배전시스템에서의 파라미터에 따른 과도현상 분석 (Transients Analysis for Parameters on Electrical Distribution System)

  • 본 논문은 배전시스템에서의 파라미터에 따른 과도현상을 분석하였다. 재투입에 의한 순간전압강하와 개폐서지를 분석하였으며, 이를 위해서 22.9[kV] 배전시스템의 실 데이터를 이용하여 다중접지된 모델 시스템을 구성하였다. EMTP 시뮬레이션을 통하여 주상변압기 2차측 수용가에서의 재투입 영향을 분석하였으며, 사고선로와 인근선로에서의 과도현상을 나타냈었다. 또한 사고위치, 부하크기, 부하역률, 캐패시터뱅크의 크기, 재투입 위상각에 대한 파라미터 분석을 하였고, 이들 요소와 재투입에 의한 과도 현상과의 관계를 나타내었다.

점성유체 중에 회전하는 스프링의 추진적 거동에 관한 수치해석 모델 (Numerical Model of Propulsive Behavior of a Rotating Spring in Viscous Fluid)

  • 본 논문에서는 박테리아 편모를 모사한 스프링 모델을 이용하여 박테리아의 편모의 추진적 거동에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 본 해석에서는 상용프로그램을 사용하였으며, 별도의 회전영역 설정에 따른 수치기법의 타당성 확인과 더불어 파라미터 연구를 수행하였다. 수치해석 결과는 전반적으로 Resistive force theory와는 잘 일치하지 않았지만, Slender body theory와는 잘 일치하였다. 그리고 스프링의 회전속도, 피치, 나선반경 및 유체의 점성의 영향을 확인하였다. 또한 벽과의 거리에 따른 효과도 분석하였다.

태양열 및 외기 열원식 히트펌프 시스템 시뮬레이션 (Simulation of Solar and Ambient-air-assisted Heat Pump)

  • Thermal performance of a SAAHPS (Solar and Ambient-air-assisted Heat Pump System) located in KIER is simulated with TRNSYS 14.2. The SAAHPS is composed of dual evaorators, each of which is used as a solar fluid heat source and an air fluid heat source. Polynomial coefficients data for the SAAHPS is supplied with Frigosoft, a program widely used for heat pump modeling. In general, collector area and storage volume are 2 key parameters in SAAHPS thermal performance. A parametric study is performed in this study to assess sensitivity of collector area and storage volume in SAAHPS. We concluded that firstly collector area and storage volume are the primary variables in SAAHPS thermal performance, secondly COP of SAAHPS is higher than that of conventional heat pumps. Therefore. collector efficiency can be enhanced swith SAAHPS during a heating season.

  • This paper provides an overview of system analysis of immunology. The theoretical research in this area is aimed at an understanding of the precise manner by which the immune system controls Infec pious diseases, cancer, and AIDS. This can provide a systematic plan for immunological experimentation by means of an integrated program of immune system analysis, mathematical modeling and computer simulation. Biochemical reactions and cellular fission are naturally modeled as nonlinear dynamical processes to synthesize the human immune system! as well as the complete organism it is intended to protect. A foundation for the control of tumors is presented, based upon the formulation of a realistic, knowledge based mathematical model of the interaction between tumor cells and the immune system. Ordinary bilinear differential equations which are coupled by such nonlinear term as saturation are derived from the basic physical phenomena of cellular and molecular conservation. The parametric control variables relevant to the latest experimental data are also considered. The model consists of 12 states, each composed of first-order, nonlinear differential equations based on cellular kinetics and each of which can be modeled bilinearly. Finally, tumor control as an application of immunotherapy is analyzed from the basis established.

3차원 수치해석을 통한 궤도지지말뚝의 동적거동 평가 (Evaluation of Dynamic Behavior for Pile-Supported Slab Track System by 3D Numerical Analysis)

  • Dynamic numerical simulation of pile-supported slab track system embedded in a soft soil and embankment was performed. 3D model was formulated in a time domain to consider the non-linearity of soil by utilizing FLAC 3D, which is a finite difference method program. Soil non-linearity was simulated by adopting the hysteric damping model and liner elements, which could consider soil-pile interface. The long period seismic loads, Hachinohe type strong motions, were applied for estimating seismic respose of the system, Parametric study was carried out by changing subsoil layer profile, embankment height and seismic loading conditions. The most of horizontal permanent displacement was initiated by slope failure. Increase of the embedded height and thickness of the soft soil layer leads increase of member forces of PHC piles; bending moment, and axial force. Finally, basic guidelines for designing pile-supported slab track system under seismic loading are recommended based on the analysis results.

고-기상 독성오염물질 단기 대기확산에 관한 수치해석적 연구 : 화학종, 온도, 상대속도 (A Numerical Study on the Short-term Dispersion of Toxic Gaseous and Solid Pollutant in an Open Atmosphere : Chemical Species, Temperature, Relative Velocity)

  • A series of parametric calculations have been performed in order to investigate the short-term and short-range plume and puff behavior of toxic gaseous and solid pollutant dispersion in an open atmosphere. The simulation is made by the use of the computer program developed by this laboratory, in which a control-volume based finite-difference method is used together with the SIMPLEC algorithm for the resolution of the pressure-velocity coupling appeared In Wavier-Stokes equation. The Reynolds stresses are solved by the standard two-equation k-$\varepsilon$ model modified for buoyancy together with the RNG(Renormalization Group) k-$\varepsilon$ model. The major parameters considered in this calculation are pollutant gas density and temperature, the relative velocity of pollutants to that of the surrounding atmospheric air, and particulate size and density together with the height released. The flow field is typically characterized by the formation of a strong recirculation region for the case of the low density gases such as $CH_4$ and air due to the strong buoyancy, while the flow is simply declining pattern toward the downstream ground for the case of heavy molecule like the $CH_2C1_2$and $CCl_4$, even for the high temperature, $200^{\circ}C$. The effect of gas temperature and velocity on the flow field together with the particle trajectory are presented and discussed in detail. In general, the results are physically acceptable and consistent.

  • 이 논문은 세탁기의 진동제어를 위한 MR 댐퍼의 설계과정을 제시한다. 이 연구에서는 MR 댐퍼의 작은 크기와 함께 높은 댐핑력과 저전력을 소비하도록 설계되었다. MR 댐퍼는 전단모드를 사용하도록 제안되었고 빙햄모델을 이용하여 최설설계를 진행하였다. 이 과정에서 멀티코일이 댐핑력을 높이기 위해 적용되었고 최적화된 구조를 찾아내기 위하여 APDL을 이용하여 최적설계가 수행되었다. 이 후 최적의 수치 값들을 통해 제작하여 실험을 수행하였다. 이 때 슬라이딩모드 제어기를 적용하여 시뮬레이션과 제어실험을 모두 수행하였다. 실험의 결과로부터 MR 댐퍼가 세탁기의 진동제어를 위한 요구 댐핑력을 만족시켜줌을 확인하였다.

Numerical simulation of concrete beams reinforced with composite GFRP-Steel bars under three points bending

  • Fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) applications in the structural engineering field include concrete-FRP composite systems, where FRP components are either attached to or embedded into concrete structures to improve their structural performance. This paper presents the results of an analytical study conducted using finite element model (FEM) to simulate the behavior of three-points load beam reinforced with GFRP and/or steel bars. To calibrate the FEM, a small-scale experimental program was carried out using six reinforced concrete beams with $200{\times}200mm$ cross section and 1000 mm length cast and tested under three point bending load. The six beams were divided into three groups, each group contained two beams. The first group was a reference beams which was cast without any reinforcement, the second group concrete beams was reinforced using GFRP, and the third group concrete beams was reinforced with steel bars. Nonlinear finite element simulations were executed using ANSYS software package. The difference between the theoretical and experimental results of beams vertical deflection and beams crack shapes were within acceptable degree of accuracy. Parametric study using the calibrated model was carried out to evaluate two parameters (1) effect of number and position of longitudinal main bars on beam behavior; (2) performance of concrete beam with composite longitudinal reinforcement steel and GFRP bars.

회전 차축 및 유기압 현가장치를 장착한 대용량 세미 트레일러의 주행 동특성 해석 (Analysis for the Driving Dynamic Characteristics of Large Scale Semi-Trailer Equipped with Swivel Axle and Hydropneumatic Suspension Unit)

  • Driving dynamic characteristics of semi-trailer loaded with precise equipments are very important to protect them from vibration, impact or other disturbances. In this paper, in order to identify the driving dynamic characteristics of the large scale semi-trailer equipped with swivel axle and hydropneumatic suspension unit, Dynamics Modeling & Simulation(M&S) were performed using general Dynamics Analysis Program(RecurDyn V9R2). The semi-trailer was modeled as two types - one is Multi Rigid Body Dynamics(MRBD) model, and the other Rigid-Flexible Body Dynamics(RFlex) one. The natural vibration mode and frequencies of semi-trailer body, acceleration of dummy-weight, pitch, roll and yaw of dummy-weight, swivel axle and hydropneumatic suspension cylinder support structure, and acting force of hydropneumatic suspensions etc. were obtained from the M&S. Additionally frequency analysis were performed using the data of behavior obtained from above M&S. Generally the quantitative results of RFlex are larger than them of MRBD in view of magnitude of the comparable parametric values.

복합재 튜브를 이용한 고속 열차의 에너지 흡수장치에 대한 실험 및 수치해석 연구 (Experimental and Numerical Studies on Composite Tubes for the Energy Absorber of High-speed Train)

  • 본 논문에서는 복합재료 튜브를 이용한 고속 열차의 에너지 흡수장치에 대한 실험 및 수치 해석에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 논문의 목적은 에너지 흡수장치에 대한 최적의 적층(lay-up) 형태를 알아내는 것으로, quasi static method를 이용한 네 가지 적층 형태에 대한 실험을 수행 하였다: $[0/45/90/-45]_4$, $[0]_{16}$, $[0/90]_8$, $[0/30/-30]_5$, 실험을 위해 초기 파괴 시작점을 생성하고, 일정 방향으로 진행되는 파괴를 만들기 위해 베벨 엣지(bevel edge)와 노치 엣지(notch edge)의 두 가지 트리거링 방법을 이용하였다. 저속 충돌실험 결과 $[0/45/90/-45]_4$의 적층 형태가 다른 방법과 비교해서 가장 좋은 에너지 흡수 결과를 보여주였다. 수치해석을 위해 LS-DYNA 프로그램의 변수 분석(parametric analysis)을 통해 가장 적합한 복합재료의 quasi static 실험 시뮬레이션 방법 연구를 수행하였다. 움직이는 벽이 복합재 튜브에 저속 충돌하는 모델을 가정하여 해석을 수행하였으며, 실험값과 수치해석 결과의 비교를 통해 비슷한 경향을 보임을 확인 하였다. 특히 TFAIL과 mass scaling factor를 조절하며 수행하는 변수 분석은 LS-DYNA에서 복합재 튜브의 quasi static 실험을 시뮬레이션 하는 능력과 한계를 보여준다.
