The aim of this paper is to review the role of board size as part of the corporate governance system. This paper discusses one aspect of corporate governance, namely, boards, in the Indonesian context. Using the literature review method, this paper explores factors that need to be considered to determine the optimal number of boards, especially in Indonesia. We explore some determinants of board size, such as complexity and leverage, ownership structure, and financial ratio support. The results reveal that an understanding of the differences found in the two-tier board model helps us understand that the different functions of the board of commissioners and the board of directors require different test treatments from countries that adhere to one-tier systems. A review of the relationship between board size and company performance is expected to provide the corporate governance literature with insights into optimizing the sizes of boards that can improve company performance, both in terms of boards of commissioners and boards of directors. This paper proposes the simultaneous testing of board size's relationship with company performance. The results of this study are expected to make a more real contribution about the effect of board size on company performance.

상품 또는 상점에 대해 거짓된 후기를 남기는 악의적인 사용자가 증가함에 따라 사용자에게 신뢰성 있는 정보를 제공하는 데 어려움을 겪고 있다. 거짓된 후기는 리뷰 스팸이라고 불리는데, 제품을 홍보하거나, 평판을 훼손하기 위해 작성된다. 이는 제품의 판매량에 직접 영향을 미치기 때문에 이러한 리뷰 스팸을 탐지할 필요가 있다. 국내 쇼핑 사이트에서도 리뷰 스팸은 흔히 접할 수 있으나, 기존 연구에서 제안된 방법은 모두 외국 사이트에서만 평가되었다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 리뷰 스팸을 탐지하는 기존 방법의 소개와 더불어 네이버 쇼핑의 리뷰 특성을 파악하고, 리뷰 스팸을 탐지하는 여러 가지 방법을 네이버 쇼핑에 적용하여 성능을 평가하였다.

Reactor Vessel Internals(RVIs), which are installed within the reactor pressure vessel and support the fuel assembly, take responsibility for safety of reactor core. In operating Nuclear Power Plants(NPPs), the RVIs have been exposed to severe conditions such as neutron irradiation, high temperature, high pressure, and high velocity of coolant flow and have degraded by materials aging with long-term operation. Therefore, the effective aging management plan and the appropriate regulatory requirements are necessary to maintain the integrity of RVIs. The purpose of this paper is to provide a review guide for Periodic Safety Review(PSR) of RVIs in presurized water reactor. The review guide is developed based on the revised review guides and reports established from IAEA and USNRC, and the analysis results of design characteristics, aging mechanisms, and operating experiences of RVIs in domestic and international NPPs. Consequently, the developed review guide for PSR of RVIs is expected to contribute an overall strategy and standard for the PSR of RVIs.

Starting from April, 2003, new pre-review system has been introduced and implemented to reduce unnecessary conflict with medical care organizations caused by current retrospective claim review system and to enhance efficiency of review system. The main purpose of pre-review system is to educate doctors to contrive adequacy of medical services. This research mainly focuses on effectiveness of pre-review system's influence on physicians' behavior changes. The analysis-participants were drawn from 1,449 clinics which implemented pre-review system, since April of 2003. The research results are as followings. First, the amount per claim has reduced by $\\3,154$, days of visit per claim by 0.1 day, and amount per visit by $\\412$, which were statistically significant. Second, anesthesiologists have decreased in three indicators the most, and the internists had least of changes. Third, the amount per claim and days of visit per claims has dropped significantly on physicians with less periods of practice and physicians with more ages. Fourth, the clinics without the expensive medical equipments, the city clinics showed significant decrease on days of visit per claim. Fifth, in intervention methods, the one-to-one education showed more significant decrease on amount per visit rather than information feedback by paper. In conclusion, the pre-review system have an impact on self-imposed physician behavioral change. The outcome of this research may be utilized for future extension implementation of pre-review system. Furthermore, it is showed that ability of transitions in medical services review system according to the future transition of payment system and context of health service policy.

일반적으로 프로젝트를 수행하는 과정에서 적절한 기술 계획에 따라 진척도 및 성과에 대한 기술검토를 규칙적으로 실시하게 된다. 그러나 일정 시점에서 수행되는 기술검토를 진행하는 과정에서 불명확한 진척도 및 성과 보고, 의견의 불일치, 시간지연 등 여러 가지 문제가 발생한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 규칙적인 기술검토 이전에 동료검토를 진행하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 연구개발을 수행하는 과정에 활용되는 효과적인 동료검토 프로세스를 개발하였으며, 추가적으로 동료검토에 관한 일반적인 오해와 개선방안에 대해 서술하였다.

본 연구에서는 온라인 쇼핑몰 상황에서 이전사업경험, 제품속성과 온라인 고객의견이 신제품 매출성과에 미친 영향을 살펴보았다. 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 제품 성과에 대한 연구들은 선진국 온라인 쇼핑몰을 중심으로 고객들의 구전효과에 초점을 두고 연구를 진행해 왔으며 상대적으로 기업특성이나 제품속성에 대한 연구는 미흡하였다. 본 연구에서는 중국 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 판매중인 총 407개 TV모델들을 대상으로 기업특성, 제품속성 및 온라인 고객의견이 제품 매출성과에 미친 영향을 살펴보았다. 기업특성에서는 이전TV제조업체들의 제품이 신규 진입기업들의 제품들보다 매출성과가 높았다. 제품속성에서는 경쟁제품 대비 초기 가격수준이 낮을수록 성과가 높으며 가격할인율이 높은 경우에는 오히려 매출성과가 낮았다. 전반적인 제품의 기술경쟁력 수준이 높을수록 판매성과가 높으며 신기능의 특성에 따라 매출성과에 미친 효과는 다르게 나타났다. 제품별 온라인 고객평가 의견수가 많을수록 해당 제품의 매출성과는 높은 것으로 나타난 반면, 온라인 고객평가 점수는 매출성과에 유의한 영향관계나 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 쇼핑몰 상황에서 신제품 매출성과 향상을 위한 이론적 실무적 의의를 제시하고 향후 연구과제들을 제시하였다.

This paper presents a review of the important recent literature available in the area of micro-channel flow analysis and mixing. The topics covered include the physics of flows in micro-channels and integrated simulation of micro-channel flows. Also the flow control models and electro-kinetically driven micro-channel flows are explained. A comparison of various mixing principles in micro-channels are provided in sufficient detail.

The purpose of this paper is to review the major issues of between electronic trade and Ubiquitous computing. The rapidly developed environment by ubiquitous computing make the paradigm form e-trade to u-trade. This Article suggests an a-trade performance framework based on both field and literatures surveys. We propose some research subjects as well as practical implications for improving the performance of global c-trade under ubiquitous.

Main functions of Generator Circuit Breaker(GCB) is cut the generator off from the main transformers and the aux. transformers when plant trip or startup. In this paper, the design requirements For GCB of nuclear power plant is examined. NRC presented the area of review, acceptance criteria and review procedures of GCB in the SRP(Standard Review Plan). In Korea, APR1400 adapted the GCB in main power system.

Polyamide (PA) is one of five engineering plastic materials which has good mechanical properties and competitive price compared to other engineering plastics and it has various applications including in the areas of automotives, electronics and aerospace industry. Even though PA market grows fast compared to other engineering plastics, it has few organized literatures regarding researches and applications. In this paper, we review overall background, characteristics, formulation, current market trends and technology development of PA resins and their composites.
