  • In this paper we propose high performance system with reduced hardware architecture to convert a color tone. Conversion for the color tone of a input image is necessary to calculate the color temperature of the image Conventional way of calculating the temperature uses algorithm using the method calculating 2-D chromaticity coordinates. But it requires bulky hardware[1]. This paper propose the color temperature calculation method about 1-D chromaticity coordinates that reduces the hardware complexity while keeping the performance of the 2-D color temperature algorithm . The proposed method is verified by fLCD-TV system using the Xilinx Virtex FPGA XCV 2000E-6BG560 that has 1344*806 resolution and requires a high-speed 65MHz operation.

  • In superconductive digital logic circuits, D2 cells can be used to compose a decoder an important component of an Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU). In this wor, we simulated D2 cell by using WRspice. D2 cell has one input, one switch input, and two outputs (output1 and output2). D2 cell functions in such way that output1 follows the input and output2 is the complement of the input data, when the switch input is "0, ". However, when there is a switch input "1, " the opposite output signals are generated. In this paper, we optimized a D2 cell by using WRspice, and obtained the minimum margin of 26%. Our optimized D2 cell will play a key role in the ALU fabrication.the ALU fabrication.

This system provides 2D/3D screen navigation that supports variety of operational visual effects and displays the location that the user is retrieving. Also it presents picture information of buildings with higher resolution and URL, name of store, phone number, other related information. Effectiveness of this system is as follows: first, development and distribution of a new technology of 2D/3D spatial database that changes the previous 2D/3D based system concept to the 2D/3D based one. Second, increase of developmental productivity by utilizing the integrated 2D/3D spatial database for developing various interfaces. Finally, it provides security of the preemptive technological position with world class domestic 2D/3D spatial database technologies.

  • D2D (Device-to-Device) communication underlaying LTE-advanced networks is a promising technology to improve the system capacity and spectral efficiency. By sharing the same radio resources with cellular user equipments, D2D communications can significantly enhance the overall spectral efficiency. However, it may cause interference between D2D link and cellular link. Careful resource allocation and interference coordination between cellular and D2D communications are very important and need to be properly handled. This paper proposes a radio resource allocation scheme based on FFFR (Flexible Fractional Frequency Reuse) for D2D communication underlaying cellular networks. The base station selects randomly resource blocks assigned to cellular users, and reuses them for a D2D pair. Through simulations, we have confirmed that the proposed scheme improves the system throughput, reduces the computational complexity, and mitigates the interference of D2D link and cellular link.

  • Recently, mobile internet traffic has rapidly increased as the huge increase of the smart phone and mobile devices. D2D get attention, because D2D is known that it reduce the traffic load of the base station and also improves the reliability of the network performance. However, D2D has a problem that the efficiency decreases as interference is increased. In this paper, we propose a resource allocation scheme to use the resources efficiently when the D2D link share the cellular resources in the cellular network based the uplink. D2D communication utilizes the location information for allocating resources when the eNB know the location of all devices. The proposed scheme select some cellular user using location informations in order to ensure performance of the D2D communication. and D2D link choose cellular user that performs resource allocation using only selected cellular user. Simulation results show optimal value of resource selection in order to ensure most performance of the D2D communication.

  • This paper analyzes interactive activities of foreign R&D centers operating in Korea. Interactive activities refer to collaborative R&D activities, R&D outsourcing, and formation of communities between foreign R&D centers and Korean firms and institutions. Active interactions between foreign R&D centers and their Korean partners (Korean firms and universities, research institutes etc.) are essential in promoting spillover effects from foreign R&D centers. Using the survey of 76 foreign R&D centers operating in Korea, this paper found the intensity of interplay between foreign R&D centers and the Korean firms and institutions was not so high. And the partners of foreign R&D centers with the mission of finding new technologies in Korea are mainly customers rather than universities and research institutes. This result is markedly different from previous studies focused on the cases of western countries, where the partners of foreign R&D centers that have the mission of finding new technologies were mainly local universities and research institutes.

  • Since a display device such as TV or digital signage is getting larger, the types of media is getting changed into wider view one such as UHD, panoramic and jigsaw-like media. Especially, panoramic and jigsaw-like media is realized by stitching video clips, which are captured by different camera or devices. However, a stitching process takes long time, and has difficulties in applying for a real-time process. Thus, this paper suggests to find out 2D Adjacency Matrix, which tells spatial relationships among those video clips in order to decrease a stitching processing time. Using the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), we convert the each frame of video source from the spatial domain (2D) into frequency domain. Based on the aforementioned features, 2D Adjacency Matrix of images could be found that we can efficiently make the spatial map of the images by using DCT. This paper proposes a new method of generating 2D adjacency matrix by using DCT for producing a panoramic and jigsaw-like media through various individual video clips.

  • 3D point cloud semantic segmentation is a computer vision task that involves dividing the point cloud into different objects and regions by predicting the class label of each point. Existing 3D semantic segmentation models have some limitations in performing sufficient fusion of multi-modal features while ensuring both characteristics of 2D visual features extracted from RGB images and 3D geometric features extracted from point cloud. Therefore, in this paper, we propose MMCA-Net, a novel 3D semantic segmentation model using 2D-3D multi-modal features. The proposed model effectively fuses two heterogeneous 2D visual features and 3D geometric features by using an intermediate fusion strategy and a multi-modal cross attention-based fusion operation. Also, the proposed model extracts context-rich 3D geometric features from input point cloud consisting of irregularly distributed points by adopting PTv2 as 3D geometric encoder. In this paper, we conducted both quantitative and qualitative experiments with the benchmark dataset, ScanNetv2 in order to analyze the performance of the proposed model. In terms of the metric mIoU, the proposed model showed a 9.2% performance improvement over the PTv2 model using only 3D geometric features, and a 12.12% performance improvement over the MVPNet model using 2D-3D multi-modal features. As a result, we proved the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed model.

  • This paper suggests to apply mirror-reflected method based 2D emotion recognition database to 3D application. Also, it makes facial expression of fuzzy modeling using probability of emotion. Suggested facial expression function applies fuzzy theory to 3 basic movement for facial expressions. This method applies 3D application to feature vector for emotion recognition from 2D application using mirror-reflected multi-image. Thus, we can have model based on fuzzy nonlinear facial expression of a 2D model for a real model. We use average values about probability of 6 basic expressions such as happy, sad, disgust, angry, surprise and fear. Furthermore, dynimic facial expressions are made via fuzzy modelling. This paper compares and analyzes feature vectors of real model with 3D human-like avatar.
