This research investigated how people are influenced to adopt online review. We applied the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to this study. Our research model highlights the assessment of online review usefulness as a mediator from online review quality to online review adoption. This research predicted online review consensus has a role to bulid up online reviw usefulness. This study also includes vividness and perceived similarity as determinants of online review quality. Survey data reflect user's perceptions of actual online review they read. Results support most of research hypotheses except hypothesis related to moderating effect of user involvement. This research offers a model for understanding online review user's acceptance. Additional theoretical and practical implications are also discussed in the paper.

Purpose: This paper was written to introduce methods of using the research ethics committee (RES) from requesting the initial review to reporting the close-out for nursing researchers. Methods: General ethical principles were described by reviewing the 'Bioethics and Safety Act' and other related guidelines, and constructing some questions and answers. Results: The results were composed of three parts; definition of RES, steps in using RES, and archiving. The 7 steps for using RES were; identifying whether the study needed to be reviewed, by the RES identifying whether the study could be exempted, requesting the initial review after preparing documents, requesting the re-review, requesting an amendment review, requesting a continuing review and reporting the close-out. Conclusion: Nursing researchers need to receive RES approval before starting nursing research involving human subjects. Nursing researchers are urged to use the steps reported in this paper to receive RES approval easily and quickly.

Space-based Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) observations have been widely and successfully applied to acquire invaluable temporal and spatial information on wetlands, which are unique environments and regarded as important ecosystems. One of the best studied wetland area is Everglades, which is located in southern Florida, USA. As a World Heritage Site, the Everglades is the largest natural and subtropical wilderness in the United States. The Everglades wetlands have been threatened by anthropogenic activities such as urban expansion and agricultural development, as well as by natural processes, as sea level changes due to climate change. In order to conserve this unique wetland environment, various restoration plans have been implemented. In this review paper, we summarize the main studies using space-based SAR observations for monitoring the Everglades. The paper is composed of the following two sections: (1) review of backscattered amplitude analysis and observations, and (2) review of interferometric SAR (InSAR) analysis and applications. This study also provides an overview of a wetland InSAR technique and space-based SAR sensors. The goal of this review paper is to provide a comprehensive summary of space-based SAR monitoring of wetlands, using the Everglades wetlands as a case study.

Typically, we regularly have carried out a technical review to know a progress status and outcomes of a project to the appropriate technical plans. But during the technical review executed at a planned point of time, lots of problems; reports of an ambiguous progress status and outcomes, a discordance between opinions, and an hour's delay, have been occurred. To solve those problems an early stage, an informal reviews are executed before the formal technical review. One of the informal review is the Peer-Review. This paper is a matter of the effective and efficient Reer-Review process utilized in performing the national research and development project. Additionally, it was presented a general misunderstanding and improvement plan about the Peer-Review.

Nowadays, people share and discuss scientific papers on social media such as the Web 2.0, big data, online forums, blogs, Twitter, Facebook and scholar community, etc. In addition to a variety of metrics such as numbers of citation, download, recommendation, etc., paper review text is also one of the effective resources for the study of scientific impact. The social media tools improve the research process: recording a series online scholarly behaviors. This paper aims to research the huge amount of paper reviews which have generated in the social media platforms to explore the implicit information about research papers. We implemented and shown the result of text mining on review texts using R language. And we found that Zika virus was the research hotspot and association research methods were widely used in 2016. We also mined the news review about one paper and derived the public opinion.

The purpose of this paper is to carry out an empirical analysis of the link that exists between microfinance and poverty alleviation. The analysis is driven by literature searches on empirical works done by different researchers in different contexts. Qualitative research methodology was adopted, following a desktop approach. An empirical literature review took a centre stage in this investigation. An analysis of empirical works shows that microfinance enhances poverty alleviation despite the challenges such as the Indian Andhra Pradesh crisis. The paper is limited to a review of empirical sources of literature. A field survey, supported by an econometric analysis would have helped to generate robust results. This paper attempts to bring together the empirical works that were done in different contexts to shed light on the important relationship between microfinance and poverty. Many research works on microfinance depend upon personal anecdotes, thus this present paper attempts to compile the scattered empirical findings on microfinance and poverty alleviation.

Recent years have seen an intensified discussion in many OECD countries about the role and mission of public research in the innovation system. This discussion takes place in quite specific national contexts, but should benefit from international experience. However, whereas voluminous literatures address the changing governance methods, organizational forms and missions of universities, much less attention has been devoted to developing a common understanding of the challenges faced by non-university public research institutions. The main goals of this paper is to contribute to clarifying the nature of these challenges, outlines possible policy answers and draws some implications for Korea. In the first section, the paper uses available internationally comparable indicators to review trends in the contribution of government research institutes (GRIs) to R&D and innovation activities. In the second section, the paper identifies the current major changes in the dynamics of innovation that may call for further adjustments in the positioning, organization and steering of public research institutes. Finally, the paper outlines some strategic objectives and orientations for the reform of public research institutes as part of the broader agenda of the Korean innovation strategy.

Objective: The purpose of this paper is to understand the bioethics and the Institutional Review Board (IRB) in the social and behavioral research area through "The Bioethics and Safety Act" and to examine the IRB's present situation, roles, responsibilities, and tasks. Methods: This paper reviewed articles, materials for education, and "The Bioethics and Safety Act" related with the IRB. Results: Bioethics included all the research in the social and behavioral area, and "The Bioethics and Safety Act" has been enforced in every research projects targeting human subjects since February 2, 2013. Accoding to the law, the IRB must review the research proposals for human subjects and was introduced in social and behavioral research as a self-regulating system. At present, all the related institutions including universities must establish and run the IRB. This paper introduced the definition of bioethics, the IRB's roles and review types, the total number of registered IRB, and "The Bioethics and Safety Act". Conclusion/Implications: Both the central government and the local government have to make an effort for the establishment and settlement of the IRB system. This paper also presented some of the problems of the IRB.

This paper shows the case study of risk analysis in an weapon system research and development project. For risk analysis, an advanced stochastic networking technique-VERT (Venture Evaluation and Review Technique) is used. Assumptions for activities of network diagram and conversion methods from PERT ( Program Evaluation and Review Technique) to VERT are discussed. Also, simulation result is presented and discussed.
