A design paradigm using sequential geometric programming is presented to accurately design CMOS op amps with BSIM3. It is based on new adaptive modeling of transistor parameters through the operating point simulation. This has low modeling cost as well as great simplicity and high accuracy. The short-channel dc, high-frequency small-signal, and short-channel noise models are used to characterize the physical behavior of submicron devices. For low-power and low-voltage design, this paradigm is extended to op amps operating in the subthreshold region. Since the biasing and modeling errors are less than 0.25%, the characteristics of the op amps well match simulation results. In addition, small dependency of design results on initial values indicates that a designed op amp may be close to the global optimum. Finally, the design paradigm is illustrated by optimizing CMOS op amps with accurate transfer function.

최근 인문사회과학은 지역적 특수성과 문화적 배경(context)를 무시하고 법측과 체계(system)을 추구하는 자연과학의 개념을 인간사회에 적용하려는 여러 이론들이 인간의 근본적인 문제를 해결하는데 한계가 있음을 지적하고 있다. 이러한 법치주의에 의한 법인간적인 해석보다는 지역적이고 문화적 상황하에서 인간사회의 문제를 이해하려는 경향이 지금까지 행태(behavior)나 사회구조(social structure system)의 이해를 통해 인간사회를 분석하고 있다. 그 방법론으로는 전체의 맥락(context)이나 주변의 연관관계를 통해 의미를 이해하는 책(text)의 해석(interpretation)의 비유를 그 틀(paradigm)로 하고 있다. 이러한 경향은 예술과 미의 문제도 같은 체계(system)속에서 이해하여 현대의 전통, 문화와 대중으로부터 분리된 예술과 미로부터 전통, 문화, 개인과 생활이 공명할 수 있는 본래의 예술과 미를 찾으려 한다. 본 연구는 이러한 사회문화 이론의 개념을 분석하고 그 원리와 이론의 축면에서 경관(landscape)을 해석하고 경관의 의미(미를 포함한)체계(meaning system)을 분석하여 설계언어(design language)를 찾아내며 이를 설계에 응용할 수 있게 하는 기본적 틀(paradigm)을 제시하고자 한다.

This study is on the architectural planning of the secondary school for the future. It focuses on principles and directions of the architectural planning. There are two motivations on the change of education paradigm. The one is that educational philosophy changes and the other is that the knowledge based society has come. Now these affection factors put the education paradigm to be changed. These educational paradigm need to be analyzed from constructivism and educational informationage. Lastly, architectural principles and directions were analogized from educational directions. Architectural principles(6 elements) and directions(15 elements) have been proposed in this study. The conclusion of this study, architectural planning of educational facilities must be with those criteria for more characteristic schools and organic schools.

This paper discusses the next direction for user experience design to keep pace with an ongoing IT paradigm shift, particularly focused on UX standardization activity contributing to reinforcement of brand power and customer loyalty. The paper introduces a model that identifies four levels of UX standardization and a key concept called "sustainable UX ecosystem" as its top level. It argues that in the new IT paradigm the fourth level of UX standardization, the sustainable UX ecosystem, is the next direction user experience must head towards.

Mechanical world view was built by Newton and Decarte approximately 400 years ago. Modern Society has reached at the time for fundamental adjustment and in effect, the paradigm shift is now under way. The new paradigm is the holistic world view that considers the world as the integrated entirety rather than the unity of separated parts. The pluralistic phase which can be considered as general characteristics observed in the art, society and culture in the end of the 20th century is seen as the reflection of this new world view. the complementary relationship between traditionism and modernity and oriental intuitive, holistic approach and western rational analytical approach can be explained when the complementary relationship is recognized with holistic and integrated view. The holistic paradigm and integrated-artistic view are the new aesthetic value which can suggest an alternative for public art of environmental design.

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency has introduced a new terascale clusterd SMP system as a main compute engine of Numerical Simulator III for aerospace science and engineering research purposes. The system is using Fujitsu PRIMEPOWER HPC2500; it has computing capability of 9.3Tflop/s peak performance and 3.6TB of user memory, with about 1,800 scalar processors for computation. In this paper, we first present the performance evaluation results for aerospace CFD applications with hybrid programming paradigm used at JAXA. Next we propose a performance prediction formula for hybrid codes based on a simple extension of AMhhal's law, and discuss about the predicted and measured performances for some typical hybrid CFD codes.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the concept, general framework, planning process of bioregion, and bioregional impacts on landscape planning of future and to discuss the application possibility of landscape planning. Bioregionalism is defined in the course of following: knowing the land, learning the lore, developing the potential, liberating the self. Bioregional paradigm was composed of policy system insisted on diversity and decentralization based on region and community, sustainable economy structure focused on conservation and stability, and society structure through cooperation with common consciousness in the community. A general bioregional framework was organized to be able to achieve a sustainable future with interaction for humans being, other living things, and important earth life system. Bioregional mapping should be able to explain three important aspects about how localised and sustainable cultures would exist: to define the external boundaries, to describe forces of energy, and give a hint for th productive capability. In conclusion, according to the result of reviewing the total environmental planning, bioregional paradigm, examples of projects, technique of bioregional mapping, and actions of Nongovernmental Organizations(NGOs). this study is helpful to show an applicability of bioregional planning theory in Korea

The morphological analyzer is expected to tell attested word forms from imaginable yet unattested ones. An account of the inflectional morphology of English verbs is given in the framework of Word-and-Paradigm morphology, developed mainly by Matthews (1972, 1974, 1991) and further by Aronoff (1994) and Zwicky (1985, 1988), which is free of overrecognition. Thirteen inflectional classes are identified according to the patterns each of them exhibits in filling the slots in the paradigm. Peculiarity in orthography is also considered in assigning each verb lexeme to a class. Modules of a C program which gives associated morphosyntactic properties to all and only attested verb forms are written so that details of this framework can be evaluated explicitly. This program is shown to be superior to existing programs in economy and in the generality it achieves.
