A Study on the Analysis of the Trends and Expression Techniques of Flower Jewelry (플라워 주얼리의 디자인 트렌드와 표현기법 분석에 관한 연구)

  • This study found Flower Jewelry works in the monthly magazine specializing in flower decoration for nine years from 2011 to 2019. Based on the analysis of the type of expression, method of expression, type and number of plant materials used, and the type and number of non-plant materials used for the flower jewelry found, it was conducted to find out the trend of flower jewelry in Korea. By expression type, a total of 96 works were analyzed as 20.83% for headdresses, 57.29% for necklaces, 5.21% for earrings, 6.25% for lists, and 10.42% for other works(χ2=94.833, p<.001). According to the analysis of the frequency of use of expression techniques, headdresses, necklaces, and lists for each work were produced using five to six different expression techniques and earrings were produced using two to four expression techniques. Material coupling techniques 34.43%, flower and leaf utilization 30.17%, visual techniques 16.63%, collectivization techniques 14.12%, technical highlighting techniques 4.26%, and other 0.39% (χ2=455.222, p<.001). The most frequently used techniques were framing techniques 16.63% and knotting techniques 16.44%. Plant materials used in flower jewelry were found to be 22.61% for Phalaenopsis spp., 13.48% for Gomphrena globosa, 9.57% for Gloriosa rothschildiana, 7.39% for Epidendrum cinnabarinum, 6.96% for Chamelaucium uncinatum and 4.78% for Craspedia globosa (χ2=718.104, p<.001). In the case of branch, the most common was used with 70.00% of the Cornus walteri, and 10.00% of Actinidia arguta, Celastrus orbiculatus, and Salix pseudolasiogyne were used respectively (χ2=10.800, p=.013). In the case of foliage, 24.65% Aspidistra elatior, 24.62% Asparagus asparagoides, 11.54% Senecio rowleyanus, and 6.15% Ceropegia woodii (χ2=269.385, p<.001). In the case of berries, 44.44% of the fruits of the Smilax china, 33.33% of the Hypericum patulum, and 11.11% of the Phytolacca americana were found (χ2=11.444, p =.022). Non-planting materials used in the manufacture of flower jewelry were found to be 47.34% of 2mm aluminium wire, 33.73% of copper wire and 10.06% of 1mm aluminum wire (χ2=186.704, p<.001). The figure was 53.57% for pearls, 12.50% for ribbons, and 4.14% for spangles and feathers.

  • 최근 P2P 모델을 기반으로 한 애플리케이션의 등장으로 다양한 자원을 효율적으로 이용할 수 있게 되었다. P2P에서는 여러 대의 클라이언트를 상호 긴밀하게 연결함으로써 한 대의 서버에 다수의 클라이언트를 연결했을 때 보다 확실한 네트워크의 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 그러나, P2P 모델의 경우 개인 PC가 서버로서의 역할을 동시에 수행하기 때문에 서버보다는 기능과 성능 면에서 떨어질 뿐 아니라 기존의 서버에 비해 상대적으로 낮은 처리 속도, 적은 메모리, 보안상의 문제점들이 있다. 본 논문에서는 P2P 기반의 문제점의 하나인 피어(Peer)간의 파일 공유로 인해 발생하는 문제들을 해결하고자 기존의 파일 공유 기법을 개선하였다. 제안된 파일 공유 기법은 데이터의 무결성을 보장하고 파일의 상태 정보를 모니터링 함으로써 짧은 시간 안에 보다 효율적으로 파일을 교환할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • In this paper, we proposed the channel assignment scheme for the CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) cellular system using power allocation concept. Also, the performance of the proposed scheme was analyzed and it was compared with the channel assignment scheme using the fixed power allocation method in the CDMA cellular system. The proposed scheme allocates the power adaptively in according to the traffic loads and the traffic distribution pattern of neighbor cells in the forward link. We found that total call blocking probability (Pr) is more dependent on blocking probability($P_B$) than outage probability (Po) under physical number of channels ($C_{th}$)=30. Pr(Call Blocking Probability) is dependent on $P_B$(Blocking Probability) and Po(Outage Probability) at the same ratio under $C_{th}$=32, in which case P$P_{TA}$(blocking probability for the adaptive power allocation) is greater than $P_{TF}$(blocking probability for the fixed power allocation) about 6%.

  • 불연속 지형을 지나는 천수 흐름의 해석에서 흐름률을 정확하게 계산하기 위하여 계단에 의한 흐름 저항이 지배적인 계단 전면과 그 영향이 비교적 덜한 계단의 윗부분을 구분하여 접근하는 새로운 기법이 제안되었다(Hwang, 2015). 이 기법에 의한 모의 결과는 정확해, 가상의 문제에 대한 3차원 모의 결과, 그리고 실험 결과와 비교하여 대체로 만족스런 일치를 보인 바 있으나, 그 기법의 개선을 위해 보다 다양한 문제에 대해 검토할 필요가 있다. 이 연구에서는 높이 0.01 m인 계단의 전면 및 후면을 지나는 댐 붕괴 흐름에 대한 실험(Kim et al., 2014)에 대해 Hwang (2015)의 새로운 기법을 적용하고 그 결과를 비교하였다. 기존 모형(SGMS)의 결과에 비해 새로운 기법에 의한 결과(STP-TH)는 전면 계단의 앞(P2)과 뒤(P3) 그리고 후면 계단의 앞(P4)과 뒤(P5)에서 상류 저수지의 수심이 0.1 m인 실험 경우에 의한 수위와 더 잘 일치하였다.

Enhanced p-Cycles for WDM Optical Network with Limited Wavelength Converters (제한된 광 파장변환 기능을 가지는 WDM망을 고려한 개선된 p-Cycle 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose an enhanced p-cycles (preconfigured protection cycles) scheme for fast restoration in WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) optical mesh network with limited wavelength conversion for fast restoration. We enhanced the p-cycles to accommodate uni-directional connections to be used in uni-directional multicasting or asymmetric broadband multimedia communications with bi-directional connectivity. We applied it to WDM network with limited wavelength conversion and analyzed the result. The analysis results show that the enhanced p-cycle algorithm provides better performance in WDM optical networks with limited wavelength converter.

Artificial Intelligence Techniques for Predicting Online Peer-to-Peer(P2P) Loan Default (인공지능기법을 이용한 온라인 P2P 대출거래의 채무불이행 예측에 관한 실증연구)

  • In this article, an empirical study was conducted by using public dataset from Lending Club Corporation, the largest online peer-to-peer (P2P) lending in the world. We explore significant predictor variables related to P2P lending default that housing situation, length of employment, average current balance, debt-to-income ratio, loan amount, loan purpose, interest rate, public records, number of finance trades, total credit/credit limit, number of delinquent accounts, number of mortgage accounts, and number of bank card accounts are significant factors to loan funded successful on Lending Club platform. We developed online P2P lending default prediction models using discriminant analysis, logistic regression, neural networks, and decision trees (i.e., CART and C5.0) in order to predict P2P loan default. To verify the feasibility and effectiveness of P2P lending default prediction models, borrower loan data and credit data used in this study. Empirical results indicated that neural networks outperforms other classifiers such as discriminant analysis, logistic regression, CART, and C5.0. Neural networks always outperforms other classifiers in P2P loan default prediction.

  • A new current controlled PWM technique with N.P.C structure is proposed in this paper. A current controlled PWM technique with neutral-point-clamped pulsewidth modulation inverter composed of main switching devices which operates as switches for PWM and auxiliary switching devices to clamp the output terminal potential to the neutral point potential is described. This inverter output contains less harmonic content as compared with that of a conventional current controlled PWM type. In addition, the proposed current controlled PWM technique has lower switching frequency than that of conventional current controlled PWM technique at the same current limit. Two inverters are compared analytically. The improved voltage waveform of current controlled PWM with N.P.C structure is analyzed and the performance is investigated by the computer simulation.

Trust Discrimination Scheme Considering Limited Resources in Mobile P2P Environments (모바일 P2P환경에서 제한적인 자원을 고려한 신뢰성 판별 기법)

  • Recently, with the development of mobile devices and near field communication, mobile P2P networks have been actively studied to improve the limits of the existing centralized processing system. A peer has limited components such as batteries, memory and storage spaces in mobile P2P networks. The trust of a peer should be discriminated in order to share reliable contents in mobile P2P networks. In this paper, we propose a trust discrimination scheme considering limited resources in mobile P2P environments. The proposed scheme discriminates the trust of a peer by direct rating values using the rating information of the peer and indirect rating values by the other peers. The recent update time is included in the rating information. The proposed scheme reduces the redundant rating information by comparing the recent update times of the rating information. It is shown through performance evaluation that the proposed scheme reduces the number of messages and improves the accuracy of trust over the existing scheme.

Exploring the Performance of Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to Predict Good Borrowers in P2P Lending (P2P 대부 우수 대출자 예측을 위한 합성 소수집단 오버샘플링 기법 성과에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • This study aims to identify good borrowers within the context of P2P lending. P2P lending is a growing platform that allows individuals to lend and borrow money from each other. Inherent in any loans is credit risk of borrowers and needs to be considered before any lending. Specifically in the context of P2P lending, traditional models fall short and thus this study aimed to rectify this as well as explore the problem of class imbalances seen within credit risk data sets. This study implemented an over-sampling technique known as Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE). To test our approach, we implemented five benchmarking classifiers such as support vector machines, logistic regression, k-nearest neighbor, random forest, and deep neural network. The data sample used was retrieved from the publicly available LendingClub dataset. The proposed SMOTE revealed significantly improved results in comparison with the benchmarking classifiers. These results should help actors engaged within P2P lending to make better informed decisions when selecting potential borrowers eliminating the higher risks present in P2P lending.

  • 본 논문은 Peer-to-Peer 방식의 어플리케이션 레벨 파일 저장 시스템에서 피어(Peer) 노드의 성능을 고려하는 효율적인 파일 전송 방법을 소개한다. 무선 접속 기기의 보급으로 인해 P2P 네트워크를 구성하는 피어 노드가 무선망을 통해 접속될 가능성이 높아졌다. 기존의 P2P 네트워크에서 멀티미디어 파일 지원 방식은 피어 노드의 성능을 고려하지 않아 피어 노드와 네트워크의 리소스 낭비가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 에이전트 기법을 이용하여 노드의 성능을 고려하여 멀티미디어 데이터를 지원하는 방법을 소개한다.
