여대생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도 (Woman College Students' Perception of Their Parent's Child-rearing Attitudes)

  • Purpose: This study was carried out to show the parental child-rearing attitudes perceived by daughters(woman college students), who were in the process of pursuit of resonable values, ethics and preparing for marriage and settling down, and another purposes were to help them to have positive attitudes toward their child-rearing in the future and set up preliminary parenting education program. Method: The subjects were 120 woman college students who were freshmen to junior in one university in Seoul. Using the self-report questionnaire, data were collected from December in 1999 to March in 2000. The contents which subjects wrote down were categorized by content analysis method. Result: 1) The age range of subjects were 19-25 years old and main rearer was mother(85.84%). 2) The perception of parent's child-rearing by subjects were revealed 555 statements and then tied together 50 themes: 'emphasizing on studying hard'(8.3%), 'doing by oneself'(5.6%), 'sternness'(5.2%), 'respect of personality'(4.5%), 'eagerness'(4.0%), 'humanity education'(4.0%), 'moderating in daily living'(4.0%), 'propriety education'(3.8%), 'sacrificing for children'(3.6%), 'expectation'(3.2%), 'concerning'(3.1%), 'parent-centered'(3.1%), 'giving a free hand'(2.9%), 'sharing with'(2.9%), 'consideration'(2.7%), 'over-protectiveness'(2.3%), 'hostile attitude' (2.2%), 'corporal punishment'(2.2%), 'expression of parental love'(2.0%), 'encouragement'(1.8%), 'family-centered' (1.8%), 'treating fairly'(1.6%), 'offering live experiences'(1.6%), 'exacting obedience'(1.62%), 'exemplary parental role' (1.6%), 'sexual discrimination'(1.6%), 'cooperation'(1.4%), 'giving favors'(1.4%), 'indifference'(1.4%), 'understanding' (1.3%), 'confidence'(1.3%), 'intimacy'(1.3%), 'pursuit of health'(1.3%), 'warm-hearted'(1.1%), 'stinginess'(1.1%),'broad-mindedness'(0.7%), 'granting'(0.7%), 'interfering'(0.7%), 'reproach'(0.7%), 'distinction of sex in household affairs'(0.7%), 'help'(0.5%), 'preparing for the future'(0.5%), 'disregarding'(0.5%), 'making environment'(0.4%), 'bringing up a child personally' (0.4%), 'comparing'(0.4%), 'religious life'(0.4%), 'good deed'(0.4%), invasion of privacy' (0.2%), 'controlling desire'(0.2%). 3) 50 themes were categorized by 18 categories once more: 'control' (13.2%), 'crazy for education'(12.3%), 'endeavoring'(8.6%), 'autonomy'(8.5%), 'home education'(7.7%), 'esteem' (6.67%), 'support'(6.67%), 'pursuit of healthy daily life'(5.6%), 'earnestness'(5.4%), 'disregarding personality'(5.4%), 'emotional bonding'(3.2%), 'imposing a burden'(3.2%). 'inhospitality'(3.1%), 'acceptance'(5%), 'discrimination'(2.3%), 'mature parenthood'(1.8%), 'strengthening family tie'(1.8%), 'psychological intimacy'(1.1%). 4) On the basis of this study, 3/5 of subjects(61.2%) perceived their parents had mature and autonomous child-rearing attitudes, and on the other hand 2/5(39.5%) of them perceived controlling, just forcing to work harder and personally disregarding attitudes. Conclusion: So we need to offer them nursing implementation such as preliminary parenting education program and parenting consulting like to strengthen positive perception and help improving in realistic, developmental child-rearing attitudes.

  • 본 연구는 초등학생(4~6학년)을 대상으로 부모의 태도와 인권의식, 자아존중감과의 관계를 토대로 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모의 태도가 인권의식에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 자아존중감이 부모의 태도와 인권의식 관계를 매개하는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구결과 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모태도와 인권의식, 자아존중감의 관계에서 모두 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모태도와 인권의식 관계에서 자아존중감이 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서는 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모의 양육태도나 인권의식의 관계를 자아존중감을 통해 구체적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 통해 아동의 기본 권리에 자녀의 의사결정과 참여를 존중하는 부모의 역할이 필요하며, 인권의식을 높이는데 자아존중감의 매개적 역할의 중요성을 시사하고 있다.

간호대학생의 동성애에 대한 태도 영향요인; 성적 자기주장과 성역할 고정관념 중심으로 (Factors Influencing on Attitude toward Homosexuality among Nursing Students: Focusing on Sexual Assertiveness and Sex Stereotypes)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 성적 자기주장, 성역할 고정관념 및 동성애에 대한 태도 정도를 확인하고, 간호대학생의 동성애에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 연구이다. D광역시에 소재하는 2개 대학교 간호대학생 253명을 대상으로 2019년 4월 11일부터 4월 20일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS/WIN 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 연구대상자의 일반적 특징, t-test, ANOVA 분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석(multiple regression)을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 성적 자기주장은 평균 평점은 $4.44{\pm}0.37$점, 성 역할 고정관념은 $2.08{\pm}0.58$점, 동성애 태도는 $2.75{\pm}0.37$점로 나타났다. 일반적 특성에 따른 동성애 태도는 종교(F=13.32, p<.000), 종교생활(F=20.43, p<.000), 부모님의 양육태도(F=2.74, p<.044)가 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 대상자의 성적 자기주장과 동성애의 태도(r=-0.13, p=.034)는 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있으며, 성역할 고정관념과 동성애의 태도(r=0.24, p<.000)는 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 대상자의 종교, 종교생활, 성역할 고정관념이 동성애 태도에 유의한 영향요인으로 나타났으며, 영향요인의 설명력은 23.1%로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 간호대학생의 동성애 태도와 관련된 중재전략이 필요하고, 건강한 성 정체성을 위한 실천 방안과 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요할 것이다.

한국형 부모양육태도 검사를 이용한 학령전기 아동 아버지의 양육태도 (Child-rearing Attitudes of Fathers of Preschool Children: Korean Parent As A Teacher Inventory)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitude of fathers of preschool children to child rearing and to provide basic data to develop parent education programs. Method: The participants were 84 fathers of preschool children and the measurement tool was the Korean Parent As A Teacher Inventory self-report questionnaire and data were collected from 1 kindergarten and 1 child care center located in Gyeonggi Province. Results: 1) Child-rearing attitudes of the fathers was above average at $2.80({\pm}0.19)$. 2) There were significant difference statistically according to father's occupation (F=3.14, p=0.03) and child characteristics (F=4.87, p=0.01). 3) There were significant correlation between child rearing attitudes of the fathers and their age (${\tau}=-0.16$, p=0.04), and child characteristics (${\tau}=0.21$, p=0.02). Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that attitudes of fathers to child rearing are important and it is necessary to develop a systemic parenting education program.

간호 대학생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도와 성격과의 관계 (Relationship between Personality and Parental Rearing Attitudes perceived by Nursing College Students)

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the relationship between parental rearing attitudes and personality in nursing college students. Methods: A total of 297 subjects aged between 18 and 28 were selected through convenient sampling. Data were collected with a self-reported questionnaire from March 2 to 25, 2011. Collected data were analyzed with SpSS/pC Win 15.0. Results: Differences in parental rearing attitudes according to general characteristics were as follows. In parental rearing attitudes, acceptance were significantly different according to school record of their children. In maternal rearing attitudes, acceptance was significantly different according to economic status and paternal rearing attitudes perceived acceptance was significantly different according to parental education level. All of parental rearing attitudes perceived denial were significantly different according to the gender, grade, parental economic status, blood type, two income family. There was a positive correlation between parental rearing attitudes perceived acceptance and personality of their children except paternal rearing attitude perceived denial. 26.3% of variance in personality was explained by maternal rearing attitude perceived acceptance only. Conclusion: The findings of this study may be useful in understanding the personality of nursing college students and developing more specific personality and parental rearing attitudes programs.

초등학교 6학년 아동의 음주 영향요인 (Factors Affecting Alcohol Drinking of Sixth-grade Children in South Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing 6th graders' alcohol drinking. Methods: Data were collected by questionnaires from 524 6th-graders in G City. The data were analyzed using SAS 9.1.3 programme. Results: Of the children, 63.7% had no education about drinking, implying that drinking prevention education is not done properly in elementary schools. In addition, 70.6% of the children experienced drinking. Among those who had drinking experience, 24.9% experienced the first drinking before entrance into elementary school and this was the highest percentage. Logistic regression analysis showed that the predictors are religion, family type, mother's drinking frequency, and alcohol attitude. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that complementing home environment and parenting education would be effective for reducing children's drinking. Also, it is recommended that drinking prevention programs for children should be developed in consideration of various factors affecting children's drinking including the factors identified in the present study, and the effectiveness of those programs should be assessed.

아동의 도덕규범과 친사회적 문제행동 상황에서 어머니의 아동역량 판단, 귀인 및 통제 (Mother's Attributions and Control Behavior for Child's Misbehavior of Moral Norm and Prosocial Behavior)

  • This study integrated mother's control behavior of child's misbehavior within social domain analysis and the framework of attributional models of social cognition. The purpose of this study was to identify, compare and contrast maternal attributions and control responses according to child's age and domains of social behavior, and to investigate that mother's social cognition factors(authoritarian attitude and self competence perception) influence material inference and responses for their child's acts. Then this study was to find out whether mother's attribution would mediate their socialization techniques. For empirical research, 654 mothers with 5.6 year old and 8.9 year old children as subjects answered the structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed by frequencies, t-test, oneway ANOVA, and multiple regression. The major findings were as follows: First, according to child's two domains of misbehavior, there were differences in mothers'attribution and control behavior. Also mothers regarded older child's behavior as more dispositional cause and as more deserving of punishment than younger child's. Second, mother's authoritarian altitude of parenting, self-competence perception, and educational level were significantly related to mother's judgment. Third, the more authoritarian attitude mothers had, the more dispositional factor of children they attributed. And the lower self-competence mothers perceived. the more internal factor of child they attributed. Finally, maternal attributions and control responses are interrelated. When they attributed their children's misdeeds to internal dispositions, they respond with more stronger control behavior. The results suggested maternal social cognition mediate socialization behavior.

다문화 가정 아동의 학교생활적응 관련변인들 간의 관계구조분석 - 대구.경북지역을 중심으로 - (Structural Relationships among Variables Influencing Adjustment to School Life in Children from Multicultural Families - Daegu Gyeongbuk Area-)

  • This study investigated the structural relationships between parental attitude, social support, self-esteem, and levels of adjustment to school life of children from multicultural families. Participants were 177 elementary school children from multicultural families in 1st to 6th grade of elementary school in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk area of South Korea. The major findings were as follows. 1) Parenting attitude, social support, and self-esteem had direct effects on levels of children's adjustment to school life. 2) Parental attitudes and social support had direct effects on children's levels of self-esteem. 3) Parental attitudes and social support also had indirect effects on levels of adjustment to school life of these children. This study suggested that various concern and supports from multi level of society are required to improve adjustment to school life in children from multicultural families.

학령전기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 추가접종 의도에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors Associated with Intention for Additional Vaccination in Mothers with Children aged $4{\sim}6$ Years)

  • Purpose: The study was done to investigate factors in mothers related to their intention to get additional vaccination for their children aged $4{\sim}6$ years. Methods: A descriptive correlational study was conducted. The participants were 858 mothers conveniently selected from a public health center in Seoul. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation and stepwise multiple regression were used for data analysis. Results: The mothers got a high of 2.08 marks on intention to get additional vaccination. The intention was positively correlated to attitude, perceived benefits, self-efficacy and negatively to perceived barriers, parenting stress. The most significant variables was attitude, perceived benefits, self-efficacy and those three variables explained 42.7% of mother's intention for additional vaccination. Conclusion: The above mentioned findings were identified as significant factors affecting mother's intention for additional vaccination. The findings are expected to make a positive contribution to creating an ideal intervention and to promoting an increased vaccination rate.

도시 저소득층 밀집지역 중학생의 음주 영향요인 (Factors Affecting the Drinking of Middle School Students from an Urban Area Populated with Low-Income Families)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 도시 저소득층 밀집지역 중학생의 음주실태와 음주경험에 영향을 주는 요인을 알아보고 음주예방 프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 본 연구 대상자는 도시 저소득층 밀집지역에 위치한 학교에 다니고 있는 중학생 1192명이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 19.0 Program으로 기술통계, logistic regression으로 통계 처리하였다. 대상자의 음주 경험률은 44.1%로, 이 중 57.2%는 초등학교 혹은 그 이전에 첫 음주를 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 음주동기는 부모님 권유가 48.9%로 가장 높게 나타났고, 부모님의 12.0%는 자녀의 음주에 대해 무관심하고, 21.5%는 허용적이기까지 한 것으로 나타났다. 대상자의 외로움과 부 모 양육태도 점수는 각각 36.71점, 40.07점, 50.87점 이었다. 음주에 영향을 주는 예측요인은 학교생활만족도, 자녀의 음주에 대한 부모님의 태도, 부의 양육태도인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 도시 저소득층 밀집지역 중학생의 음주영향요인들을 고려한 음주관련 프로그램 개발과 향후 일반청소년의 음주에 영향을 미치는 변인과의 차이를 비교분석하는 후속연구의 필요성을 제안한다.
