최근 무선 멀티미디어 센서 네트워크(WMSN : Wireless Multimedia Sensor Network)에서 비디오 영상을 전송하는데 있어 그 특성을 고려하지 않은 전송 방법으로 인하여 영상 정보에 대한 신뢰도가 낮다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문은 WMSN에서 비디오 프레임의 구성요소인 I, P, B 픽처의 특성에 따라 타임아웃을 동적으로 설정하여 노드와 노드간의 패킷 수신율을 증가시켜 전체 서비스의 QoS를 제공하고, 이벤트를 감지하여 특정 구간의 영상 정보를 제공받을 수 있는 기법을 제안한다.

Wondonins A and B, aromatic alkaloids of an unprecedented skeletal class have been isolated form and association of the sponges Poecillastra wondoensis and Jaspis sp. In addition, four novel bromotyrosine-derived metabolites, psammaplins $A_1$ and $A_2$, aplysinellins A and B, have been isolated from the tropical sponge Aplysinella rhax. The structures of these compounds have been determined on the basis of combined chemical and spectral analyses. The new compounds exhibited significant cytotoxicity and antiangiogenic activity as well as inhibitory activities against farnesyl protein transferase and leucine aminopeptidase. In addition to these compounds, several bioactive metabolites have been isolated from sponges of Korean and tropical waters.

Although there have been studies investigating the clinical effects of warm needling (WN) for specific diseases, a comprehensive review of WN is needed. Four Korean internet databases were used in the review of WN treatment performed in Korea. The search terms used to retrieve articles were "warm needling (in Korean; 온침)," "warm acupuncture," and "warm needle." A total of 29 articles were reviewed. The following aspects of WN were investigated: language and terminology, study design, use of Standards for Reporting Interventions in Clinical Trials of Acupuncture, research ethics, moxibustion types, number of moxa used, moxa combustion time, needle retention time, treatment time and frequency, acupoints, meridians, acupuncture size and depth, disease classification, pattern identification, outcome measures, and adverse effect. More sophisticated and precise studies on WN are required.

Polycrystalline diamond films are deposited by using a microwave plama CVC system, where the bias-enhanced nucleation (BEN) method is employed. Effects of the varying microwave power, the surface treatment by hydrogen plasma, and the cyclic hydrogen etching during deposition on the crystallinity as well as on the surface roughness of deposited films are examined by Raman spectroscopy, SEM, and AFM. A novel method for achieving a smoother diamond surface is also suggested through the indirect wafer bonding and back-side polishing.

시간과 공간을 서로 융합하려는 노력들이 현대 화가들의 작업을 통해 여러 가지 다양한 접근 방법이 시도되고 있다. 그중 포토 꼴라주(Photo Collage)를 이용한 작업들은 컴퓨터를 이용한 영상 처리 기술과 상반된 흐름을 가지고 있어 공학적 관점에서 매우 흥미롭다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 포토 꼴라주을 한 장의 사진을 이용하여 나타내고자 한다. 이를 위해 한 장의 사진을 사각 격자로 분할하고 분할된 각 셀들을 이차원 변환(크기변환, 이동, 회전)과 톤의 조절을 통해 구현하였다.

This paper describes extraction procedures for the center coordinates of steam generator tubes of Youngkwang nuclear power plant No. 6 unit. The centering coordinates of tubes are needed for monitoring whether ECT probe is exactly inserted into tube or not. The development of a teleoperated mobile robot, Kaerot/m2, has been described. Kaerot/m2 consists of three subsystems - a 4 wheeled mechanism with the dual reconfigurable crawler arms, a thermal image monitoring system , and an extendable long reach mast. The mechanical design, control system of Kaerot/m2 in terms of remote inspection operation at a high radiation level of the Calandria face environment has been shown. Kaerot/m2 is capable of detecting the degraded locations of the Calandria face in a remote manner.

A long-wavelength ($1. 3\mum$) multimode fiber-optic transmission system has been developed and the field trial system has been installed over 17.3km distance in Daejeon Area by KETRI. The 45Mb/s and 90Mb/s system operate with BER $10^-9$over 17.3km distance, and they successfully operate on the route of 34. 6km length when the fiber cable is simply connected at one end. Average loss of the fiber cable shows 0. 81dB/km including splice loss and the average bandwidth over the 17. 3km distance is 170MHz.

This paper propose a new hybrid genetic algorithm for auto-tunig auzzy controller improving the performance. In general, fuzzy controller used pre-determine d moderate membership functions, fuzzy rules, and scaling factors, by trial and error. The presented algorithm estimates automatically the optimal values of membership functions, fuzzy rules, and scaling factors for fuzzy controller, using hybrid genetic algorithms. The object of the proposed algorithm is to promote search efficiency by overcoming a premature convergence of genetic algorithms. Hybrid genetic algorithm is based on genetic algorithm and modified gradient method. Simulation results verify the validity of the presented method.
