적응 퍼지제어를 이용한 컨테이너 크레인의 고성능제어 (High Performance Control of Container Crane using Adaptive-Fuzzy Control)

  • 본 논문은 컨테이너 크레인의 속도 및 위치의 고성능 제어를 위하여 적응 퍼지제어를 제안하였다. 컨테이너 크레인의 전동기는 에너지 및 환경문제에 대한 강인성을 갖는 가변속 드라이브인 SynRM으로 설정하였다. 종래의 PI 제어기는 파라미터 변동 및 외부환경에 의하여 트롤리의 정확한 위치, 속도와 sway 각을 제어하는데 어려움이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 적응 퍼지제어를 설계하여 크레인에 적용된 SynRM 드라이브의 성능을 분석하였다. 본 논문에서는 종래의 PI 제어와 적응 퍼지제어의 위치 및 속도 응답특성을 분석하고 비교함으로써, 논문의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • This paper is proposed HAI controller for high performance of induction motor drive. The design of this algorithm based on FNN controller that is implemented using fuzzy control and neural network. This controller uses fuzzy rule as training patterns of a neural network. The control performance of the HAI controller is evaluated by analysis for various operating conditions. The results of analysis prove that the proposed control system has strong high performance and robustness to parameter variation, and steady-state accuracy and transient response.

A modified particle swarm approach for multi-objective optimization of laminated composite structures

  • Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is a stochastic population based optimization algorithm which has attracted attentions of many researchers. This method has great potentials to be applied to many optimization problems. Despite its robustness the standard version of PSO has some drawbacks that may reduce its performance in optimization of complex structures such as laminated composites. In this paper by suggesting a new variation scheme for acceleration parameters and inertial weight factors of PSO a novel optimization algorithm is developed to enhance the basic version's performance in optimization of laminated composite structures. To verify the performance of the new proposed method, it is applied in two multi-objective design optimization problems of laminated cylindrical. The numerical results from the proposed method are compared with those from two other conventional versions of PSO-based algorithms. The convergancy of the new algorithms is also compared with the other two versions. The results reveal that the new modifications inthe basic forms of particle swarm optimization method can increase its convergence speed and evade it from local optima traps. It is shown that the parameter variation scheme as presented in this paper is successful and can evenfind more preferable optimum results in design of laminated composite structures.

  • This paper utilizes the method of Q-parameterization control to design a controller which solves the problem of imbalance in magnetic bearing systems. There are two methods to solve this problem using feedback controal. The first method is to compensate for the imbalance forces by generating opposing forces on the bearing surface (imbalance compensation). The second method is to make the rotor rotate around its axis of inertia (automatic balancing);in this case no imbalance forces will be generated. In this paper we deal with only imbalance compensation. The free parameter of the Q-parameterization controller is chosen such that these goals are achieved. After the introduction of a model of the magnetic bearing system, we explain the Q-parameterization controller design of the magnetic bearing system with emphasis on the rejection of sinusoidal disturbance for imbalance compensation design. The design objectives are formulated as a linear equations in the controller free paramete Q. Finally, simulation and experimental results are presented and showed the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed controllers.

Discriminative Manifold Learning Network using Adversarial Examples for Image Classification

  • This study presents a novel approach of discriminative feature vectors based on manifold learning using nonlinear dimension reduction (DR) technique to improve loss function, and combine with the Adversarial examples to regularize the object function for image classification. The traditional convolutional neural networks (CNN) with many new regularization approach has been successfully used for image classification tasks, and it achieved good results, hence it costs a lot of Calculated spacing and timing. Significantly, distrinct from traditional CNN, we discriminate the feature vectors for objects without empirically-tuned parameter, these Discriminative features intend to remain the lower-dimensional relationship corresponding high-dimension manifold after projecting the image feature vectors from high-dimension to lower-dimension, and we optimize the constrains of the preserving local features based on manifold, which narrow the mapped feature information from the same class and push different class away. Using Adversarial examples, improved loss function with additional regularization term intends to boost the Robustness and generalization of neural network. experimental results indicate that the approach based on discriminative feature of manifold learning is not only valid, but also more efficient in image classification tasks. Furthermore, the proposed approach achieves competitive classification performances for three benchmark datasets : MNIST, CIFAR-10, SVHN.

  • This paper is proposed adaptive fuzzy-neuro controller for high performance of induction motor drive. The design of this algorithm based on fuzzy-neural network controller that is implemented using fuzzy control and neural network. This controller uses fuzzy rule as training patterns of a neural network. Also, this controller uses the back-propagation method to adjust the weights between the neurons of neural network in order to minimize the error between the command output and actual output. A model reference adaptive scheme is proposed in which the adaptation mechanism is executed by fuzzy logic based on the error and change of nor measured between the motor speed and output of a reference model. The control performance of the adaptive fuzy-neuro controller is evaluated by analysis for various operating conditions. The results of experiment prove that the proposed control system has strong high performance and robustness to parameter variation, and steady-state accuracy and transient response.

DNP을 이용한 플랜트의 강인 안정화 기법 (A Method of Robust Stabilization of the Plants Using DNP)

  • 본 논문에서는 외란이나 시스템의 파라미터 변동 및 불확실성 등이 존재하는 자동화 설비시스템을 강인하고 정밀하게 제어할 수 있도록 하기 위해 동적 신경망 처리기(DNP)인 신경망 제어기를 설계하였다. 자동화 설비시스템에서 부품의 조립, 가공 등 복잡하고 정교한 임무를 수행시키기 위해서는 end-effector의 이동경로 궤적에 대한 추적제어 뿐만 아니라 목표물에 대하여 접촉하는 힘의 궤적에 대한 추적 제어가 필수적이다. 또한 자동화 설비시스템에서 플랜트의 역기구학적인 좌표변환을 계산하기 위한 학습구조를 개발하였으며, DNP가 이용될 수 있는 예를 설명하였다. 제안된 동적 신경망인 DNP의 구조와 학습 알고리즘을 제시하고 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해 학습 성능을 증명하였다.

Adaptive-Predictive Controller based on Continuous-Time Poisson-Laguerre Models for Induction Motor Speed Control Improvement

  • Induction Motor (IM) has several desirable features for high performance adjustablespeed operation. This paper presents the design of a robust controller for vector control induction motor drive performances improvement. Proposed predictive speed controller, which is aimed to guarantee the stability of the closed loop, is based on the Poisson-Laguerre (PL) models for the association vector control drive and the induction motor; without necessity of any mechanical parameter, and requires only two control parameters to ensure implicitly the integrator effect on the steady state error, load torque disturbances rejection and anti-windup effect. In order to improve robustness, insensitivity against external disturbances and preserve desired performance, adaptive control is added with the aim to ensure an online identification of controller parameters through an online PL models identification. The proposed control is compared with the conventional approach using PI controller. Simulation with MATLAB/SIMULINK software and experimental results for a 1kW induction motor using a dSPACE system with DS1104 controller board are carried out to show the improvement performance.

야지 자율주행을 위한 환경에 강인한 지형분류 기법 (Robust Terrain Classification Against Environmental Variation for Autonomous Off-road Navigation)

  • This paper presents a vision-based robust off-road terrain classification method against environmental variation. As a supervised classification algorithm, we applied a neural network classifier using wavelet features extracted from wavelet transform of an image. In order to get over an effect of overall image feature variation, we adopted environment sensors and gathered the training parameters database according to environmental conditions. The robust terrain classification algorithm against environmental variation was implemented by choosing an optimal parameter using environmental information. The proposed algorithm was embedded on a processor board under the VxWorks real-time operating system. The processor board is containing four 1GHz 7448 PowerPC CPUs. In order to implement an optimal software architecture on which a distributed parallel processing is possible, we measured and analyzed the data delivery time between the CPUs. And the performance of the present algorithm was verified, comparing classification results using the real off-road images acquired under various environmental conditions in conformity with applied classifiers and features. Experiments show the robustness of the classification results on any environmental condition.
