  • We proposed that the replicas be made as an alternative to achieve such reciprocal goals as the safe preservation of traditional costume relics and socio-educational realizations through exhibitions, etc., A replication was categorized for its purpose into a restoral replication a work based on the historical research of color and shapes as they were originally made and a current state replication . a production based on a minute record of the relics as they are excavated Then, we reported the reproduction process from the excavation to the exhibition on the excavated traditional costumes of Milchanggun's Jobok The purpose of a replication of relics is to record the relics experiencing the change resulted from the inevitable degeneration over time as organic cultural assets together with the substitution exhibition of relics and academic researches and so on. Accordingly, the above two methods are to be preceded by a deep and through research and study on the relics of replication. This study on the relics having an important cultural property value presents the preservation of tile cultural assets of traditional costume through the two replication processes and results and a flew pattern of exhibition.

A Study on Work's Exposure to Dust, Crystalline Free Silica and Lead in Ceramic Industry (일부 요업사업장의 분진, 결정형 유리규산 및 납의 폭로에 관한 연구)

  • In some ceramic industries, worker exposure to dust, crystalline free silica and lead were determined and evaluated. The conclusions are as follows. 1. Crystalline silica in bulk samples was 10.5 % in sanitary ware industry, 9.4 % in tile industry, and 2.1 % in ceramic insulator industry respectively. The free silica content of air filter sample was 8.03 % in table ware industry, 5.59 % in sanitary ware industry, and 1.32 % in ceramic insulator industry. Because silica content in ceramic dust is relatively high, it is should be considered silica as important factor in evaluating for ceramic industry. 2. The silica contents in dust from tile, sanitary ware and table ware industries are above 5%, it should be classified as "Type" 2 dust. 3. The airborne concentration of respirable crystalline silica was $27.9{\mu}g/m^3$ in a sanitary ware factory and $5.8{\mu}g/m^3$ in a ceramic insualtor factory. Three of ten samples sampled the above factories were exceeded the occupational exposure levels, $100{\mu}g/m^3$. 4. Geometric mean(GM) of total dust in 11 factories was $1.00mg/m^3$ and GM of respirable dust concentration in 5 factories was $0.33mg/m^3$. Sanitary ware industry had the highest concentration of total dust, $1.62mg/m^3$ and of respirable dust, $0.88mg/m^3$. 5. Average lead concentration in air was $0.05mg/m^3$ in glazing process of 2 factories manufacturing table ware. Five of ten sample(50%) were exceeded $0.05mg/m^3$. Therefore lead exposure in pottery industry should be considered as important problem.

  • Current security efforts provided in such as firewall or IDS (intrusion detection system) of the network level suffer from many vulnerabilities in internal computing servers. Thus the necessity of secure OS is especially crucial in today's computing environment. This paper identifies secure OS requirements, analyzes tile research trends for secure Linux in terms of security kernel, and provides the descriptions of the multi-level security(MLS) Linux kernel which we have implemented. This security kernel-based Linux meets the minimum requirements for TCSEC Bl class as well providing anti-hacking, real-time audit trailing, restricting of root privileges, and enterprise suity management functions.

DNA 템플릿을 활용한 전이금속 칼코겐화합물 트랜지스터 기반 바이오센서 연구

  • Field effect transistors (FETs)를 기반으로 한 바이오센서는 빠른 응답속도, 저비용, label-free 등을 이유로 각광받고 있다. 그러나 3D 구조를 기반으로 한 FETs 바이오센서의 낮은 sensitivity의 한계점을 지니며, 이를 극복하기 위해 1D 구조의 나노튜브 등을 활용하였으나 여전히 높은 sensitivity의 확보는 힘들다. 최근에는 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위해 이차원 반도체 물질 중 하나인 Transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD)를 이용하여, 700 이상의 sensitivity를 지니는 pH센서 및 100 이상의 sensitivity를 지니는 바이오센서가 보고되었다. 하지만 이보다 더 높은 정확성 및 반응성을 높이기 위한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 우리는 DNA 템플릿을 이용하여, TMD FET 기반 pH 및 바이오센서의 반응성을 극대화시키는 연구를 선보인다. DNA는 7~8정도의 유전상수 (K)를 가지는 물질로 기존 $SiO_2$(K=3.9)보다 높은 유전상수를 가지며 두께를 0.7 nm로 매우 얇게 형성할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 이는 FET 기반 바이오센서의 표면 캐패시턴스를 높여 sensitivity를 극대화할 수 있으며, 기존에 사용된 high-k 기반 바이오센서와 비교하여도 약 10배 이상의 sensitivity 향상을 노릴 수 있다. 또한, TMD 물질로 우리는 $WSe_2$를 선택하였으며, pH 용액의 receptor로써 우리는 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES)를 활용하였고, 템플릿으로 사용된 DNA는 DX tile 및 Ring type의 두 가지를 사용하였다. 추가로, DNA의 phosphate backbone을 중성화시키고 DNA의 base pairing의 charge 안정화를 위해 구리 이온($Cu^{2+}$) 및 란타넘족($Tb^{3+}$)을 추가하였다. 완성된 바이오센서의 pH 센싱을 위해 우리는 pH 6,7,8의 표준 용액을 사용하였으며, 재현성 및 반복성의 확인하였다.

  • LRE(liquid rocket engine) performance design code with several modules for each engine component has been developed for a preliminary design purpose. Thrust chamber, non-cryogenic centrifugal pump, single stage axial impulse turbine, gas generator and exhaust pipe for extra thrust have been considered. For simplicity, pump exit pressures are fixed, which eliminates pressure balancing problem between thrust chamber and turbopump unit. In this paper, calculated performance parameters with system flow charts and the design methodologies for each component are briefly presented and the results are compared with tile real engine specification.

A study on the Characteristics of Urban Dryness in Daegu (대구의 도시건조화 특성에 관한 연구)

  • It is well known that urban relative humidity has continuous decreasing trend owing to the influence of urbanization. The change of relative humidity is directly influenced by two factors, namely, temperature effect and water vapor effect in various urban effects. In this study, the temperature and tile water vapor effects on the relative humidity change were analyzed by using monthly mean relative humidities for a long period($1961{\sim}2005$) in Daegu and Chupungnung. The major results obtained in this study can be summarized as follows. Firstly, the urban dryness was caused mainly by water vapor effect in summer. But, for the other seasons, the urban dryness is mainly due to the temperature effect. Secondly, the relative humidity in Daegu is on the decrease until now. This phenomenon is similar to another Korean huge cities such as Seoul, Daejeon and Incheon. But, it is different compared with Japanese huge cities such as Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, indicating a standstill in relative humidity change after 1980s.

Numerical Analysis of Impact Forces and Entry Behaviors of the High Speed Water Entry Bodies (고속으로 입수하는 물체에 대한 충격량 및 입수 거동 해석)

  • The numerical methodology for computing tile impact forces and water entry behaviors of high speed water entry bodies was been developed. Since the present method assumed the impact occurs within a very short time interval. the viscous effects do not have enough time to play a significant role in the impact forces, that is, the flow around a water-entry object was assumed as an incompressible potential flow and is solved by the source panel method. The elements fully submerged into the water are routinely treated, but the elements intersected by the effective planar free surface are redefined and reorganized to be amenable to the source panel method. To validate the present code, it was applied to disk, cone and ogive model and compared with experimental data. Good agreement was obtained. The water entry behavior such as the bouncing phenomena from the free surface was also simulated using the impact forces and two degree of freedom dynamic equation. Physically acceptable results were obtained.

  • Most of the research of small engines to date focused on developing spark ignition engines occupied much parts. Recently the number of a small direct injection diesel engine applied in small cars has been increased and considered as a next generation power source for passenger cars because of its high efficiency. Therefore the combustion chamber becomes smaller and the fuel injection pressure goes higher, which makes fuel sprays impinged easily on the combustion chamber walls. When strong swirls are not induced, the fuel may not mix with air because of fuel deposition on the wall. As a positive way, the combustion chamber systems which is using spray wall impaction has been introduced and assessed by an experimental or a simulate manner. In these systems the raised lands are positioned in tile chamber for spray impaction in order to break up the fuel drops into much smaller and direct them into desirable direction. This study addresses to the effects of rho position and size of the raised land or glow plug to help the chamber design using spray wall impaction. The characteristics of the spray impinged on various lands are investigated and compared with each other. Then the chamber shapes are discussed with the characteristics and their proper position and size is proposed in any chamber volume.

  • To efficiently manage the supply chain of an industry, the structure and characteristics of a supply chain have to be predefined and it is strongly required to get a framework to analyze a supply chain. We have developed a framework to analyze a supply chain from the viewpoint of chain relationship. It is possible to evaluate the degree of supply chain of each entity by using the framework. We have applied the framework to the port & logistics industry. From this research, we have identified tile current status of supply chain of port & logistics industry in the Korea and extracted some considerations for the healthy supply chain of Korean port & logistics industry.

  • Feasibility study on large scale projects like an investment on infrastructure development is very important because it provides fundamental data which determine the total investment size and duration. However, previous feasibility studies have a few problems of ambiguous estimation standards, unsystematical estimation methods, and so on. Accordingly, this study intends to regulate tile problems on economic feasibility as well as financial feasibility study which have been considered more critical in recent time, subsequently presents a reform measure. Also, this study identifies predictable risks during the feasibility study, presents a scheme which lets investor and owner control the risk themselves through a process which uses theoretical and political management plans.
