병렬형 하이브리드 전기자동차 구동계의 Jerk 저감 제어 (Drive-train Jerk Reduction Control for Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicles)

  • TMED(Transmission Mounted Electric Device) parallel hybrid configuration can realize EV(Electric Vehicle) mode by disengaging the clutch between an engine and a transmission-mounted motor to improve efficiencies of low load driving and regenerative braking. In the EV mode, however, jerk can be induced since there are insufficient damping elements in the drive-train. Though the jerk gives demoralizing influence upon driving comport, adding a physical damper is not applicable due to constraints of the layout. This study suggests the jerk reduction control, composed of active damping method and torque profiling method, to suppress the jerk without hardware modification. The former method creates a virtual damper by generating absorbing torque in the opposite direction of the oscillation. The latter method reduces impulse on the mated gear teeth of the drive-train by limiting the gradient of traction torque when the direction of the torque is reversed. To validate the effectiveness of the suggested strategy, a series of vehicle tests are carried out and it is observed that the amplitude of the oscillation can be reduced by up to 83%.

단상 SRM 구동을 위한 새로운 능동 부스트 전력 컨버터 (A Novel Active Boost Power Converter for single phase SRM)

  • In this paper, a novel active boost converter for SR drive is proposed. An active capacitor circuit is added in the front-end. Based on this active capacitor network, when boost switch turns off, this network seems as passive capacitor network. And the voltage of boost capacitor can keep balance with dc-link voltage automatically. In the capacitor network, discharging voltage is general dc-link voltage in parallel-connected capacitors; charging voltage is double dc-link voltage in series-connected capacitors. When boost switch turns on, two capacitors are connected in series, and discharging voltage is up to double dc-link voltage. So the fast excitation current can be obtained from this mode. Profit from fast excitation and fast demagnetization mode, the performance and output power can be improved. Some computer simulations are done to verify the performance of proposed converter.

  • This paper presents a hybrid winding connection method for torque characteristics improving of a traction SRM. In order to get a high torque in wide speed range and torque ripple reduction, series and parallel winding connection are changed according to operating speed. From the analysis of torque character operation mode and efficiency, the proposed control scheme is verified.

  • We made 250 kHz filter bank based on FBS250 model designed by Millitech. It consists of 256 channels centered at 1391 MHz. The minimum detectable input level is -56 dBm/channel, and the maximum continuous integration time is about 1.3 seconds. This spectrometer can be operated in parallel or series mode with other spectrometers.

  • 본 논문은 병렬-입력 직렬-출력 구조의 모듈형 DAB (Dual active bridge) 컨버터의 출력 전압 평형 제어기법을 제안한다. 이를 위해, 먼저 모듈형 DAB 컨버터를 모델링하고 계층형 슬라이딩모드(Hierarchical SMC) 제어기를 설계한다. 제안된 기법을 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증한다.

Series tuned mass dampers in train-induced vibration control of railway bridges

  • This paper presents the series multiple tuned mass dampers (STMDs) to suppress the resonant vibrations of railway bridges under the passage of high-speed trains (HSTs). A STMD device consisting of two spring-mass-damper units connected each other in series is installed on the bridge. In solution, bridge is modeled as a simply-supported Euler-Bernoulli beam with constant cross-section, and vehicle is simulated as a series of moving forces with constant speed. By the assumed mode method, the governing equations of motion of the beam-TMD device coupled system traversed by a moving train are obtained. The optimum values for the parameters of the STMD device are obtained for the criterion based on the minimization of the maximum dynamic displacement of the beam at its midspan. Single TMD and multiple TMDs in parallel are also considered for demonstration of the STMD device's performance. The results show that STMDs are effective in bridge vibration suppression and robust to parameters' change in the main system and the absorber itself.

  • In this paper, the input split type series-parallel hybrid electric vehicle (SPHEV) is established and the interpretation of the dynamic characteristics in four kinds of HEV modes, such as electric vehicle mode, engine mode, hybrid mode, and regeneration mode, is described. For this research, the forward-facing approach simulation method is chosen, which is useful for vehicle dynamic analysis. The rating of each powertrain component is designed based on energy-based concept and electrical peaking hybrid (ELPH) method. Finally, the designed powertrain is evaluated with the developed PSiM simulator and simulation results are shown.

  • In this paper, several fields for improving shift quality and mode conversion quality are presented and considered. For a series type hybrid vehicle, improving mode conversion quality is important because it changes its speed with its own motors. A parallel type hybrid vehicle usually has AT or AMT, and its motor and engine can work independently. Therefore, improving both of two qualities is equally important in this case. For a power split type hybrid vehicle, improving mode conversion quality is more important due to the existence of planetary gears which change vehicle's speed.

출력이 직렬 결합된 단상 Quasi Z-소스 AC-AC 컨버터 (A Single-Phase Quasi Z-Source AC-AC Converter with a Series Connection of the Output Terminals)

  • 본 연구에서는 출력이 직렬 연결된 단상 quasi Z-소스 AC-AC 컨버터를 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템은 단상quasi Z-소스 AC-AC 컨버터 2대의 입력 단을 병렬로 연결하고 출력 단을 직렬로 연결한 구조로 되어 있으며, 역상 모드와 동상 모드 별 전류 흐름과 출력전압의 형성 과정을 나타내었다. DSP로 제어되는 실험 시스템을 제작하여 PSIM시뮬레이션 결과와 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 각 모드별로 듀티 비를 제어하여 원하는 출력 전압을 벅-부스트 할 수 있었다. 컨버터 1대가 단독으로 운전한 경우에 비하여, 각각의 모드에 대하여 부하 저항의 증가에 따른컨버터 효율과 입력 역률을 제안된 방법에 의하여 개선할 수 있었다. 또한 역상 모드의 경우, 일정 부하에서 컨버터의 효율과 입력 역률을 각각 10[%]와 35[%]정도 개선하였으며, 특히 부하 저항이 변동하는 과도상태에서도 일정한 출력 전압을 유지할 수 있었다.

수리동력학적 캐비테이션을 이용한 하수 슬러지의 전처리-I: 전처리 시스템의 최적화 (Sludge Pre-Treatment by Hydrodynamic Cavitation-I: Optimization of Pre-Treatment System)

  • 하수 슬러지의 혐기성 소화성을 향상시키기 위한 다양한 전처리 방법이 제시되어 있지만, 대부분 낮은 경제성 등의 문제로 현장 적용에 제한을 받고 있다. 본 연구는 장치의 구성 및 유지관리가 용이한 수리동력학적 캐비테이션 방법을 이용한 venturi cavitation system (VCS)의 전처리 효율을 향상시키기 위한 최적 설계 및 운전조건을 도출하기 위하여 수행하였다. VCS에서 벤츄리의 직렬 연결 개수는 3개일 때 가장 높은 전처리 효율을 나타내었고, 펌프는 흡입방식이 압송방식에 비하여 단위 에너지 투입량 당 1.6배 높은 전처리 효율을 나타내었다. 캐비테이션이 발생하는 조건에서 벤츄리의 목 직경 조합은 전처리 효율에 영향을 주지 않았다. 또한 3개의 벤츄리가 직렬로 연결된 벤츄리를 병렬로 설치할 경우 에너지 투입량 당 전처리 효율이 30% 향상되었다. 병렬 연결 운전조건으로 슬러지를 처리하였을 때, 에너지 소모량 당 가용화 효율은 5.6 mg ${\Delta}SCOD/g$ TS/kWh로 기존의 수리동력학적 전처리장치보다 우수하였다.
