불면을 동반한 건선(乾癬) 환자(患者)에게 불면과 건선(乾癬)의 경중이 비례하는 양상을 보인 환자(患者)에게 불면을 치료(治療)하면 건선(乾癬)이 회복될 것으로 판단되었다. 이와 관련하여 심혈부족(心血不足)이 불면의 원인(原因)이라고 판단되는 건선(乾癬) 환자(患者)에게 귀비탕(歸脾湯)을 투약해서 불면과 건선(乾癬)이 동시에 회복되는 결과(結果)를 확인했다. 아직 명확한 건선(乾癬) 치료(治療) 지침이 확립되지 않은 상황에서 건선(乾癬) 자체를 보고 접근해야 하는 경우도 있지만 건선(乾癬)과 동반된 기저 질환이 건선(乾癬)의 경중과 비례한다면 동반된 질환을 치료(治療)해서 건선(乾癬)을 치료(治療)할 수 있다는 가능성을 얻었다. 앞으로 건선(乾癬) 환자(患者)가 다른 기저 질환을 동반하고 이러한 질환의 경중이 건선(乾癬)과 비례한다면 이 질환의 치료(治療)를 시도하는 것이 건선(乾癬)의 회복에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

1. 만성염증 질환인 전신성 건선 환자를 대상으로 437일간 단독 한방 치료를 진행하였다. 2. 침구치료는 환부 및 환부주위와 ST36(족삼리(足三里)), LI11(곡지(曲池)), LI4(합곡(合谷)), LR3(태충(太衝))을 기본 혈위(穴位)로 선정하고, 한약치료는 가미소요산(加味逍遙散), 육미지황탕(六味地黃湯)(환(丸))을 주 처방으로 삼았으며, 환자의 상태에 따라 혈위(穴位)와 약재를 가감(加減)하여 치료를 시행하였다. 3. 그 결과 PASI score가 28.2에서 0으로 감소하였다.

Psoriasis is a common skin disease and the difficulty of its medical management is well known, A report was done on psoriaSis which were treated with aroma therapy to be consulted in Dept. surgery, opthalmology & otolarygology, college of Oriental Medicine, Dongeui University, from Dec. 24, 2003 to Mar. 5, 2004. We gave score and checked involvement in plaque, erythematous popules and invasiveness according to psoriasis area and severity index (PASI). After 75 days of treatment the patient showed that symptoms were disappeared and score of PASI changed from 54.7 to 0. These results that Aroma therapy has good effects on psoriasis in assistant therapy.

Objective : The purpose of this case study is to report the effectiveness of Sojongyuryang-tang gagambang in respect of spleen dampness on 3 psoriasis patients who had unhealthy dietary habit. Methods : PASI(psoriasis area and severity) score was used to check the prognosis of 3 psoriasis patients, who have been treated with Sojongyuryang-tang gagambang and acupuncture. Results : PASI score decreased as a result of Sojongyuryang-tang gagambang treatment in 3 psoriasis patients. Conclusion : Sojongyuryang-tang gagambang can be effective treatment for the unhealthy diet related psoriasis when diagnosed as spleen dampness.

Objects : The purpose of this case study is to report the effect of Su-Gi therapy with Oriental medical treatments on systemic psoriasis. Methods : The subject is a patient with systemic psoriasis. This patient was treated with Oriental medical treatments and Su-Gi therapy. The improvement of the skin condition is observed by Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) score. Results : After the treatment, the symptoms of psoriasis were relieved. PASI score of this patient went down from 39.6 to 12.5. Conclusions : This study showed that Su-Gi therapy added with Oriental medical treatment can be an effective choice for systemic psoriasis.

Objective : This study is designed to investigate the effect of Oriental medical therapy on psoriasis. Methods : We applied Aroma ointment to abnormal skin two times a day. For herbal medicine, Bangpungtongsungsan-gami was given. We checked involvement in scaly skin, erythematosus papules and infiltration according to psoriasis area and severity(PASI) Results : After treatment, the patient showed that itching symptoms was disappeared and score of PASI changed from 27 to 0.8 Conclusions : According to the result, Oriental medical therapy and Aroma therapy has a good effect on psoriasis. But further studies are required to definitely prove the effectiveness of Aroma therapy

Objective The object of this case report is to evaluate the possibility of utilizing Osuyu-tang as a new therapy of psoriasis.Method Diagnosis and Psoriasis' progress was evaluated based on the patient's chart and picture. Diagnosis based on Sanghanlun was organized by graph. The severity of psoriasis' progress was evaluated by Psoriasis Area Severity Index(PASI) and visually analyzed through picture.Results On PASI and picture, we could confirm psoriasis’s area was decreased from hairline to middle of forehead and redness, thickness, scale of psoriasis also got better.Conclusion Osuyu-tang is efficient to patient of this case report as a treatment.

Objective : Psoriasis is a common skin disease and the difficulty of its medical management is well known. This study was designed to investigate the effect of bee venom aqua-acupuncture on psoriasis. Methods : Bee venom aqua-acupuncture was performed two times a week. The following points were selected: LI-11(曲池), LI-15, K-9(築賓) on both sides of body. For herbal medicine, YanHyulJiHwangTang-gami was given. We checked involvement in plaque, erythematous popules and invasiveness according to psoriasis area severity index(PASI). Results :After 9 weeks of treatment, the patient showed that itching symptoms was disappeared and score of PASI changed from 26.2 to 0. Conclusions : These results suggest that bee venom aqua-acupuncture and herbal medicine has good effect on psoriasis. But further studies are required to concretely prove the effectiveness of bee venom aqua-acupuncture for treating psoriasis.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of 2 Kobangs. Daecheongryong-tang and Samhwangsasim-tang on to two psoriasis patients each. The improvement of the skin condition was observed by Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) score. The patient treated with Daecheongryong-tang showed significant improvement after the patient's state of sweating improved and the PASI score of the patient reduced from 17.6 to 1.8 after five months of treatment. The patient treated with Samhwangsasim-tang showed gradual improvement after the patient's defecation was improved and the PASI score of the patient reduced from 27.3 to 3.6 after three months of treatment. According to the results, we obtained clinically positive effects from 2 Kobangs applied on 2 psoriasis cases respectively. Although there were few reports on psoriasis treated with Kobang, we can suggest effective treatment on psoriasis.

Objectives : The aim of this study is to report the effect of Traditional Korean Medicine Including SaengRyoSaMultang-Gamibang and Hwangryunhaedok-tang Herbal-Acupuncture on the treatment of psoriasis. Methods : A patient with psoriasis was treated with SaengRyoSaMultang-Gamibang, Hwangryunhaedok-tang Herbal-Acupuncture, Aroma therapy, Acupuncture. The severity of psoriasis was assessed with Psoriasis Area and Severity Index(PASI). Results : After treatment, the patient showed that itching symptoms was disappeared and score of PASI changed from 23.4 to 2.9. Conclusions : According to the result, These findings suggest that Traditional Korean Medicine can be effective for the treatment of psoriasis.
