In applications using a linear regression model with nested error structure, one might be interested in making inferences concerning variance components. This article proposes approximate confidence intervals on the variance component of the primary level in a simple linear regression model with an unbalanced nested error structure. The intervals are compared using computer simulation and recommendations are provided for selecting an appropriate interval.

Purpose. To develop a hard gelatine capsule containing meloxicam (Yuhan Meloxam capsule$\^$TM/), in vitro dissolution characteristics and bioavailability in beagle dog were compared with commercial product (Mobic capsule$\^$TM/). Methods. Meloxicam capsule$\^$TM/ was prepared by powder filling method using meloxicam, lactose, magnesium stearate, and others. The release of Meloxicam capsule$\^$TM/ and Mobic capsule$\^$Tm/ were monitored by USP dissolution method under various dissolution donditions - dissolution medium (pH 1.2, 4.0, 6.8 and water). This study examines how class differences are expressed through costumes based on the costumes of characters in Bong Joon-Ho's film . Based on Video on Demand (VOD), the main situations in which characters' costumes change in the play were captured and used as analysis data. Colors, textures, and color symbol were analyzed to find the formative properties shown in the characters' costumes. The results are as follows. The home wear of Kim's family were unsuitable for the top and bottom, faded clothes, and the vague boundary between outdoor and indoor clothes appeared. In comparison, Park's family's home wear was featured a modern and elegant design, a clear distinction that suited purpose and situation. Analysis of street wear showed that the Kim's family had a big difference before and after getting a job, and Park's family wore different costumes for the purpose of going out. Social class expressed in the film costumes were shown to have the characteristics of intrinsic class invariance, temporary class changes, differences in class expression by age, and differences in costume choice by class.

The paper discussed for energy saving technology of electric arc furnace (EAF) in steel making industry. The energy of EAF in steel making process is nearly 10% of total manufacturing cost. This paper is shown new trand of energy saving technology and future study analysis of technological evolution of the EAF by 2010 issued IISI.

This paper addresses the problem of designing robust adaptive output tracking control for a class of MIMO nonlinear systems which have different number of inputs and outputs The stability of the whole closed-loop system is guaranteed in the sense of Lyapunov and uniformly Itimately boundedness of the tracking error vector as well as estimated parameters are shown. In addition, we show that the restrictive assumptions on input gain matrix which is presumed in the past works can be eliminated by using proposed control law.

Four times of field survey were carried out to collect fish samples at six stations in Shinpo district, North Korea in October 1997, July 1998, May and October 2002. Sampling stations were located in upstream, middle and down of the southern river of Bukchong and three brackish lakes of lake Hommanpo, Daein and Hyunkum, respectively. A total of 29 species belonging to 11 families occurred. Family Cyprinidae showed the prosperity in species number of 28% among total species occurred. No natural monument fishes or rare species were captured. Ten commercial fishes, five anadromous ones and five brackish ones were identified. Feeding habits divided fish fauna with 11 carnivores, two herbivores and seven omnivorous ones. In the river, 20 species belonging to seven families inhabited, 18 species of 6 families in lake Homanpo, 21 of seven III Hyunkum and 23 of eight in Daein, respectively. Ecological indices of richness, diversity and evenness were highest in lake Daein and dominance index was highest in lake Hyunkum.
