도록 하는 방법도 중요한 이슈가 된 것이다. 본 논문에서는 통신망 응용 서비스에 대한 전문적인 지식이 없는 서비스 생성 도구 사용자가 개방형 서비스를 생성함에 있어서 어떠한 순서와 방법을 적용하면 효과적으로 서비스 생성을 체험할 수 있는지를 제안한다.

This paper reviews the Parlay X and proposes SIP multimedia session control mechanism which is able to be implemented over IMS using Extended Call Control APIs of Parlay X. Parlay X is one of the industrial standards of Open API in the telecommunication to open network resources and capabilities to third party service providers. In this paper, SIP session control mechanism is described by depicting call flows of basic and essential session handling methods including session initiation, transfer, restoration, and termination. We also show how easy Parlay X Extended Call Control APIs can be used for the purpose of complicated calls handling in the IT applications. To verify feasibility of the blended services based on convergence of telecommunication and internet with regard to performance, we accomplish experimental performance of Extended Call Control APIs from IT application through open service gateway. We show Open API could be applied to next generation network based on IMS without serious degradation of the network performance.

In this paper we designed a micro payment service. This service is based on Parlay X web services. In the design process we described a high level functional block architecture. Also, we described the flow of payment and account management for a micro payment service.

개방형 서비스개발자들은 SCE(service Creation Environment) 도구를 사용하여 망에 대한 전문적인 지식이 없더라도 예전보다 쉽고 빠르게 서비스를 개발할 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 툴킷 라이브러리 형태의 SCE를 제공하는 방법을 제안한다. SCE 툴킷 라이브러리는 SCE를 SDK((Software Development Kit) 형태로 제공한다. 이는 기존의 IDE(Integrated Development Environment) 환경에 라이브러리 형식으로 SCE 기능을 추가할 수 있게 함으로써, 개발자가 기존에 사용하던 친숙한 환경에서 서비스를 개발할 수 있도록 해준다. 또한 Parlay X API, 웹 2.0 API, 유틸리티 API를 제공하는데 있어서 복잡한 API 및 파라미터를 추상화하여 제공하는 방법을 제안한다. 이러한 SCE 툴킷 라이브러리는 창조적인 새로운 서비스의 출현에 많은 기여를 할 것으로 전망된다.

This paper describes the open API with integration of semantic web service with PARLAY X based open API in 4G mobile network. It can be expected that the intelligence such as the context-awareness, adaptation and personalization in 4G mobile network will be deployed. But the existing PARLAY based network lacks in considering context-awareness, adaptation and personalization. Therefore, the object of this paper is to support the architecture and the Application Programming Interface (API) of the network service for the context-awareness, adaptation and Personalization in 4G mobile network The open API is to provide users with the adaptive network service to the changing context constraints as well as detecting the changing context and user's Preference. For instance, the open API can Provide users with QoS in network according to the detected context and user's preference, after detecting the context such as location and speed and user's preference.

In this paper, we propose a micro payment service based on Open API (Payment & Account Management API). To support a business model that enables operators to offer integrated billing, a payment and an account management API is crucial. This service is based on the architecture of Parlay X web services[1, 2]. We described the network architecture and the logic procedure for a micro payment service.
