Public Key Encryption with Equality Test for Heterogeneous Systems in Cloud Computing

  • Cloud computing provides a broad range of services like operating systems, hardware, software and resources. Availability of these services encourages data owners to outsource their intensive computations and massive data to the cloud. However, considering the untrusted nature of cloud server, it is essential to encrypt the data before outsourcing it to the cloud. Unfortunately, this leads to a challenge when it comes to providing search functionality for encrypted data located in the cloud. To address this challenge, this paper presents a public key encryption with equality test for heterogeneous systems (PKE-ET-HS). The PKE-ET-HS scheme simulates certificateless public encryption with equality test (CLE-ET) with the identity-based encryption with equality test (IBE-ET). This scheme provides the authorized cloud server the right to actuate the equivalence of two messages having their encryptions performed under heterogeneous systems. Basing on the random oracle model, we construct the security of our proposed scheme under the bilinear Diffie-Hellman (BDH) assumption. Eventually, we evaluate the size of storage, computation complexities, and properties with other related works and illustrations indicate good performance from our scheme.

A Study on the Success Factors of Architectural Information System(SEUMTER) in South Korea

  • Since the late 1990s, the Korean government has attempted to develop the Architectural Information System (AIS, SEUMTER), led by the Ministry of Construction and Transportation, in order to improve civil complaint convenience and administrative efficiency in architectural administration. Since then, for nearly 30 years, the Korean government has been continuously upgrading the SEUMTER system. Based on these advancement projects, it is now possible to conduct civil affairs through the Internet, and civil petitioners can file complaints with government offices without visiting and without documents. In addition, statistical work and performance management became possible in real time for civil servants. And recently, by clouding the SEUMTER system, intelligent services have become possible. In this paper, the development process of the SEUMTER was divided into four stages and evaluated, and the main success factors were derived. The main success factors of SEUMTER are 1) Promotion as a National Agenda - Leadership of the President and Ministers, 2) Outsourcing of Information System Development and Dissemination, 3) Overcoming Selfishness between Ministries - Integrating Building Permits System and Building Ledger Systems, 4) Continue to Promote Information System Advancement. Subsequently, three global diffusion strategies for SEUMTER were presented: 1) the Need to Establish Globalization Strategy: Linkage with Smart City Business, 2) Small and Medium-sized System Model Needed for Globalization and ODA, and 3) System Success Needs to be Publicized Internationally.

서비스산업에서 아웃소싱 SLA계약이 서비스 수준과 서비스생산성에 미치는 영향 연구 (The Effects of SLA on Service Quality Level and Service Productivity of Sub-contractor)

  • Purpose - The Service Level Agreement which has been used in the IT information communication industry to maintain the level of service supplied by a vendor has been adopted in the service industry surrounding the airliners and airports. Considering that service quality is dependent on attitude of employees who are responsible to provide service, it is very important to understand what kinds of effects SLA(service level agreement) has on the attitude when SLA is applied to the service industry. SLA is an agreement between management authority and service providing contractor to make sure that certain level of service quality should be provided. For employees whose responsibilities are providing the service, SLA has both positive effects and negative effects. Negative side is that employees have to follow many irrigating complicated rules. On the other hand, the attribute of rules is that once one is become accustomed to them one may feel comfortable doing repeated same kinds of works, which is positive side for the workers. Research design, data, and methodology - We analyzed whether the SLA has moderating effects while service providers' job environment of outsourcing companies affects job satisfaction. Especially in the service industry, job satisfaction has great effects on productivity and efficiency. Results - The study results show the following. First, SLA has moderating effects while task performance environment affects treatment satisfaction. Second, SLA has moderating effects while task motivation environment affects treatment satisfaction. Third, SLA has moderating effects while physical work environment satisfaction affects treatment satisfaction. Fourth, on the other hand, the difficulties caused by SLA have moderating effects while the relationship among employees affects job dissatisfaction, which is negative side of SLA. From these results, we can tell that SLA has more positive moderating effects on treatment satisfaction on the whole. which results can be used to justify applying SLA to the service industry. Conclusions - In this study we analyzed the effects of SLA which have become more important in service industry nowadays on service providing employees. For managing side, the positive effects of SLA have to be emphasized while the negative effects should be avoided or minimized.

의류제조 직업능력개발교육 학습자의 학습참여동기가 교육 및 취업서비스만족도와 직업능력개발성과에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Learner's Motivation on Professional Development in Vocational Education of Clothing Manufacturing)

  • This study investigated how learning motivation affects satisfaction with training and employment services and its performance for participants in government-supported job skill development program of the clothing industry so as to provide fundamental data for developing a training program that fosters professionals and relieves the labor shortage in the clothing industry. 180 copies of questionnaires were statistically analyzed by SPSSWIN 21.0. Most trainees were low-income citizens in their 40s and 50s. They were divided into highly educated or low-educated. The results of the research are as follows: when the trainees were motivated by the goals of getting a certificate or a job, employment service satisfaction levels were influenced meaningfully. Secondly, educational satisfaction levels and occupational ability development also scored highly. Therefore, it is important to strengthen instructors' competency. Instructors must be required to have onsite experience so that they can provide authentic education that can be applied to the work field. The government should establish a compulsory training session for the trainers along with an incentive program so that they can catch up with up-to-date technology and trend. Third, the research shows that supporting business startup and job placement is important. Follow-up management systems should be provided in cooperation with relevant institutions of employment and business startups. Either outsourcing or placement of professional advisors is also needed.

The Effect of R&D on High-Tech Product Export Competitiveness: Empirical Evidence from Panel Data of East Asian Economies

  • This study investigates the effects of the two most important indicators of a nation's state of scientific infrastructure: R&D investment and the number of R&D researchers engaged in high-tech product export competitiveness for a panel of 11 countries/economies from East Asia from 1994 to 2010. A GMM panel estimation method was employed to account for the dynamic effect of trade and to control for un-observed country specific effects that may arise due to an inter-country differences and intra-country dynamics. Accordingly, the empirical results reveal that (once controlled for the influence of per capita income) physical capital and infrastructure, a 1% increase in a country's expenditure on the ratio of R&D to GDP may increase high-tech product export performance by approximately $397 million per year. Other factors constant, a 1% increase in the number of R&D researchers is expected to increase the ability to export high-tech products by approximately $67 million. The East Asian development experience demonstrates how latecomers can follow systematic industrialization and join the handful of economies that have come a long way toward closing the knowledge gap with the global technological leaders. However, this does not mean that the policy approaches and overall commitments pursued by each East Asian economy in relation to R&D investment and acquisition of an adequate pool of researchers, and their ultimate achievements in high-tech product export competitiveness were uniform. As a result, there is still a significant variation among countries/economies in terms of performance. This study recommended a number of potential tools and policy instruments that may assist policy makers to foster R&D as an engine to enhance the high-tech product export competitiveness.

수출지원기반활용사업에서 디자인 서비스의 성과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance of Design Services in the Export Voucher)

  • 본 연구는 수출기반활용사업 중에서 디자인서비스 분야의 성과에 관한 연구이다. 특히, 참여기업 관점에서 디자인서비스의 이용실태와 이에 따른 문제점을 파악하여, 관련 사업에서 디자인서비스 분야에 있어서 성공적 지원방안 마련을 위한 기초 자료 제공을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 기록자료(archival records)를 활용하여 디자인서비스의 정확한 성과를 측정할 수 있도록 정량적 설문(survey) 조사를 설계하였고, 설문은 총 3차례 발송을 통하여 참여기업은 135개사에서 응답하였다. 연구결과에서 디자인서비스의 유의미한 성과는 의료/바이오/헬스케어, 전기/전자제품 등 국가 주력산업군의 수출에서 디자인 역할이 중요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 매출액 차이와는 상관없이 모든 참여기업들이 디자인서비스를 이용하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 특히, 디자인서비스 효과는 참여기업들의 96 %가 가장 효과적이었던 서비스라고 답변하였다. 결과적으로 수출지원기반활용사업에 있어서 디자인서비스의 중요성을 입증하였고, 향후 수출지원기반활용사업의 디자인서비스의 발전방향으로서 관리 시스템 도입의 중요성을 제언하였다.

외식 프랜차이즈 가맹본부의 프로모션 활동이 가맹점의 신뢰와 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effects of Franchisor's Promotion Strategies on Food Service Franchisee Trust and Business Performance)

  • 본 연구는 그동안 가맹본부 중심의 연구추세에서 벗어나 실질적으로 가맹사업을 운영하고 있는 가맹점주의 신뢰 및 경영성과를 이뤄낼 수 있는 전략을 수립하고자 기존의 연구들을 고찰하여 선행변수로 가맹본부의 프로모션 활동 요소인 구전 커뮤니케이션, 광고 & 퍼블리시티와 최근에 많이 활용되어지는 모집대행 아웃소싱, 플래그십 스토어 등을 추가하여 가맹점주의 신뢰 및 가맹점의 경영성과 간에 인과 관계를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 건전한 가맹점의 유치를 위한 관권은 가맹점의 신뢰를 높이고 구전 마케팅 등을 통한 노력에 강력하게 투자, 관리하여 지속적인 가맹점의 유치 및 시장진출이 가능할 것이라는 결론을 도출할 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해 프랜차이즈 본사의 신규 가맹점 모집전략은 물론 지속적인 관계를 맺을 수 있는 경영전략 수립에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

SaaS 기업의 차별화 및 가격전략이 고객획득성과에 미치는 영향: SaaS 기술성숙도 수준의 매개효과 및 조절효과를 중심으로 (Effects of firm strategies on customer acquisition of Software as a Service (SaaS) providers: A mediating and moderating role of SaaS technology maturity)

  • SaaS는 사용자가 필요한 소프트웨어를 인터넷을 통해 원격으로 서비스 받을 수 있도록 하는 모델로 소프트웨어 시장에서 차지하는 비중이 커짐과 동시에 관련 분야의 비즈니스 요구사항의 증가에 따라 지속적인 성장이 기대되는 분야이다. 이에 본 연구는 SaaS 공급업체들을 대상으로 기업에서 추구하는 차별화 전략 및 낮은 가격전략과 고객획득성과와의 관계를 살펴보고 더 나아가 이들 간의 관계에서 SaaS 기술성숙도 수준의 매개효과와 조절효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 SaaS 제공업체 및 국내 CNK(commerce net Korea) 데이터베이스에 등록된 업체의 어플리케이션을 대상으로, 175개 기업 총 199개 SaaS 전략사업단위의 설문결과를 분석에 활용하였다. SaaS 기술성숙도가 차별화전략 및 낮은가격전략과 고객획득성과와의 관계를 매개하는지 검증하기 위해 Baron and Kenny (1986)가 제안한 절차에 따라 회귀분석을 실시하였고, SaaS 기술성숙도의 조절효과를 살펴보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석(hierarchical regression analysis) 방법을 적용한 상호작용효과를 검증하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, SaaS 제공업체가 추구하는 차별화 전략(업종특화, 파트너활용, 전담인력수) 및 낮은 가격전략(월이용료, 초기설치비)과 같은 기업전략은 고객획득에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, SaaS 공급업체의 기술성숙도 수준(어플리케이션 서비스 제공, 웹 기본 어플리케이션, 웹 서비스 어플리케이션)과 고객 획득성과 간에 유의미한 긍정적인 관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로, SaaS 기술성숙도 수준의 기업전략과 고객획득성과와의 관계에 대한 조절효과는 주로 차별화 전략에 대해 나타난 반면, 매개효과는 주로 낮은 가격전략에 대해 나타남을 확인하였다.

Marketing strategy and the current status of Global SPA Brands

  • This study aims at providing data for establishing a marketing strategy which can enhance the competitiveness of Korea domestic SPA(Specialty Store Retailer of Private Label Apparel) Brands by suggesting countermeasure strategy through the observation and analysis for SPA Brands, under the current circumstance in which the systematic and scholastic discussion for the matter, is lack, despite the diastrophism in fashion industry is prospected according to the rapid growth of Global SPA Brands. For this purpose, the characteristic and current status of Global SPA Brands is examined, and the main cause of growth is analyzed by approaching to their marketing characteristic, in this study. In relation with this situation, this study suggests the provisions as below, which are drawn from the analysis on Global SPA Brands' marketing strategy, so that Korea domestic SPA Brands could achieve successive performance under fierce competition. First, to be a competitive SPA Brands a business should be able to supply products with frequent product turnover by an interval level of one week or so, the existent product planning by seasons, as a business obtains various swift informations on consumers' demand with R&D center foundation. Secondly, SPA Brands should establish a strategy that a business can create high net profit by inventory management which enables lowering inventory ratio remarkably, and a strategy for innovative product supply by small quantity batch production, along with founding a high technological logistics system. Third, SPA Brands should establish a strategy for primary cost reduction by overseas dispersed outsourcing in order to enable diverse product development and rational price setting. Fourth, fashion marketers should establish also a strategy for communication by which brand image can be delivered effectively, by firming the brand identity and by informing product characteristic and customer service totally, with the method of VMD and flagship store. Additionary, fashion marketers also should establish a strategy by developing mobile application which can provide brand image and diverse other fashion related information.

프로젝트 공급망에서 네트워크 배태성이 협업과 기업성과에 미치는 영향연구 : 2차 협력업체를 중심으로 (A Study on the Effect of Network Embeddedness on Collaboration and Performance in the Project Supply Chain : Focusing on Second-tier Suppliers)

  • EPC 산업군에 속하는 기업들의 주요 업무에 대한 아웃소싱비율이 급격히 높아짐에 따라 프로젝트 공급망의 성격과 협력업체와의 협업구조도 더욱 복잡해져 가고 있다. 1, 2차 또는 그 이하 협력업체의 복잡한 공급망에의 참여는 지속적인 통합노력을 필요로 한다. 본 연구는 2차 협력업체를 중심으로 기업 성과와 거래기업에 대한 관계만족도에 영향을 미치는 선행요인 분석에 초점을 둔다. 네트워크 배태성, 협업, 정보공유 및 신축성 등을 선행요인으로 설정하고, 프로젝트 공급망에의 참여실적이 있는 2차 협력업체들로부터 설문조사를 실시하여 통계적 가설을 검증하였다. 분석결과, 2차 협력업체의 공급망 주도기업과 1차 협력업체와의 협업은 성과와 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 정보공유와 신축성은 네트워크 배태성과 협업에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 협업에 의한 역량제고는 네트워크 배태성에 의해서도 상당한 영향을 받는다는 결과도 도출하였다.
