교모면적과 저작근 활성도와의 관계에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Occlusal Wear Facet areas and Masticatory Muscle Activities)

  • The purpose of this study was to obtain basic data needed to clinical diagnosis and treatment by investigating the occlusal wear facets and those related factors. Sixty-six subjects, ranging from 24 to 26 years of age without symptoms of stomatognatic system, were selected from dental students in Chosun University. The area of occlusal wear facets was measured and twenty subjects were selected, and divided into two groups (Group I and Group II). The Group I had small facet areas, and the Group II had large facet areas. These two groups were investigated into right and left side wear facet areas, vertical overlaps, occlusion types of working side, masticatory muscle activities, and asymmetry of right and left side masticatory muscle function. The results were as follows: 1. The average wear facet areas of all subjects was $22.84{\pm}88.95mm^2$, and Group I and Group II were $96.12{\pm}32.00mm^2$ and $372.94{\pm}65.63mm^2$ respectively. 2. The right and left wear facet areas of Group I were $46.72{\pm}14.36mm^2$ and $49.40{\pm}21.46mm^2$ respectively. The right and left wear facet areas of Group II were $175.27{\pm}45.75mm^2$ and $185.69{\pm}45.37mm^2$ repsectively. 3. The vertical overlap of Group I and Group II was $3.88{\pm}0.81mm$ and $2.88{\pm}1.14mm $ respectively. 4. Most of the Group I had Canine protection occlusion (80%), and most of the Group II had Group function occlusion (80%). 5. The masticatory muscle activities at rest position, maximum bite, habitual chewing, right and left unilateral chewing were greater in Group II than in Group I, especially in the masseter muscle of working side at right and left unilateral chewing. (P<0.01). 6. The asymmetry of right and left wear facets and masticatory muscle activities were greater in Group II than in Group I. (P<0.01).

낙동강 중류 지역의 통합적 유역환경평가 및 유형화 (An Integrated Watershed Environmental Assessment and Classification of the Mid-Nakdong River Region)

  • Many of today's environmental problems are regional in scope and their effects overlap and interact. The purpose of this paper is to developed a simple method for an integrated assessment of environmental conditions across the Mid-Nakdong River Region, by combining data on land use, impervious cover, roads, streams, riparian areas, forest patches, population, pollutant loadings, soil erosion and topography. A cluster analysis was used to identify groups of sub-watersheds with similar environmental characteristics. The mean value for each group was used to find watershed that may be more vulnerable to future environmental degradation. Watersheds in cluster I and II had high amount of forest, but the amount of riparian vegetation was low. Watersheds in cluster III, which located in the middle Geumho River and the main course of Nakdong River, had a greater proportion of their agriculture, a greater proportion of agriculture on steep slopes, and less forest adjacent to streams. Watersheds in cluster IV and V were in the most urbanized areas of the region. The principal adverse impacts for watersheds in this group were high scores for urban area, impervious cover, pollutant loadings, population density, forest fragmentation, and low amounts of forest and riparian forest cover. Notwithstanding the exploratory nature of cluster analysis, it appears to be a useful tool for grouping watersheds with similar environmental characteristics.

안정동위원소 분석을 이용한 이식된 지네지누아리의 생태학적 기능 평가 (Isotopic Assessment of Ecological Function of a Transplanted Macroalgal Habitat (Grateloupia asiatica))

  • To assess the trophic function of an artificial macroalgal habitat, we compared the stable carbon and nitrogen isotope ratios of two amphipods (Caprella sp. and Ampithoe sp.) and their potential food sources in a transplanted macroalgal habitat (Grateloupia asiatica) with those in a natural habitat. There were no significant differences in the isotopic values of both consumers and their potential food sources between the transplanted and natural habitats. Such isotopic similarities between the two sites indicate a comparable resource consumer relationship. Additionally, our results showed similar isotopic niche areas and high dietary overlap (>65%) of the two amphipods between the transplanted and natural sites, suggesting that the transplanted habitat plays ecological roles similar to the natural habitat. Overall, isotopic assessment can provide information on the trophic function of diverse transplanted macroalgal habitats and improve post-monitoring efforts in the management of artificial ecosystems.

구내방사선사진상의 이공에 관한 연구 (A RADIOGRAPHIC STUDY OF MENTAL FORAMEN IN INTRAORAL RADIOGRAPHS)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the position and shape of mental foramen in periapical radiographs. For this study, periapical radiographs of premolar areas were obtained from the 200 adults. Accordingly, the positional and shape changes of mental foramen were evaluated. The authors obtained radiographs according to changes in radiation beam direction in periapical radiographs of premolar areas, and then evaluated the positional and shape changes of mental foramen. The following results were obtained: 1. Shapes of mental foramen were observed elliptical(34.3%), round or oval(28.0%), unidentified(25.5%) and diffuse(12.2%) type in descending order of frequency. 2. Horizontal positions of mental foramen were most frequently observed at the 2nd premolar area(55.3%), the area between the 1st premolar and 2nd premolar(39.6%), the area between the 2nd premolar and 1st molar(3.4%), the 1st premolar area(1.0%), the area between the canine and 1st premolar(0.7%) in descending order of frequency. 3. Vertical positions of mental foramen were most frequently observed at the inferior to apex(67.1%), and at apex(24.8%), overlap with apex(6.4%), superior to apex(1.7%) in descending order of frequency. 4. Shapes of mental foramen were more obviously observed at the upward 10° positioned periapical radiographs. And according to the changes of horizontal and vertical position, they were observed similar to normally positioned periapical radiographs.

라인방식 디지털 항공 카메라영상의 위치 정확도 평가 (Accuracy Assessment Geoposition of Airborne Line-Scanner Image)

  • 라인빙식의 항공디지털 카메라인 ADS 80의 후방(backward)영상으로 정사영성을 제작하고 건물의 기복 변위와 폐색영역을 보정 후, True Ortho Photo을 제작하였다. 또한 제작된 정사영상과 True Ortho-Photo을 검증을 위해 지상검사점, 사진기준점을 이용하여 평면 위치정확도 평가 및 분석한 결과, 프레임방식과 비교하여 상대적으로 소량의 지상기준점을 이용하여 고품질의 정사영상을 제작할 수 있었다. 또한 라인 방식 카메라의 True Ortho Photo 제작 시, 종중복도가 100%이므로 폐색영역 보정시에 효과적임을 검증 할 수 있었다.

어린이 재활병원 공간구조의 시지각적 특성 연구 - 소아재활 외래진료부 및 재활치료부 영역을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Visual Cognitive Characteristics of the Spatial Configuration in Children's Rehabilitation Hospitals - Focused on the Pediatric Rehabilitation Outpatient and Therapy Areas -)

  • In many theoretical and empirical studies on the design issues of therapeutic healthcare facilities, spatial configuration that promotes users' wayfinding behavior, has been emphasized as a significant factor to mitigate stressful experiences and to enhance restorative quality in the healthcare environment. This is also applicable to the healthcare setting for children. However, not much evidence has been reported with regard to the relationship between spatial configuration and wayfinding behaviors in this specific setting. Moreover, healthcare facilities for children with physical disabilities need more attention to provide easy wayfinding due to various physical restrictions. The aim of this study is therefore, to unfold the relationship between spatial configuration and visual cognitive qualities of outpatient spaces in the selected children's rehabilitation hospitals in Seoul, by examining visual cognitive attributes such as visibility, accessibility, and intelligibility. In the first phase, the spatial layout of the hospitals was analyzed, with an emphasis on the major outpatient areas such as the entrance lobby, doctors' examination, and physical therapy zones. In the second phase, a space syntax tool was implemented to examine visual cognitive characteristics of the spatial configuration. The spatial configuration parameters measured were integration, integration core, visual isovist field continuity, correlation between integration and step depth, and the correlation between integration n and integration 3. As a result, the integration was higher in the hall type configuration. Circulation intersections acted mostly as integration cores for better visibility. Some areas showed the lack of continuity in the visual isovist fields overlap and irregular correlation between integration and step depth. The intelligibility was higher in the circulation area and social interaction spaces such as a cafe, reception waiting, and therapy waiting areas. Based on the analysis, design implication and possible future improvement were discussed to enhance wayfinding experiences in the hospitals for children with physical disabilities.

3D 제작과 정사영상 생성을 위한 UAV 최적 촬영 조건 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Shooting Conditions of UAV for 3D Production and Orthophoto Generation)

  • 최근 무인비행장치의 활용방안에 대한 연구들이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이를 지원하기 위해서 국토지리정보원은 『무인비행장치 이용 공공측량 작업지침』을 제정하였다. 하지만 작업지침에는 각 활용 분야에 필요한 최적의 촬영 조건은 제시되어 있지는 않다. 본 연구에서는 측량분야에서 많이 활용되는 3D 공간정보, 정사영상 제작에 적합한 촬영 조건을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 특별승인을 받지 않아도 비행할 수 있는 고도 150m 이내에서 다양한 고도, 중복도, 촬영각도에 따라 45번의 실험을 진행하였다. 3D 모델링의 촬영조건별 품질을 파악하기 위해 총 9곳의 검증영역의 점밀도를 분석하였으며, 정사영상과 1/1,000 수치지도를 비교하였다. 결과물의 품질과 작업시간을 고려할 때, 정밀 3D구축을 위해서는 촬영고도 50m 중복도 70~80% 촬영각도 80~90°의 촬영조건이 적합하고, 정사영상 제작에는 촬영고도 100m 촬영각도 80~90°의 촬영조건이 적합함을 알 수 있었다.

SPW 흙막이 벽체의 설계요소별 부재력과 수평변위 및 콘크리트강도 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Member Force, Horizontal Displacement and Concrete Strength by Design Elements of SPW Retaining Walls)

  • 굴착공사가 이루어지는 지역에서는 지하수위 변화와 지반침하를 최소화하기 위한 흙막이 벽체 공법 선정이 매우 중요하다. 이러한 측면에서 CIP 공법의 단점을 보완할 수 있는 SPW 공법은 국내 흙막이 벽체 시공 시 점차 증가하는 추세이다. 이러한 여건을 고려하여 본 연구에서는 SPW 공법의 설계요소와 흙막이 벽체의 구조적 안정요소간 상호 특성에 대하여 연구하였다. 여기서, 흙막이 벽체의 설계요소는 말뚝 간 겹침길이, 말뚝직경, H형강 보강재 규격이며 이에 따른 흙막이 벽체의 구조적 안정요소는 흙막이 벽체의 휨응력, 전단응력, 수평변위, 콘크리트 강도이다. 연구 결과 H형강 보강재의 부재력에 큰 영향을 미치는 설계요소는 말뚝직경과 H형강 보강재 규격이며, 수평변위에 큰 영향을 미치는 설계요소는 말뚝직경과 말뚝 간 겹침길이인 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 콘크리트 강도에 큰 영향을 미치는 설계요소는 말뚝직경과 H형강 보강재 규격인 것으로 나타났다.

Ocean Feature Tracking Using Sequential SAR Images

  • With repeated coverage, spaceborne SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) instruments provide the most efficient means to monitor and study the changes in important elements of the marine environment. Due to highresolution of SAR data, the coverage of SAR sensor is always limited, especially for a repeat cycle. With more SAR sensors from various satellites, new data products such as ocean surface drift can be derived when two SARs' tracks overlap in a short time over coastal areas. Currently, there are two SAR sensors on different satellites with almost the exactly same path. That is, ERS-2 is following ENVISAT with a 30-minutes delay, which will be a good timing for ocean mesosclae feature tracking. For another application, a mystery ship near a big eddy with strong ship wake has been tracked between ERS-2 and ENVISAT SAR images to estimate its ship speed.

  • 주거지와 인접한 사면에서 발생하는 산사태는 많은 인명 및 재산상의 손실을 유발시킨다. 산사태 해석 방법에는 토질역학적인 방법과 지질, 지형, 식생, 그리고 기후 등 여러 요인이 복합적으로 작용하여 발생하기 때문에 다중통계에 의한 해석방법 등 여러가지가 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 산사태 발생지역을 모델지역으로 선정하여 다중통계방법을 채택하기 위한 지형 데이타의 특성을 추출하였다. 통계값에 대한 경중률 분석을 하고 이를 GSIS의 중첩기법을 이용하여 임의의 지역에 적용시켜 보았다.
