A Tone Correction Halftone Method Based on Response Characteristic of Digital Printer (디지털 프린터의 출려특성기반 톤 보정 망점화)

  • In recent years, various kinds of organic photoreceptors have been used for copy machines based on electrophotography. Most of them are constructed into layered devices in which a photogeneration layer is separated from a charge transport layer. They are usually used with application of negative charges. Organic pigment have received considerable attention with phthalocyanine, squaraine, and azo compounds being used to construct zerograpgic photoreceptors with enhanced long wavelength sensitivity, residual potential and zerograpgic gain of squaraine photoconductor were measured from the photoinduced discharge curve. Most of synthesized squaraine derivative couldn`t use for CGM(charge generation material), but it knew that a part of one was able to use it within the possibility. A few appliance is used it know about dependence on CTM(charge transport material) of squaraine derivative. It could know that experiment`s result is 2.5-bis(4-N-N`-diethylaminophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole(OXD) is the bestproduct.

Degradation effects of blue organic electroluminescence devices (청색 유기 EL 소자의 열화현상에 대한 연구)

  • In this study, We have investigated degradation effects of blue organic electroluminescence devices that was consisted of TPD(N,N'-dyphenyl-N-N\`-bis(3-methyphenyl) as hole transport layer and Butyl-PBD (2- (4-Biphenylyl)-5-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole)-as emission layer and electron transport layer. We have studied characteristics of brightness and current density about blue OEL that was degradated layer. Two kinds of samples that were fabricated each continuous and non-continuous method was used.

  • Electroluminescence(EL) devices based on organic thin layers have attracted lot of interests because of their possible application as large-area display-emitting display. One of the problems of such devices is lifetime of the cell, where the degradation of the cell is partially due to the crystalliyzation of organic layers. In large part, this problem can be solved by using a multilayer device structure prepared by vapor deposition technique. In this study, blue light-emitting multilayer organic electroluminescence devices were fabricated vsing Poly (9-vinylcarbaEole) (PVK) and 2- (4-tert-butylphenyl)-5-(4$^{#}$-bis-phenyl) 1,3,4-oxadiazole (PBO) as hole trasport and electron transport material, respectively, where trim(8-hyd roxyquinolinate) aluminum (Al $q_3$) was used as a luminescenct material. A cell structure of glass sub- strate/indume-tin-oxide(ITO)/PCK/Al $q_3$/PBD/Mg:In was employed. Blue emission peak at 510nm was observed with this cell structure.e.

  • We present that the electroluminescence (EL) efficiency can be improved by doping an electron transport layer (ETL) with organic materials which can make electron current increase. The electron transport layer of aluminum tris(8 -hydroxyquinoline) (Alq3) is doped with 2-(4-Biphenylyl)-5-(4-tertbutylphenyl)- 1,3,4-oxadiazole) (butyl-PBD) to enhance the electron mobility of the ETL. The higher quantum efficiency of device having ETL using Alq3 doped with butyl-PBD can be attributed to the improved electron and hole balance.

  • The purpose of this paper is to meausre the electrophotographic characteristics of double-layered organic photoreceptor and to evaluate an application for the laser beam printer drum. The characte carrier generation layer(CGL) of double-layered photoreceptor was fabricated with .tau.-H$_{2}$Pc which has high photosensitivity in the near-infrareed region(thickness is about 0.3.mu.m), and Oxadiazole derivative was chosen as a charge carrier transport layer(CTL) because of its high hole mobility. To observe the electrophotographic characteristics of the photoreceptor, we measured the charge acceptance, dark-decay ratio, residual potential after light irradiation. From the result of this study, proper thickness of CTL was about 10.mu.m. Also it's realized that electrophotographic characteristics of the photoreceptor were depend on the thickness of the CTL and the initial surface potential.

  • The fluorescence quenching of 2-phenyl-5-(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (PBD) and 1,4-di-[2-(5-phenyloxazolyl)]-benzene (POPOP) by aniline has been carried out in different solvent mixtures of dioxane and acetonitrile at room temperature. The quenching is found to be appreciable and a positive deviation from linearity was observed in the Stern-Volmer plot in all the solvent mixtures. Various rate constants for the quenching processes have been determined using a modified Stern-Volmer equation. From the positive deviations of linear Stern-Volmer plots and the dependence of rate constants on the polarity of the solvents, it has been concluded that both static and dynamic quenching processes are responsible for the observed positive deviation in the Stern-Volmer plot.

  • Since the first report on poly(p-phenylenevinylene), the electroluminescent properties of namy conjugated polymers such as poly(p-phenylenevinylene) (PPV), poythiophene (PT), poly(p-phenylene) (PPP), and polyfluorene (PF) have been investigated because of their potential for use in display technology However, in the application of polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs), there are yet three fundamental issues to be considered: (1) full color capability, (2) emission efficiency, (3) stability (lifetime).   • Oganic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) using PBD(2-(4-biphenylyl)-5-(4-tert-butylpheny)-1,3,4oxadiazole) as a hole blocking layer were fabricated and their device performances were investigated. The devices have a structure of glass substrate ${\setminus}$ indium tin oxide (ITO) ${\setminus}$ TPD(HTL)${\setminus}$PBD,BCP(HBL)${\setminus}$Alq3(EIL)${\setminus}$Mg:Ag(cathode). In this work Bathocuproine(BCP:2,9-Dimethyl-4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline) and PBD which were previously known as a good ETL material were used as a HBL. By employing HBL, the luminance and quantum efficiency of OLEDs could be improved due to the increase of recombination probability of electrons and holes.

  • 본 연구에서는 ETL층으로 널리 알려져 있는 PBD(2-(4-biphenyl)-5-(4-tert-butylphenyl) -1.3,4oxadiazole)를 HBL(Hole-blocking layer) 물질로 이용 하고 Nile red를 사용하여 적색 발광의 EL(electroluminescence) 소자를 제작 평가하였다. 일반적인 유기 EL 소자의 구조인 Anode/HTL(Hole Transport Layer)/ETL(Electron Transport Layer)/Cathode로 이루어져 있다. 여기에 HTL과 ETL사이에 HBL를 추가하여 EL 소자의 성능을 향상 시킬 수 있으면, 이러한 구조의 최종 소자를 제작 EML(emitting layer; Nile red)의 두께 및 임계전압을 달리 하여 소자 의 특성을 평가 연구 하였다.
