A Study on the Scope for Special Interest Tourism Based Services in India

  • Today, travelers are provided large amount information which includes Web sites and tourist magazines about introduction of tourist spot. Many approaches have been proposed to analyze the large amount of available information with the aim of discovering the most popular Points of Tourist Interest and routes. However, it is not easy for users to process the information in a short time. Therefore travelers prefer to receive pertinent information easier and have that information presented in a clear and concise manner. Whether you are looking for banks by company, foreign exchange services, free wireless hotspots, touristic attractions, campsites, supermarkets, restaurants, cinemas, The aim of POI Tourism Services is to enable tourists to find spots that only the locals know, giving the tourists opportunity to the tourists to explore new areas of the place like never before. This paper proposes find the scope for a personalized service for tourist "Special Interest Tourism" recommendation for tourists who travel within India & for the benefit of Foreign Nationals who visit the country. The major focus of the study is to understand the demand for such a service being integrated into the conventional tour package. The major findings made during the course of the show that the market for "Special Interest Tourism" based services stands at approximately 63%. Travel today is mainly for the people from the middle income group having a fixed budget while traveling and would like economic travel solutions that fit their budget. This accounts for a major part of the market for the service. Most tourist prefer to go on week end getaways or trips that last more than a week, this means that a specialized trip plan based on the travelers interests is feasible with these type of travelers. Maximum demand for "Special Interest Tourism" based services would be during the festive seasons.

소셜 미디어 빅데이터를 활용한 호캉스(hocance) 현상 분석 (An Analysis of the Hocance Phenomenon using Social Media Big Data)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to examine the recent popular consumption trend, the hocance phenomenon, using social media big data. The study intended to present practical directions and marketing measures for the recovery and growth of the hotel industry after COVID-19 pandemic. Design/methodology/approach - Big data analysis has been used in various fields, and in this study, it was used to understand the hocance phenomenon. For three years from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020, we collected text data including the keyword 'hocance' from the blog and cafe of NAVER and Daum. TEXTOM and UCINET 6 were used to collect and analyze the data. Findings - According to the results of analysis, the words such as 'hocance', 'hotel', 'Seoul', 'travel', 'swimming pool', 'Incheon', 'breakfast', 'child' and 'friend' were identified with high frequency. The results of CONCOR analysis showed similar results in all three years. It has been confirmed that 'swimming pool', 'breakfast', 'child' and 'friend' are important when deciding on the hocance package. Research implications or Originality - The study was differentiated in that it used social media big data instead of traditional research methods. Furthermore, it reflected social phenomena as a consumption trend so there was practical value in establishing marketing strategies for the tourism and hotel industry.

관광 공간에서 나타나는 규율 권력에 관한 소고 - 베트남 패키지 관광을 중심으로 - (Implications of Disciplinary Power in Tourism Destination)

  • 본 연구는 베트남 관광에서 나타난 규율 권력의 분석을 통해 관광이 개인의 단편적 행위의 산물이 아니라 사회적 산물이자 반영임을 증명하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 베트남 관광에서의 주체는 여행사와 가이드였고, 관광객은 대상으로 시작하여 권력을 내면화한 주체로 거듭났다. 가이드는 감시, 제재, 분할과 같은 여러 가지 권력 기술을 활용함으로써 관광객을 감시, 통제했고 관광객은 이를 내면화하여 자율적 주체, 다시 말해 현대적 관광자로 행동했다. 베트남 관광 공간에서의 권력은 관광 요소 간의 관계로 존재했고, 특정 관광 공간에 국한하여 나타나지 않고 모든 관광 공간에서 나타났다. 또한 권력은 억압적이라기보다는 생산적으로 작용했다.

  • 본 연구는 농촌 체험마을 소셜 미디어 이용경험이 있는 이용자를 중심으로 소셜 미디어의 이용 동기가 만족, 신뢰, 지속적 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 실시되었다. 연구분석을 위해 농촌체험마을의 소셜 미디어 이용경험이 있는 310명의 표본자료가 활용되었으며, 연구분석을 위해 PASW18, Lisrel 8.54와 같은 통계분석 도구가 활용되었다. 분석결과 첫째, 소셜 미디어의 이용 동기가 만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 만족이 신뢰와 지속적 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 신뢰가 지속적 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 소셜 미디어의 지속적 이용의도에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 결정요인들을 분석하여 농촌체험 이용고객의 재방문을 유도할 수 있는 전략적 시사점을 제시하였다.

중국인의 방한관광에 대한 한류의 영향 (An Influence of the Korean Wave on Chinese Tourism to South Korea)

  • 이 연구는 일반 중국 단체관광객의 관광행태 분석에 기반하여 중국인의 방한관광에 대한 한류의 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 중국은 폐쇄 정책으로 인하여 오랫동안 외부 정보에 대한 통제를 가하고 중국 공민의 지리적 이동에 대한 욕구를 억눌러 왔다. 그러나 개혁개방 이후, 특히 1990년대 중반 이후 출국관광에 대한 정책적 통제가 완화됨에 따라 해외지역으로의 관광 욕구가 폭발하면서 중국인들의 출국관광 수요가 증대되고 있다. 중국의 이러한 사회경제적 변화 속에서 최근에 나타난 한류, 특히 드라마/영화는 허구와 현실을 넘나들며 우리나라의 국가경관을 생생하게 그리고 있다. 이러한 특성으로 인해 한류는 외부세계와 오랫동안 단절되었던 중국인들의 우리나라에 대한 지리적 상상력을 확대 또는 재구성하는 계기를 제공하였다. 즉, 이전에는 중국인들이 주로 지정학적 또는 경제적 요인들로 우리나라의 국가경관을 상상하였으나, 한류에 의해 우리나라 사람들의 생활양식을 이루는 문화적인 요인들로 지리적 상상력을 재구성하거나 확대하게 되었다. 한류에 의해 새로이 구성된 지리적 상상력은 중국인들의 방한관광 선택에 중요한 흡인 요인 중의 하나로 작용하며, 방한관광의 동기 형성과 친척/친구에게 추천할 만한 주요 매력물 선택에 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 방한관광 선택에 미친 한류의 영향이 클수록 방한 동기와 추천 매력물이 문화적 요인인 경우가 더 높게 나타났다. 그리고 이번 방한관광 선택에서 한류의 영향을 많이 받을수록 만족도와 향후 재방문 의향이 상대적으로 더 높게 나타나는 경향을 보였다. 이는 중국관광객들이 일반 패키지 단체관광 형식으로 방한했음에도, 한류의 영향을 더 많이 받을수록 관광목적지로서 우리나라에 대해 더 큰 애착을 가지게 됨을 의미한다. 이를 통해 한류가 중국인 방한관광 수요의 양적인 증가뿐만 아니라 질적인 변화, 즉 태도의 변화에도 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있다.있는 가능성이 높은 것으로 해석된다. 지반운동의 공간적인 차별성은 GPS 자료를 통한 지각의 이동방향에 의해서도 간접적으로 증명될 수 있었다. 이러한 해석은 기존에 알려져 왔던 한반도의 지진발생 메카니즘과는 차이를 보이는 것으로, 한반도의 지형발달과 지진예측에 새로운 시각을 제시할 것으로 기대된다.\pm}41000\;Bq/g,\;670\;Bq/g{\pm}460\;Bq/g$이었으며 22개 저방사능폐수지에서는 각각 $4.2\;Bq/g{\pm}4.3\;Bq/g,\;6.0\;Bq/g{\pm}5.3\;Bq/g$이 검출되었다. 고방사능 폐수지의 평균 $^{14}C/^3H$비는 28로 저방사능 폐수지의 0.70에 비해 높게 나타났으며, $^{14}C$$^3H$의 농도는 서로 비례하는 경향을 보였다.보완대책이 필요하다는 사실을 이 성적을 통하여 비로소 확인할 수 있었다.가정교과교육학 문항내용의 포괄성을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 가정과교육과정 문항내용은 제7차 교육과정 문서상에 표면적으로 제시된 내용에 한정되어 있어 구체적인 개선방안으로 교육과정의 철학적 이론적 배경, 다양한 교육과정 원리를 활용하는 문항내용 등과 같이 좀 더 이론적이고 원론적인 내용으로의 확대를 제안하였다. 가정과교수학습법 문항내용은 특정 교수학습모형에 관련된 지식을 묻는 내용으로 주로 출제되었다. 이에 구체적인 개선방안으로 특정 교수학습모형의 이론적 토대가 되고 전체적인 교수설계를 하기 위한 기본 바탕이 될 수 있는 교수학습이론에 관한 내용, 또한 현재가정과교육에 있어서 유용한 교수학습법이라고 입증되고 있는 실천적 추론 가정과 수업에 관한 내용으로의 확대를 제안하였다. 가정과교육평가 문항의 출제는 대다수의 문항이 수행평가에 관한 문항내용으로 출제되었다. 이에 구체적인 개선방안으로 문항의 변별도 여부의

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중국 소비자를 대상으로 한국 라면 포장 디자인 속성과 라면 이미지, 그리고 라면 선택간의 관계를 연구하는데 있다. 한국 표본 라면으로 신라면, 짜파게티, 열무비빔면, 사리곰탕면, 참깨라면 등을 선택하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중국 소비자들은 선호하는 라면으로 신라면을 가장 많이 선택하였고, 그 다음으로 열무비빔면, 짜파게티, 사리곰탕면, 참깨라면의 순으로 선택하였는데 라면 이미지에서는 신라면, 짜파게티, 열무비빔면, 참깨라면, 사리곰탕면의 순으로 높게 나왔다. 라면 포장 디자인 속성별로 대중성과 품질안정성에서 대부분 유의적인 차이가 있었으나 매력성과 건강성에서는 대부분 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 셋째, 신라면은 대중성, 품질 안정성이, 짜파게티에서는 품질 안정성이, 사리곰탕면에서는 품질 안정성과 건강성이 유의적인 정(+)의 영향력이 있었으나 사리곰탕에서는 매력성이 유의적인 부(-)의 영향력이 있었다.

The current state and prospects of travel business development under the COVID-19 pandemic

  • The relevance of this scientific research is determined by the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the current trends and dynamics of world tourism development. This article aims to identify patterns of development of the modern tourist market, analysis of problems and prospects of development in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and methods. General scientific methods and methods of research are used in the work: analysis, synthesis, comparison, analysis of statistical data. The analysis of the viewpoints of foreign and domestic authors on the research of the international tourist market allowed us to substantiate the actual directions of tourism development due to the influence of negative factors connected with the spread of a new coronavirus infection COVID-19. Economic-statistical, abstract-logical, and economic-mathematical methods of research were used during the process of study and data processing. Results. The analysis of the current state of the tourist market by world regions was carried out. It was found that tourism is one of the most affected sectors from COVID-19, as, by the end of 2020, the total number of tourist arrivals in the world decreased by 74% compared to the same period in 2019. The consequence of this decline was a loss of total global tourism revenues by the end of 2020, which equaled $1.3 trillion. 27% of all destinations are completely closed to international tourism. At the end of 2020, the economy of international tourism has shrunk by about 80%. In 2020 the world traveled 98 million fewer people (-83%) relative to the same period last year. Tourism was hit hardest by the pandemic in the Asia-Pacific region, where travel restrictions are as strict as possible. International arrivals in this region fell by 84% (300 million). The Middle East and Africa recorded declines of 75 and 70 percent. Despite a small and short-lived recovery in the summer of 2020, Europe lost 71% of the tourist flow, with the European continent recording the largest drop in absolute terms compared with 2019, 500 million. In North and South America, foreign arrivals declined. It is revealed that a significant decrease in tourist flows leads to a massive loss of jobs, a sharp decline in foreign exchange earnings and taxes, which limits the ability of states to support the tourism industry. Three possible scenarios of exit of the tourist industry from the crisis, reflecting the most probable changes of monthly tourist flows, are considered. The characteristics of respondents from Ukraine, Germany, and the USA and their attitude to travel depending on gender, age, education level, professional status, and monthly income are presented. About 57% of respondents from Ukraine, Poland, and the United States were planning a tourist trip in 2021. Note that people with higher or secondary education were more willing to plan such a trip. The results of the empirical study confirm that interest in domestic tourism has increased significantly in 2021. The regression model of dependence of the number of domestic tourist trips on the example of Ukraine with time tendency (t) and seasonal variations (Turˆt = 7288,498 - 20,58t - 410,88∑5) it forecast for 2020, which allows stabilizing the process of tourist trips after the pandemic to use this model to forecast for any country. Discussion. We should emphasize the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that many experts and scientists believe in the long-term recovery of the tourism industry. In our opinion, the governments of the countries need to refocus on domestic tourism and deal with infrastructure development, search for new niches, formats, formation of new package deals in new - domestic - segment (new products' development (tourist routes, exhibitions, sightseeing programs, special rehabilitation programs after COVID) -19 in sanatoriums, etc.); creation of individual offers for different target audiences). Conclusions. Thus, the identified trends are associated with a decrease in the number of tourist flows, the negative impact of the pandemic on employment and income from tourism activities. International tourism needs two to four years before it returns to the level of 2019.

제주 향토음식을 활용한 음식관광상품 개발 및 CVM을 적용한 경제적 가치 평가 (Development of Jeju Local Food Tour Package and Economic Value Estimation based on Contingent Valuation Method)

  • Local food reflects the identity and image of a specific region. It is also a core element for determining tourists' experience of a region. The purpose of the present study was to develop a Jeju food tour package using local foods and estimate the economic value of the suggested tour package using Contingent Valuation Method (CVM). Five food tour packages were developed by researchers. In order to modify and measure the value of each package, an expert panel survey was conducted, and 'package 5' was selected as a food tour scenario for the tourist survey. A survey was conducted on 295 domestic tourists who visited Jeju within the past 10 years in order to evaluate the economic value and feasibility of the Jeju food tour package. A total fo 72.9% of respondents answered that they were willing to pay for the Jeju local food tour, and the willingness to pay (WTP) range was between ₩45,000 and ₩105,000. The primary factors correlated with WTP was food expenses, followed by leisure experience expenses, interest in local foods, education level, visit frequency and age. The WTP of the Jeju local food tour was calculated with the significantly affected factors using stepwise regression model. The result of the present study reveal that tourists' WTP increased with higher food expenses, education level, and age group. The average value of food expenses, education level, and age were substituted into the formula derived from the regression analysis, yielding 58,385.752 KRW as the WTP. The expected economic value created by exploiting the Jeju local food tour was shown to be 700 billion KRW per year, calculated by multiplying WTP of the food tour packages by the number of tourists. This study examined the feasibility and plan of the food tour package to increase the economic value of Jeju local food. In the case of the culinary tour program based on Jeju local food launching, the estimated economic effect was great. Therefore, in-depth research to merchandise the Jeju local food tour program is needed.

쇼핑정보원 활용에 따른 해외여행자 시장세분화 및 세분시장 특성 연구 (Tourism Market Segmentation Based on Shopping Information Sources)

  • This study confirmed the types of shopping information sources during travel abroad, and developed a profile of tourists in terms of demographics, travel, and shopping behavior. Shopping information sources and characteristics of shopping products were identified first. Thereafter, travelers were segmented by their information-seeking behavior. An online survey method was used to get data from Korean vacationers in their 20s-50s, while factor analysis, cluster analysis, ${\chi}^2$ test and ANOVA were applied to analyze data. The results were as follows. First, the shopping information sources of overseas tourists were composed of four factors including sources from travel agents/media, information from travel books and local sources, and word-of-mouth sources. Also, four factors in product types and four product attributes were identified. Second, tourists were clustered into two groups, active and passive shopping information seekers, based on shopping source behavior. Third, two groups differed in terms of demographics, showing an older age and higher income for active shopping source seekers. Active shopping information users tended to join package trips with family members, and they were more satisfied with the trip. With regard to shopping, active shopping source seekers spent more money for shopping and preferred all kinds of shopping goods with an emphasis on travel shopping. In conclusion, shopping information sources seemed to be a meaningful tool for segmenting tourists. Rich, older, family tourists would be an major target market for local retailers.

항공사의 유·무형, 인적서비스 품질요인이 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 : 항공사 브랜드 및 브랜드태도의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Influence of Service Quality Factors on Reuse Intention)

  • Purpose - This study's aims are to examine the effects of airline service quality on brand image, brand attitude and reuse intention and the mediating roles of brand image and brand attitude in the relationship between airline service quality and reuse intention. Research design, data and methodology - A total of 500 questionnaire copies were distributed and 474 were used for the empirical study after excluding some empirical inappropriate or unusable ones. To analyze the collected data, the SPSS/WIN 22.0 statistical package was used. Results - The result of analysis showed that all the intangible, tangible and human elements of the airline service quality positively influenced on brand image and brand attitude and did not directly influence on reuse intention. However, brand image and brand attitude played mediating roles in the relationship between all the service quality elements and reuse intention. Conclusions - This means that airlines need to develop service quality, which is differentiated and provides special feelings for customers and work out improvement strategies for positive brand images and attitudes, since customers choose and reuse airlines, based on brand images and attitudes, which are perceived and formed through the experience of airline service quality and word of mouth.
