In this raper we researched on the development methods and design of the B-ISDN protocol embedded IP-PBX System with the computers interconnected by the Internet for the previous telephone exchange and communication. We designed the structure of the user terminal and exchange sewer of the IP-PBX System, defined message and data structure for call control, and designed call control state transition and call control message flows for user's communication. And we researched on the message flows for supplementary services and the call control for multiple calls.

The evolution of telecommunications has raised the profile of many segments of the network that were not previously considered important. Until recently, basic telephony existed with the extension of passive cables without any particular user network interface. In the area of data communications, the introduction of flexible packet switching has allowed the network to evolve in a far more efficient manner. To overcome such separated network problems and business needs of both users and network providers, the integrated narrowband ISDN concept is being developed in most countries for implementation in the public switched telephone network (PSTN). The targets of ISDN, in my opinion, can be explained as follows : To the user, ISDN should provide the services at any time, at any place, through any media. To the business customer using PABX or LAN applications, ISDN should introduce customized services rapidly and also, ISDN should be developed by the modular hardware and software design approach in order for new services to be introduced rapidly and effectively. Software can be also developed by non-expert local staff to cater for adopting new user's service requirements immediately. Finally, ISDN will be able to increase business chances and benefit both users and operating companies.

컴퓨터와 통신 기술의 발전으로 인해, 멀티미디어 정보처리와 멀티미디어를 이용, 다양한 응용이 출현하고 있습니다. 그 중에 인터넷의 발전과 함께 많은 성장을 하고 있는 멀티미디어 응용서비스 중의 하나인 인터넷폰은 '95년 2월 이스라엘의 보컬텍사에 의해 첫선을 보인 이후 빠른 속도로 세계에 보급되고 있습니다. 하지만 아직은 일반전화에 비해서 통화 음질이 떨어지고, 인터넷에 가입된 상대방도 동시에 온라인 대기상태에 있어야 하는 등의 문제점들이 지적되고 있지만 새로운 기술도입으로 음질이나 호환성이 많이 개선되어 가고 있습니다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷폰 사설교환 시스템의 효율적인 서비스를 위한 교환시스템의 사용자 인증 서비스 및 호제어 상태전이도에 관한 설계에 대하여 연구하였다.

DECT(Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) is the communication protocol and the pico-cellular network that provides a PABX with mobile services on the local area within its cell radius of about 100 to 200m. Compared with GSM, DECT provides low-cost communication services based on the PSTN and it is an ideal supplementary method for the type of in-building mobile communication. In this paper we presented the implementation methods and techniques of the DECT data link communication layer that provided reliable communication services to the upper network layer by performing the functions of link controls, error controls, sequence controls, and flow controls.
