  • Recently, Construction Business, is changing very quickly, exceedingly needs to slim down the construction expensive by reducing material costs and the term of works. The term of formwork takes 25% of the term of works and costs 15% to 20% of the cost of construction. Hereupon, the purpose of this study is to investigate the Axial Strength of Centrifugall Formed Shell PC Columns that can reduce the term of formwork, the costs of material, the difficulty of throwing away the waste. Shell PC Column is loaded stirrups and manufactured at factory, so it has good points like construction's quality control and part's precision. However, it needs to be tested for checking bonded ability because it is set up at core and coverd with concrete. therefore this study is necessary three type of columns, which are a RC column, different type of two compressive strength core concrete columns and a Shell PC Column. By three columns, this study compare with and analysis three columns's bonded and Compressive Behavior abilities.

Design Concept of Beams Reinforced by Deformed Bars and Non-Prestressed Strands in Combination (비긴장강연선과 철근이 혼용된 보의 설계방안)

  • A new precast concrete (PC) beam and column connection system using non-prestressed wire strands was recently developed. The system is composed of one unit of two-storied PC-column and PC-beams with U-shaped ends. The connection part of the column and beams is reinforced by deformed bars and non-prestressed wire strands in combination for the improvement of workability. Structural performance of this system was verified by several experimental studies. The purpose of this study is developing a design concept of the beam reinforced by deformed bars and non-prestressed wire strands in combination, in terms of the cross-sectional analysis, based on the preceded experiment. A minimum and maximum reinforcement ratio and the calculation formula for the strength of flexural member reinforced by reinforcements having different yield strengths are derived based on KBC2009. Under consideration existing research results for the application of high strength reinforcement bars, the design yield strength of the non-prestressed wire strand is suggested. An example for the cross section design, satisfying the serviceability requirements, demonstrates the applicability of the design concept developed in the study.

  • Most of embedded systems have been developed practically based on the PC platform equipped with Intel x86 CPU since it is able to reduce the total time for product development and improve the reliability of product by making use of a variety of solutions developed for a long time in the PC environment. Also, embedded systems based on PC-platform mainly use a high-capacity hard disk as data storage device for applications intending to store multimedia data. Recently, while the capacity of hard disk is increasing rapidly, the start-up ready time of hard disk is growing longer more than 30 seconds. The lengthened start-up ready time may delay the booting time of embedded system seriously, weighting users down with inconvenience. This paper proposes the refined system architecture and the dynamic IDE device probing method for fast booting of linux kernel in the embedded system based on PC platform with high-capacity hard disks, and the performance of proposed methods is evaluated and presented.

  • The Y2K bug, what is called "millennium bug" or "2000 year bug", take place because the year after 2000 year is not recognize as the year marking method of the computer designed for take up two-digit number. This takes place because the RTC chip architecture of PC can not change the century information to the operating together with date. In this paper, we make an analysis about Y2K hardware bug of RTC in the IBM compatible PC, and make a Y2K compensation board in order to solve Y2K hardware bug. And the test results by various Y2K diagnosis program is bug before put in Y2K compensation board, but is not bug after put in Y2K compensation board. Therefore, we suggest a solution method for Y2K hardware bug of RTC in the IBM compatible PC.

  • 3D medical image reconstruction techniques are useful to figure out complex 3D structures from the set of 2D sections. In the paper, 3D medical image reconstruction system is constructed under PC environment and programmed based on modular programming by using Visual C++ 4.2. The whole procedures are composed of data preparation, gradient estimation, classification, shading, transformation and ray-casting & compositing. Three speed optimization techniques are used for accelerating 3D medical image reconstruction technique. One is to reduce the rays when cast rays to reconstruct 3D medical image, another is to reduce the voxels to be calculated and the other is to apply early ray termination. To implement 3D medical image reconstruction system based on PC, speed optimization techniques are experimented and applied.

Structural and photoelectrical properties of copper phthalocyanine(CuPc) thin film on Si substrate by thermal evaporation (Si 기판위에 열증착법으로 제조한 copper phthalocyanine(CuPc) 박막의 구조 및 광전특성)

  • The crystallized CuPc(copper phthalocyanine) film on a p-type <100> Si substrate is prepared at the substrate temperature of $300^{\circ}C$ by thermal evaporation. X -ray diffraction analysis showed the CuPc film to have a-axis oriented structure. For the measurement of photovoltaic characteristics of the CuPc/Si film and the Si substrate, a transverse current-voltage (I-V) curve is observed. In the dark, the Au/Si junction is shown to be ohmic contact. However, under illumination, a photovoltaic effect is not observed. The I-V curve in the dark indicates that the CuPc film on Si may form an ohmic contact. Since the CuPc film is a p-type semiconductor, the CuPc/p-Si junction has no barrier at the interface. Under illumination, the CuPc/Si junction shows a large photocurrent comparing with that of the wafer. The result indicates that the CuPc layer plays an important role in the photocarrier generation under red illumination (600 nm). The CuPc/Si film shows the photo voltaic characteristics with a short-circuit photocurrent ($J_{sc}$) of $4.29\;mA/cm^{2}$ and an open-circuit voltage ($V_{oc}$) of 12 mA.

  • This paper presents the parallel distributed control scheme for shaping of the bent glass. The designed system consists of a PC, a main controller and 11 servo-controllers, the precision motion controllers. Each elements are connected by using RS-232C and 8-bit data bus. In order to guarantee the stability and the control performance, we use a precision PID motion controller and a H-bridge on the servo-drivers. PC calculates position values of 11 DC motors by using the pre-determined curvature value and offers the user interface environment operator. The main controller provides the control instructions and parameter values to 11 servo-controllers by chip enable signal, simultaneously. Using the received commands and parameter values, the servo-controllers control the positions of the DC motors based on PID control scheme.

  • 컴퓨터의 발달이 가속화됨에 따라 인터넷은 더 이상 PC만의 전유물이 아닌 다양한 종류의 기기들에 접목되어 작업 능률을 높이고 있다. 이에 따른 장비 간 연결성을 높인 무선 네트워킹 분야도 비약적으로 발달되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 주변 기기 중 스마트 프린팅 서비스에 초점을 맞추어 그 활용성을 높이고자한다. 시중의 스마트 프린터는 Wi-Fi direct로 연결된 PC나 노트북 등의 프린트가 손쉽게 가능하다. 하지만 Wi-Fi/Wi-Fi direct 연결이 되는 PC가 아니거나, 프린터와 PC가 유무선 연결이 되어있지 않은 환경에서는 사용하기 어렵다는 큰 한계점을 안고 있다. 이러한 점을 해소하고자 네트워크 내의 인쇄 작업 환경이 아니더라도, PC-스마트폰-프린터와 같은 구조를 통해 스마트폰이 AP 역할을 하여 사용자가 원하는 PC의 파일을 간편하게 프린트 가능한 환경을 조성하고자 한다. 즉, 언제 어디서나 어떠한 프린터와도 간접 1:1:1 연결을 통한 즉시 인쇄 서비스 구축을 목적으로 한다.

유리 기판 위에 형성된 랜덤한 분포를 가지는 나노 구조물과 OLED 소자로의 적용 가능성

  • 특정한 유기 물질에 전류를 인가했을 때 발광을 하는 특성을 이용한 Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED)는 뛰어난 색재현성, 적은 전력소모, 간단한 제조공정, 넓은 시야각 등으로 인해 PDP, LCD, LED에 이은 차세대 디스플레이 소자로 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 하지만 OLED는 각기 다른 굴절률을 가지는 다층구조로 되어있어 실질적으로 소자 밖으로 나오는 빛은 원래 생성된 빛의 20% 정도 밖에 되지 않는다. 이러한 광 손실을 줄이기 위해 Photonic Crystal (PC)이나 마이크로 렌즈 어레이(MLA) 부착 등과 같이 특정한 크기를 갖는 주기적인 나노 구조물을 이용한 광추출 효율 상승 방법은 특정 파장의 빛에서만 효과가 있는 한계가 있었으며 고가의 공정과정을 거쳐야 했으므로 OLED 소자의 가격 향상에 일조하였다. 이의 해결을 위해 본 연구는 유리기판 위에 랜덤한 분포를 가지는 나노 구조물 제작 공정법을 제안한다. 먼저 유리기판 위에 스퍼터로 금속 박막을 입혀 이를 Rapid thermal annealing (RTA) 공정을 이용하여 랜덤한 분포의 Island를 가지는 마스크를 제작하였다. 그 후 플라즈마 식각을 이용하여 유리기판에 나노 구조물을 형성하였고 기판 위에 남아있는 마스크는 Ultrasonic cleaning을 이용하여 제거하였다. 제작된나노구조물은 200~300 nm의 높이와 약 200 nm 폭을 가지고 있다. 제작된 유리기판의 OLED 소자로의 적용가능성을 알아보기 위한 광학특성 조사결과는 300~900 nm의 파장영역에서 맨유리와 거의 비슷한 수직 투과율을 보이면서 최대 50%정도의 Diffusion 비율을 나타내고 있고 임계각(41도) 이상의각도에서 인가된 빛의 투과율에 대해서도 향상된 결과를 보여주고 있다. 제안된 공정의 전체과정 기존의 PC, MLA 등의 공정에 비해 난이도가 쉽고 저가로 진행이 가능하며 추후 OLED 소자에 적용될 시 대량생산에 적합한 후보로 보고 있다.

  • In order to design and test an SoC modem for high speed communication, the platform with the architecture of such high speed communication is needed. That platform is needed for testing large data in speed of 500Mbps. This paper shows that transmission data can be uploaded and downloaded by 250Mbps between a virtual modem target board and a PC through the AHB-PCI IP and the speed of based on DPRAM and PCI.
