Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of resilience and work engagement on performance of managers in the automotive sector in Morocco. It analyses the mediating effect of work engagement between resilience and manager performance. Though earlier studies have focused on the effect of resilience on employee performance and work engagement. none has looked at the mediating role of work engagement in this context. Thus, the present paper attempts to fill this literature gap. Research design, data and methodology: A confirmatory survey was conducted among a sample of 196 employees of automobile companies in Tangier-Morocco. A structural equation analysis using SmartPLS was performed while Preacher and Hayes (2008) method was used to analyze the mediation effect. Results: a) Manager resilience has a positive influence on work engagement, which further influences their performance; b) there is a statistically insignificant relationship between resilience and manager performance; c) Structural equation modelling analysis shows that work engagement partially mediates the relationship between resilience and manager performance. Conclusion: Theoretical contributions, practical implications, and future research directions are discussed.

빅데이터로 인해 통계분석에 대한 수용이 증대되면서 구조방정식모형과 같은 진보된 2세대 분석방법의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 다양한 연구 분야에서 이용되는 구조방정식모형 중 부분최소제곱모형(PLS-SEM)을 적용하는데 있어 오픈 소프트웨어인 R의 활용방법에 대해서 제안하고자 한다. R은 GNU 프로젝트의 일부로서 무료이고, 빅데이터를 포함한 통계분석에 강력하면서도 유용한 도구이다. 이에 부분최소제곱모형의 대표적인 통계패키지인 SmartPLS와 본 연구가 제안하는 R을 활용하여 측정모형의 집중타당성, 판별타당성, 내적일관성을 분석하고, 구조 모형의 경로계수 및 조절효과를 분석하여 결과를 각각 비교 분석하였다. 분석결과 R은 측정모형과 구조모형에서 모두 SmartPLS와 동일한 결과를 나타내었고, 향후 상용 통계패키지를 대체할 수 있는 강력한 도구임을 확인하였다.

구조방정식 모델링은 경로분석 및 확인적 요인분석을 동시에 수행해 주는 통계적 절차를 따르고 있다. 오늘날이 통계적 절차는 사회과학 분야의 연구자에게 필수적인 도구이다. 구조방정식 모델링 분석을 해주는 대표적인 도구로는 AMOS, LISREL 그리고 PLS가 있다. AMOS는 초보자가 사용할 수 있도록 편리한 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스를 제공해 주고 있다. PLS는 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스뿐만 아니라 정규분포에 대한 제약조건도 없다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한 사회과학 분야에서 가장 많이 사용하는 3가지 도구 (applications)를 비교분석 하였다. 구조방정식 모델링 기반 확인적 요인 분석은 IBM AMOS Ver 23, LISREL 8.70 및 SmartPLS 2.0을 사용하였다. 구조방정식 모델링 비교 분석 결과는 LISREL이 다른 분석 도구보다 종속 변수의 설명력이 가장 높음을 확인할 수 있었다. 분석 결과에 의해 제시된 경로계수 값 및 T 값은 3가지 분석 도구 모두 유사한 결과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 이론적 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

The traffic culture index is used as a major index in evaluating the traffic safety services of local governments and also serve as important data for the planning and implementation of traffic safety services. However, as the traffic culture index gradually became a standard for comparison among local governments, in part, certain cases arose which questioned the grounds for selecting variables for the index and the validity of the index in terms of its influential relationship between evaluation items. This study analyzed the index's influential relationship by utilizing a PLS structural equation model based on the evaluation results of the 2011 traffic culture index. A variable-linking model was created which recognized the relativity taking into account of the indirect effects between latent variables and this model was proven to be a model suitable in explaining the traffic culture index with a 97.8% explanation power. It was found that traffic safety(0.530), driving behavior(0.527), pedestrian behavior(0.187) and vulnerable road users(0.147), in such order, had an effect on the traffic culture index. It was also found that human casualties due to traffic accidents under "traffic safety" and traffic light compliance rate under "driving behavior" had an important effect. The study showed that motor vehicle share in illegal parking in school zones did not have a valid explanation power regarding "vulnerable road users".

In this paper, we propose two methods for setting initial weights in the PLS algorithm which is employed to measure the customer satisfaction in SEM. Using data from the survey of the students conducted with the questionnaire of the ACSI survey, we evaluate the education service in terms of the satisfaction level of the students and compare our proposed methods with the previous method.

본 연구는 투자자의 부동산 투자의사결정에 있어 투자선호특성이 투자만족도를 경유하여 재투자의사에 미치는 영향구조를 분석하기 위해 투자선호특성을 규명하고, PLS구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 우선 투자행동요인으로 구분된 수익성, 안전성, 위험성, 규제완화 중 수익성과 안정성 부문이 투자만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 수익성 부문이 투자만족도에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 도출되었다. 다음으로 부동산특성요인으로 구분된 입지특성, 시설특성 중 입지특성이 투자만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 부동산 투자의 투자자 선호특성에 대한 투자만족도는 재투자의사에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

This study aims to identify the influencing factors of intention to use cloud services using the SEM-ANN two-step approach. In previous studies of SEM-ANN, SEM presented R² and ANN presented MSE(mean squared error), so analysis performance could not be compared. In this study, R² and MSE were calculated and presented by SEM and ANN, respectively. Then, analysis performance was compared and feature importances were compared by sensitivity analysis. As a result, the ANN default model improved R² by 2.87 compared to the PLS model, showing a small Cohen's effect size. The ANN optimization model improved R² by 7.86 compared to the PLS model, showing a medium Cohen effect size. In normalized feature importances, the order of importances was the same for PLS and ANN. The contribution of this study, which links structural equation modeling to artificial intelligence, is that it verified the effect of improving the explanatory power of the research model while maintaining the order of importance of independent variables.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationships of perceived value, price sensitivity, and satisfaction between brand image and purchase intention of consumers who have experience of overseas direct purchase. This study collected questionnaires used to analyze these structural relationships. Using the R's plspm package, we analyzed the PLS (partial least squares) structural equation model. In order to examine the relationship between perceived value and price sensitivity, the research model was modified and analyzed. As a result, not only the adoption of the research hypothesis, but also the goodness of fit was higher than before the research model modifying, and the relationship between perceived value and price sensitivity was further verified. The modified research model has higher academic value, so it is necessary to select it as the final proposal model.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 대인관계문제와 우울관계에서 온라인 및 오프라인 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 파악하기 위하여 구조모형 분석을 이용한 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구는 간호대학생 264명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0과 Smart PLS 3.0을 활용하여 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, PLS-SEM(Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model)을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 대인관계문제와 온라인 사회적 지지가 우울 증가에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며 오프라인 사회적 지지가 우울감소에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 대인관계문제와 우울과의 관계에서 오프라인 사회적 지지만이 조절효과에 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 간호대학생의 대인관계문제로 인한 우울 감소를 위해 오프라인 사회적 지지가 적극적으로 제공되어야 하며, 온라인 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 확인하기 위해 SNS를 통한 인간관계유형 등 관련 변수를 포함함 반복 연구를 제안한다.

본 연구는 철도역세권을 단순한 개발과 계획적 측면에서만 접근하지 않고, 실제 개발에 따른 도입 기능 및 프로그램이 지역의 발전과 주민 삶의 질에 어떠한 영향을 미치며, 궁극적으로 철도역세권 복합화를 통한 지역 활성화 방안에 대해 정책적 시사점을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 연구 방법은 역세권 주변 실거주민들을 대상으로 철도역세권 복합개발이 지역 활성화에 미치는 요소와 구조를 PLS 구조방정식을 활용해 실증 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 지역경제 활성화에는 마케팅 지원, 환승시스템 지원, 설계 및 디자인 지원, 복합용도 개발 지원, 법 제도 개선 등의 소프트웨어 요소들과 교통 기능, 정보교류 기능, 상업업무 기능, 주거 기능, 어메니티 기능 등의 하드웨어 요소들이 유효한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 지역주민 삶의 질 측면에서는 하드웨어적 요소가 유효한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었으나 소프트웨어적 요소나 네트워크적 요소는 유효한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 비해 네트워크 요소는 지역경제 활성화와 주민 삶의 질에 크게 기여하지 못하는 것으로 나타나 이에 관한 정책적 보완이 필요하다.
