In order to respond to changes in college's educational goals and talents, university libraries need to be transformed into spaces that support creative and collaborative learning. Apart from overseas cases, it is necessary to discuss the development of creative and collaborative learning spaces appropriate to the situation of Korean university libraries. This purpose of this study is to provide an effective guide to university libraries planning to develop creative and cooperative learning spaces. To this end, this study conducted a literature review to define the concept of a creative and collaborative learning space in a university library, collected and analyzed cases of creative and collaborative learning space of Korean university libraries, and proposed a model for developing creative and collaborative learning space for university library. Case collection was carried out through field visits to 12 university libraries. In addition, in-depth interviews were conducted with the staffs in charge of the construction and operation of five university libraries selected in consideration of the operating entity, region, and scale. This study is meaningful in that it intensively researched and analyzed the advanced cases of creative and collaborative learning spaces in Korea to derive suggestions that can be used in the field of domestic university libraries.

References at the end of an academic paper are information that helps authors keep their research ethics, readers refer to related prior studies. Also references are useful information for linking citations and citations between articles. As bibliography metrics develops, bibliographic data is used as an important data for assessing the academic influence of countries, institutions and individual researchers. However, it is not easy to identify and link the reference data due to the diversity of the bibliographic citation formats, the loss of information due to the abbreviation of journal names and author names, and typos by authors. This study investigated the method of improving the bibliographic data mapping rate by analyzing the unmapped cases. As a result, it was found that the main cause of the article-reference mapping failure was the similarity of abbreviated journal names. Research team suggested that continuous management of journal title authority data and improving the DOI registration rate as ways to improve the identification and mapping rate. This study is differentiated from other studies in used database. Bibliography mapping was attempted for domestic and foreign integrated journal database that is mainly subscribed, used, published and cited in Korea. Through reference construction volume and mapping rate improvement, it can be used as citation analysis and service database reflecting domestic situation that is different from overseas citation index database.
This paper describes the correlation and relationship between elastic moduli measured by three stiffness measurement methods with different mechanical characteristics to evaluate the compaction characteristics of subgrade soils. The Soil Stiffness Gauge (SSG) with very small strain (${\approx}0.001%$) ranges, static Plate Loading Test (PLT) with mid-level strain (${\approx}0.01{\sim}0.1%$) ranges, and Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) using penetration resistance were implemented to measure the elastic modulus. To use the elastic modulus measured by different measurement methods with a wide range of strain in practice, it is required to identify the correlation and relationship of measured values in advance. The comparison results of the measured elastic moduli ($E_{SSG}$, $E_{PLT}$, $E_{DCP}$) using the three measurement methods for domestic and overseas subgrade soils under various conditions indicate that the evaluated elastic modulus relies on the types of soils and the level of stress condition. The correlation analysis of the measured elastic moduli except the data of cement treated soils indicates that the static elastic modulus ($E_{PLT}$) is evaluated as about 60 to 80% of the dynamic elastic modulus ($E_{SSG}$). Unusual soils such as cement treated soils are required to be corrected by the stress correction during the correlation analysis with typical soils, because these types of soils are sensitive to the stress condition when measuring the static elastic modulus ($E_{PLT}$) of soils. In addition, when considering the use of DCP data for the evaluation of the elastic modulus ($E_{DCP}$), the measured data of the elastic modulus less than 200 MPa show more reliable correlation.
Leasing is one of the main methods for Chinese airlines to introduce aircraft from overseas manufactures, and this method has been used for more than 30 years by Chinese airlines. Aircraft leasing in essence is a kind of financial transaction, through which lessors provide finance to lessees by means of the delivery of possession of the leased aircraft. At the time when China started to introduce aircraft through leasing some 30 years ago, the Chinese domestic laws were very insufficient to regulate these activities. Therefore, a construction process for the law of aircraft leasing was triggered then, and some fruit has been gained. By far, there are rules to adjust the aircraft activities in the aspects of contract, real right, default and bankruptcy remedies. However, as the improvement of any system must undergo a process of exploration, the law of aircraft leasing in China is still faced up with many challenges. Especially with the emergence and prosperous of domestic leasing industry, new transaction structures and models of aircraft leasing have emerged, which leaves new challenges to current legal system. On the basis of introducing the history and main contents of Chinese legal regime of aircraft leasing, this paper offers an analysis of achievements and challenges on present Chinese laws in the aspects of contract, real right and remedies.

As the development of ICT technology, in order to solve the problem of scattered water information's availability, WINS(Water management Information Networking System) by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport was established and has been operated since 2004. However, there has been a disadvantage of providing specialized and limited information to the water resources sector mainly and a lack of active sharing of information because of no compulsory provision of information sharing between participants. In order to solve these problems, this paper carried out system development study, to do this, the status of domestic water information was surveyed and domestic and overseas related systems were compared and analyzed. The latest ICT technology was used to realize the contents as screen, and the user interface definition was created to present a role model of integrated water management through maximizing visualization by combining GIS and realtime data and providing space-time integrated information. These prior studies reached to actual construction of the ICT-based integrated management system for water information by K-water. This system is in service to the public installed in the water information portal, "MyWater".
This paper is conducted to find out if the previous corporate internal reservation has a significant effect on current investment and dividend payments by using the dummy variables of each classified industry. The results of the research show that previous corporate internal reservation had a significant effect on current material investments in following fields - manufacturing industries, technical services, wholesale and retail industries, information services, construction and transportation industries - over two years. Especially, investments in tangible assets were more effective than those in development expenses. In human resource investment, previous corporate internal reservation had a significant effect on current human investments in fields of manufacturing, technical services, information services and transportation industries. Among them, investments in education training expense and welfare benefit expense were more effective than those in wages. In the dividend section, previous corporate internal reservation had a significant effect on current dividends in the fields of manufacturing, wholesale and retail, information services, transportation industries, and in other businesses. Among them, Expenditure on dividend amounts was found to be more effective than that on dividend ratio. This paper contributed to the field in a way of empirically demonstrating the effects of previous corporate internal reservation on current investments and dividends by using the method of industrial classification. On the other hand, it also has a limitation since collecting precise taxation data was practically difficult. Therefore, a further developed study is required to find out the standard which shows exactly how much the measured results of the regression analysis reflect the effects of the government policies. Moreover, it is considered necessary for the government to devise policies on vagueness and uncertainties in the domestic and overseas economic and business environments so that companies can conduct investment with confidence.

Busan Port, Korea, is a region that must take integrated measures against problems such as the excessive handling of cargo volume, the intensification of port congestion, and the construction of a new port to improve port competitive power. In particular, if a great deal of function in the existing area of Busan Port transfers to a new port, then the problems of port redevelopment will occur as shown in the cases of port developed countries explained hereafter. For Korean ports, port redevelopment in a port zone is implemented for improving the port productivity that targets a local area, but the entire and systematic port redevelopment is not accounted for. Focused on this point, the paper is to present the directions for full-scale port redevelopment of the existing zone of Busan Port. The findings are as follows: First, the region of Busan is divided according to a regional classification that is necessary for port redevelopment. Thereby, 4 zones, total 26 regions of redevelopment were selected. Second, overseas case studies were considered for port redevelopment. From these same studies, appropriate types of port development in Korea were extracted and presented. Third, the status and problems of the selected redevelopment regions were analyzed, and types of port redevelopment were assigned. This study was not applied to the strict evaluation technique by quantitative analysis, but the concept and directions for unprecedented port redevelopment were first defined and established. It is significant to select target areas for redevelopment by regional classification and present directions for developing each region by choosing Busan Port as a real case study. This initiation will greatly contribute to the succeeding study.

The construction of new roads and the consistent extension of already-existing roads or the line-shape revision of those roads are increased with the governmental investment to SOC facilities currently. Accordingly, the road cut slopes are in the trend of rapidly increasing. As the road slope has increased, a lot of human and property damages has entailed consequently and in the local case, numerous studies have carried out aiming at minimizing this damages caused by the rockfall and landslide. In general, standard falling rock prevention facility has employed for most of the local road slope based on "Guide for Installation and Management of Road Safety Facilities" published by MLTM(the Ministry of Land, Transport, and Maritime Affairs) but profound doubt has raised as to whether this rockfall prevention facility would function properly enough to prevent rockfall efficiently without any damages in case of actual occurrence of rockfall. In addition, it is a reality that in most cases, such work is relied on overseas technology as a whole as the local technical level is low and in case of rockfall prevention net, it is judged that a study on rockfall prevention net that is able to endure more powerful rockfall energy is required as the problem including net bursting is taken place as a result of enough bearing force being failed to be demonstrated due to its partial weak point(not uniformly made). Under this background, in this study, three kinds of model depending on mesh size of expanded metal that is considered to have an adoptability as rockfall prevention net, as target are selected and characteristics depending on mesh size of expanded metal is intended to be researched through a pull-out test performance by using pull-out test equipment rockfall prevention net.
Although construction of any new nuclear power projects had not been launched since mid-1970s until recently in the USA, many new nuclear power plants have been constructed in many countries with the support of their governments mainly as part of their national energy security and electric source diversification policies. For many reasons, the nuclear power industry seemed to reclaim their renaissance from the beginning of this century and the investment in the nuclear power projects draw positive concern from the private financial sector. But the global financial crisis in 2008 and subsequent economic slow-down together with tighter bank credit regulations caused commercial banks, the main source of financing, to lose appetite for investing in new nuclear power projects. But the nuclear power economics shows that the nuclear power is viable in terms of the environmental benefit and long-term average cost compared to other power generation sources. Also doubt about nuclear power safety was much mitigated due to technology development and reinforced safety-related tests and monitoring. Therefore, the prospect for nuclear power market expansion remains positive although there are comparatively big differences among different scenarios. After Korea Electric Power Corp. won the UAE nuclear power project in December of 2009, the competition in nuclear power markets is undergoing huge changes. Competitors backed by the support of their own governments are now entering the market with many aggressive and innovative financing packages to win bids of new nuclear power projects. This report analyzed the nuclear power market prospects, competitive edges of nuclear power, risk management measures, and financing challenges and recommends alternative solutions to promote competitive edges in winning bids of new nuclear power projects.

The purpose of this study is to develop an efficient incident detection algorithm by applying machine learning, which is being widely used in the transport sector. As a first step, network of the target site was constructed with micro-simulation model. Secondly, data has been collected under various incident scenarios produced with combination of variables that are expected to affect the incident situation. And, detection results from both McMaster algorithm, a well known incident detection algorithm, and the Naive Bayes algorithm, developed in this study, were compared. As a result of comparison, Naive Bayes algorithm showed less negative effect and better detect rate (DR) than the McMaster algorithm. However, as DR increases, so did false alarm rate (FAR). Also, while McMaster algorithm detected in four cycles, Naive Bayes algorithm determine the situation with just one cycle, which increases DR but also seems to have increased FAR. Consequently it has been identified that the Naive Bayes algorithm has a great potential in traffic incident detection.
