  • The taxonomic study of the genus Myzia Mulsant, 1846 in Korea is presented. The genus Myzia contains five species worldwide and two species currently recognized in Palaearctic region. Until now, only M. oblongoguttata (Linnaeus, 1758) has been known in Korea, but we found M. gebleri (Crotch, 1874) for the first time in Korea. We redescribed these two Korean species of the genus Myzia with photographs of the habitus and detailed illustrations of their aedeagus and other appendages. A taxonomic key to the species of Korean Myzia beetles are also provided.

  • We reviewed five South Korean species belonging to the genera Clistopyga Gravenhorst, 1829 and Endromopoda $Hell{\acute{e}}n$, 1939, which are recorded for the first time from South Korea: Clistopyga incitator (Fabricius, 1793), Clistopyga sziladyi Kiss, 1959, Endromopoda arundinator (Fabricius, 1804), Endromopoda detrita (Holmgren, 1860), and Endromopoda phragmitidis (Perkins, 1957). The genus Clistopyga can be distinguished from the congeneric species by distinctly upcurved ovipositor, with enlarged hypopygium, and Endromopoda by apical perpendicular teeth of ovipositor on apex. Diagnoses, illustrations and keys to South Korean species of the genera Clistopyga and Endromopoda are provided.

  • The family Tetratomidae Billberg occurs in most parts of the world but many species are discovered from Australia and New Zealand. The family contains 13 genera and over 150 described species in five subfamilies, Eustrophinae, Hallomeninae, Penthinae, Piseninae and Tetratominae. Among the eustrophine genera, a genus Eustrophus Illiger includes four species in the Holartic region including three Palaearctic species, E. dermestoides (Fabricius), E. niponicus Lewis and E. yunnanensis Nikitsky. In this study, the genus Eustrophus and its a single species, E. niponicus, are newly discovered from the Korean fauna. A diagnosis, habitus photographs and illustrations of diagnostic characters including aedeagus of the species are provided.

  • The suborder Symphyta comprises more than 8,000 described species worldwide, of which about 4,400 extant species are recorded from the Eastern Palaearctic. Symphyta can be easily distinguished from the suborder Apocrita by the abdomen, which is broadly joined to the thorax. The larvae of most species feed on herbaceous to woody. A list of the 418 described species of Symphyta in Korea is presented. The list is in taxonomic sequence by superfamily, family, subfamily and genus and includes 116 genera in 22 subfamilies, 12 families, and seven superfamilies. We provide the page reference of the original description of every species and genus listed, Korean name, host records, and all Korean records. The list also provides the distribution of all the species by country.
