퍼지제어를 이용한 마이크로 로보트 핑거의 힘제어 (Force Control of Micro Robotic Finger Using Fuzzy Controller)

  • In this paper, a theoretical study is presented for the force control of a miniature robotic manipulator which is driven by a pair of piezo-electric bimorph cells. In the theoretical analysis, one finger is modeled as a flexible cantilevers with a force sensor at the tip and the finger is a solid beam. The robotic finger is used to hold the objects with different stiffness such as an iron block and a living insect and a moving objcet. So it is very important to develop an adequate controller for the holding operation of the finger. The main problems in force controlling are overdamping, overshoot and unknown environment(such as the stiffness of object and unknown plant parameters). So, the main target is propose the new fuzzy compensation for unknown environment and incease the system performance. The fuzzy compensation is implemented by using PI-type fuzzy approach to identified unknown environment. And the result of proposed controller was compared with the conventaional PID and optimal controller.

  • In this paper, we proposed coordinator description and ambiguity on the hybrid controller for position/force control of robot manipulator. When the hybrid controller is desiged based on the PID control conception, the parameter sharing problem must be considered. However, selection problem of coordinate system on n-DOF robot manipulator control is unsolved. Moreover, contact force on object and change of shape make another problems. And it is very difficult to figure out the accurate mathematical model of manipulator on account of ambiguity and nonlinearity of actuator. Therfore, we design a new hybrid controller, FPID(Fuzzy PID). For verifying the validity of the controller, we tried computer simulation of this system. As a result, we can get remarkable improvement of overdamping and overshooting. Also we can solve compicance problem effectively. Furthermore, ambiguity problem is solved by adding control knowledge based compensator. So robust controller can be acheived, too.

  • 호버크래프트는 수륙양용으로 운용이 가능하고, 일반 보트에 비해 연비가 좋은 관계로 보트의 대체 수단 및 레저용으로 이용이 증가하는 추세이다. 아울러 우리나라도 소방서의 인명구조구급용으로의 수요가 점차 많아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 호버크래프트의 전진과 후진을 자유롭게 하기 위해 후진 시 방향을 제어할 수 있는 후진 버켓 컴퓨터 시스템 제어기를 개발하였다. 제안한 시스템제어기의 타당성을 입증하기 위하여 Matlab으로 시뮬레이션 한 다음, 실제 소방서에 납품하는 기종에 장착하여 실증 실험을 수행하 였다. 그 결과 호버크래프트는 추진 공기의 흐름에 대하여 좌 우 및 역 추진이 용이하였으며 인명 구조시나 고속 주행시 등에서도 안정된 운용이 가능함을 확인 하였다.

  • This paper proposes a scheme of auto-tuning fuzzy PI controller and input voltage feed forward to control the output voltage of a three-phase Z-source inverter (ZSI). The proposed scheme adjusts the ts (Kp and Ki) in real time in order to find the most suitable Kp and Ki for PI controller and to simplify the controller design. The proposed scheme is verified the validity by experiment and co-simulation in PSIM and MATLAB/SIMULINK both load step change and input DC voltage variation in Z-source inverter, and has compared with the conventional PID control scheme. The experiment results involve of three-phase output voltage, Z-network capacitor voltage and dc-link peak voltage value. By those analysis and comparison, the availability of the proposed method in output voltage transient response quality improving has been verified. Compared with conventional PID method, the proposed method showed a more effective and robust control performance for coping with the severe disturbance conditions.

  • Since the heat exchange system, such as the boiler of power plant, gas turbine, and radiator require an application of intelligent control system for a high rate heat efficiency and the efficiency of these systems is depended on the control methods it is important for operator to understand control system of these systems and intelligent control technologies. In order to properly apply control equipment and intelligent technology to these process control systems, it is necessary to understand fuzzy, neural network, genetics, and immune as well as the basic aspects and operation principle of the process that relate control, interrelationships of the process characteristics, and the dynamics that are involved. Generally, since PID controllers are used in these systems it is difficult far engineer to understand both the complex dynamics and the intelligent control method. In this paper, we design an effective experimental system for the intelligent control education and analyze its characteristics through experimental system and each intelligent method to study how they can learn intelligent control system by experiments.

  • 본 논문은 여러 설비시스템의 프로세스 제어에 사용되는 PID제어기의 최적 자동동조에 관한 새로운 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 이 방법은 먼저. 제어대상의 계단응답으로부터 모델링 된 1차 지연계를 Pad 근사화하고, Ziefler-Nichols의 한계감도법으로 초기값을 정한 후, 최대 오버슈트, 감쇠비, 상승시간, 정정시간에 대한 퍼지 평가함수를 초대로 하는 최적화되 PID 계수를 목표치로 하여 신경회로망의 역전파 알고리즘을 통해 충분히 반복, 학습시켜 새로운 K, L, T값을 입력하였을 때 근사적으로 최적화된 PID 계수를 구함으로써 퍼지추론에 의한 제어 규칙이 불필요하여 자동 동조시간이 짧다는 장점을 가지고 있다.

  • This paper describes a control method of tank level using Fuzzy Inference Technique. In General, to control tank level without a dangerous overflow and with a high accuracy is difficult because of high order time delay and nonlinearity. None the less, the hardware controller using 80586 Microprocessor with DT-2801 board in this paper was successfully implemented, through a series of simulations and experiments, the superiority of the proposed fuzzy controller ta a conventional PID one was investigated.

자동차 지능주행 제어시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Intelligent Cruise Control System)

  • The problem of designing intelligent cruise control system for a longitudinal motion of an automobile, which is powered by internal combustion engines coupled to an automatic multispeed transmission, is considered. The basic concept is a vehicle-following system which maintains desired spacing between vehicles. This system actuates throttle with the information of the spacing error so as to maintain proper spacing and improve passenger ride comfort. In designing the controller, a modified controller, i.e, PID gain scheduling and fuzzy controller with fuzzy compensator was developed in order to overcome the nonlinearities of the automobile and obtain better performance. The computer simulation results illustrate that the better vehicle responses were obtained with the modified fuzzy controller and, under this controller, the vehicle responses were found to be relatively insensitive to parameter variations.

  • In this paper, we design the high accuracy speed controller of an induction motor by the Fuzzy control algorithms, which recently is invoking the remarkable interest. In order to improve the dynamic resposes such as the steady state error, the reaching tine and the overshoot, the adjustment techniques for optimization of three scale factors are presented. Comparing with conventional PID control, the usefulness of proposed Fuzzy controller will be proved by the simulations.

  • In diesel engine technology the drive to reduce emissions and fuel consumption with improved performance targets has led to many advances. In particular, Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) have played a key role in achieving these aims by permitting flexible control of the engine inlet gas charge. The full potential of these devices are difficult to achieve due to limitations in the classical control methods. However, fuzzy logic is particularly appealing due to its simple heuristic nature. The controller used in this work was designed using the Matlab Fuzzy Logic Toolbox. The overall object is to access the potential for emissions and fuel consumption reductions during transient events whilst maintaining and even improving driveability. Classical control methods (PID), as used on production engines, are examined and contrasted with an coordinated control that utilizes fuzzy logic.
