  • In this paper, we develop a facility management system which provides fault effect and replacement alarm function of each component for supporting effective maintenance of facility. To do this, we use weighting method to each component, calculate importance of each component, and make them to hierarchy structure using bill of materials of facility. Also, we draw fault cause and fault effect of components based on failure modes effects and criticality analysis, and define criteria of severity, occurrence and detection to get risk priority number. To apply these concepts, we develop and test the facility management system to verify its practicality. In the future, we expect the developed system to apply many domains such as maintenance of ship and offshore plant.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare machine learning models for anomaly detection of mechanical facility equipment and suggest an anomaly detection system for mechanical facility equipment in subway stations. It helps to predict failures and plan the maintenance of facility. Ultimately it aims to improve the quality of facility equipment. Methods: The data collected from Daejeon Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation was used in this experiment. The experiment was performed using Python, Scikit-learn, tensorflow 2.0 for preprocessing and machine learning. Also it was conducted in two failure states of the equipment. We compared and analyzed five unsupervised machine learning models focused on model Long Short-Term Memory Variational Autoencoder(LSTM-VAE). Results: In both experiments, change in vibration and current data was observed when there is a defect. When the rotating body failure was happened, the magnitude of vibration has increased but current has decreased. In situation of axis alignment failure, both of vibration and current have increased. In addition, model LSTM-VAE showed superior accuracy than the other four base-line models. Conclusion: According to the results, model LSTM-VAE showed outstanding performance with more than 97% of accuracy in the experiments. Thus, the quality of mechanical facility equipment will be improved if the proposed anomaly detection system is established with this model used.

  • As abnormal climates occur due to the increase in greenhouse gases at home and abroad, various problems such as human casualties, crop damage, energy depletion, and economic loss due to heat diseases, which are one of the extreme climate phenomena, are following one after another. In response, the government has established the 'Climate Crisis Response Special Committee' since 2018, when it recorded the greatest damage in history due to heat waves, and has been carrying out budget formation and reform of laws and systems every year to respond to heat waves. However, in relation to the heat wave damage reduction facility that is being expanded with a large budget, there is no prior research related to the degree of heat loss due to the use of the facility, the difference in effects between specific groups, and the economic effect that comes back compared to the invested budget. Therefore, from a midto long-term perspective, it is expected that it will be difficult to establish a clear direction for policy making. Therefore, in this study, representative facilities were selected according to the principle of heat reduction among the currently expanded heat damage reduction facilities, and a questionnaire survey was conducted for users of each reduction facility (waterfall, awning, pond, and elastic pavement). Accordingly, the change in the sense of heat according to the use of the heat damage reduction facility was checked, and the change in the sense of heat according to the group characteristics (gender, age, metabolic rate) was analyzed to examine the characteristics of the relationship between the facility and the users.

  • The purpose of this study was to provide direction for national parks management policies by analyzing national park facility monitoring data collected every 2 years from 2002 to 2006. The results of this study showed the following. Firstly, 16 mountainous national parks showed increasing values in importance and performance in IPA. The trend analysis results showed that the location and capacity of parking lots as well as the number of rest rooms need to be improved. Secondly, two marine national parks indicated increasing values in campground and coastal facilities in IP value. Also, the location, number, and cleanliness of rest rooms, safety and surface condition of trail, guard rail and warning signs, information signs, drinking water fountains and shower facilities were priorities for improvement. The implications of this study will be able to help by providing guidelines for installation and maintenance of park facilities which in turn will improve visitor satisfaction and establish national park facility operation policies.

  • A simple model for RAM (Reliability, Availability and Maintainability) analysis and its computer code are developed for application to DUPIC fuel fabrication system. The approach is obtained by linking the allocation model (top-down method) to bottom-up method for RAM analysis. As a result, the availability requirement of subsystem, as well as the buffer storage requirement between processes, are evaluated for the DUPIC facility..

  • To assess convergence and accommodation at a short distance, 92 selected subjects without any ocular diseases by apperatuses of visual chart(Shinnippon CT30) and phoropter(Shinnippon VT 10) at a short distance(40 cm) were tested upon MEM retinoscopy(Welch Allyn, USA). BELL retinoscopy(Welch Allyn, USA), binocular accommodative facility (${\pm}2.00$ D flipper. Bernell Co., USA), vergence facility(prism flipper, Bernell Co., USA). There were such test results as MEM retinoscopy(R/L)($+1.05{\pm}0.87/1.02{\pm}0.80$ D). BELL retinoscopy ($17.89{\pm}12.12/17.94{\pm}11.72cm$), binocular accommodative facility (R/G)($7.69{\pm}6.48cpm$). binocular accommodative facility(polaroid)($11.76{\pm}5.22cpm$), monocular accommodative facility(R/L) ($13.9{\pm}6.27/13.8{\pm}5.96cpm$), vergence facility($13.5{\pm}6.40cpm$).

  • The phosphorus contribution rate on water quality of North and South-Han River, and Gyungan-cheon by effluents from environmental fundamental facilities located in upstream basin of Paldang Lake were analyzed. QUALKO2 model was selected for the analysis of contrubution rate, and was constructed considering the location of the main point sources and all facilities in study area. The pollutant loading rates and arrival rates for each unit-watershed in study area were calculated for model operation. For the calibration and verification of model, 2006 water quality dataset from Ministry of Environment and the effluent loadings of the environmental fundamental facilities were used. Reliability Index (RI) method was used to estimate the validity of the results of calibration and verification. The phosphorous contribution rate(%) for each environmental fundamental facility were analyzed by excepting the effluent loading of the facility. The contribution rate was analyzed for each facility, facility groups separated by each main river and each unit-watershed. The main results of analysis for each facility are as follows; (i) the phosphorous contribution of B1 facility is 50%, which is the highest phosphorous contribution rate among those of nine facilities in the North-Han River Basin; (ii) the highest phosphorous contribution is 55.6% from J facility among eight facilities in the Gyungan Stream Basin; (iii) 40% from E treatment facility is the highest among those of twenty eight facilities in the South-Han River Basin.

  • It defined the standard list of the urban foundation facility which from the local self-government it is managing with commonness and standard items and standard option and a construction plan it drew up "Urban Foundation Facility Electronic Library" it researched. "Urban Foundation Facility Electronic Library" defines with the aggregate of the component DB which lets to collect the organization, quality and form of the urban Foundation facility back attribute item system from the Geographic Information System(GIS). Consequently after the "Urban Foundation Facility Electronic Library" is constructed, it presented the application plan from on-the-spot inspection. Also it applied in the ubiquitous environment which is actualized quickly the plan which it does in the RFID and sensor network and electronic library grafting it presented. The connection use of the RFID and was possible from the Facility civil official test which applies the RFID.
